Lots of practice!!! With triple jump we always used to practice each part of the jump separately, then you put them all together. The hop, step, then jump. I will also say the sprint leading up to the line she’s talking about is very measured, usually people in the very beginning will know exactly how many strides they take before leading up to the jump line. It’s super tedious but once you’re skilled like her, i bet it comes down to focusing on power, distance and speed!

So how do you figure that out? Count steps? Do stride training? That seems super hard to me as I watch.
Hopefully she replies. But yeah you have to count steps by running from the board backwards to see where you need to start.
