I remember watching Game 7 during the 2010 Finals. I will never forget the Ron Artest 3 and the Sasha Vujecic free throws to end the game. Then the decade of disappointment. Kobe got injured during that time and things went even more downhill from there. 10 years later it was great to watch the Lakers get #17. Feels good again as a Laker fan.

I feel like this was just destined as a send just and apt send off to one of the greatest players to have ever played the mamba. Kobe was extremely loyal to the laker franchise throughout and after his retirement and it was a great motivating factor for the players to honor him.
