I got the Triumph Bobbins for my Bobber and an Oxford Paddock Stand, trouble is the bobbins are mounted to low so it's a dodgy business levering it up. This solution going through the axle looks like it should be much easier.
Great idea, I’ve just ordered one for my Street Twin, however, if you haven’t got an extended 27mm socket you’d have to take it off to slacken the spindle nut.
That would be a great product for the increasing numbers of MT-07's now on the road, to complement your new exhaust !!! The exaust is terrific btw !!!!
I purchased the bobbin kit from TEC Bike Parts USA for a 2017 Street Cup. If you screw the left side with the collar all the way end it is too short and no threads are exposed on the right side. I can screw both sides only halfway and make it work but don't feel like it is secure and wish the bolt were longer.
Same issue with a street twin. The bolt all the way on the left collar side make the right side short. Then trying to figure out how to get even amounts of thread on each side isn’t as easy at it sounds. And finally the left side isn’t easily able turn.
I have one to install they manufacturer instruction suggest applying 'red grease' along it before install, any recommendations on a good grease I could use for this and other areas of bike?
Boss, can you let me know where you bought it and the link please? Does it come with the rod as in the video and you just insert it and bold it both sides?
Bought those and installing like the video doesn’t work. The bolt is too short you can’t tighten all the way on the left side because it just loosens the right and bobbin falls off. You can probably just find a long metal rod to slide though and use it when needed. Oh well there goes 70 bucks
Hi you do not say if air cooled or new gen watercooled ?anyway will not fit older air cooled bikes, but we will be making one for them soon.On new gen T100 it will foul the stock silencers but OK with aftermarket cans

mine just arrived yesterday! Good quality at a fair price!

Fine and easy job, the spindle was about an inch over length, but cut this down and fits fine.
Now why didn't I think of that?....brilliant idea!
just bought 1 , looks to be nice quality
Do I need to grease the spindle before fitting?
Nice. Will this also fit on speed twin 900?
I would like to know this as well. I have a 2023 speed twin 900.
My Thruxton 900 2004 does not seem to have a hollow axel, am I being thick or di I have to remove loxk nuts etc , TIA. Mark
This is a good idea, and I could really do with one of these to fit my triumph tiger 955i. - Do you do one that will fit my bike??? Thanks David
Hi is the fender in the video an original Fender Removal Kit? how did you install the licensa plate in that position? thanks
Roby Cash did you figure it out? I'm curious too
I'm assuming you cannot remove the wheel with these installed. Only for working on chain and general maintenance?

Do you make one for a 2020 Triumph Bonneville T100? If so can I please get a part number? Thank you
Does it also fit on a Thruxton 900? I'm looking for the same sort of solution, like this one.
This looks awesome! But.....will the stock exhaust be in the way to use a paddock stand?
No it will not, the stock exhaust are a bit higher, the paddock stand does not touch them.
@@maxvij Thank you👍
does anyone know if this will fit on a 2024 street scrambler 900?
Thanks. Just fitted to a Street Cup, took seconds.

hello where can i download a streettwin 2021 repair manual?
Not entirely related but those are some nice looking rear view mirrors. Do you mind telling me what brand they are?
Thank you.
They are a sample I was sent and we are testing them out ,we will probably be selling these on our site early next year
Ok, thanks for the quick answer. Nice looking ones on the Street Twin. Might have a look at them in the future.
No loctite then?
what a great idea . . . but dammit my 2008 Scrambler doesnt have a hollow axle . . Bum !
how much for a st 1050 2006 , bobbin bar .
do you have a ebay store?
is there anyting to stop me using a long bit of threned bold or 10mm metal and just popping it up on the stand with that?
You could ,but bike would lean over as the axle is different diameter internally at each end , hence why the bobbins are stepped
@@TECBikeParts good explanation thanks
Hi guys just ordered on eBay from you, once in place do you leave it fitted or take on and off when needed?
Cheers
Hi
you can leave in all the time and recommend using locktite on the ends. only need to come off if fully removing wheel
Can you post the link to where I can buy it? that steel rod and the bolts (bobbins)
@@TECBikeParts Can you still get it off after applying loctite? And what loctite would I use?
@@MichaelJepson80 not a problem if you use BLUE loctite, don't use RED loctite as this is very hard to get off.
Can the bobbins be left on whist riding the bike?
Yes just leave them on
@@TECBikeParts Should I apply some thread lock to keep them secure?
Will this work on a T100?
