Meals look amazing. This morning I prepped a bramley apple sausage, sweet potato, red onion, apple and brussels sprouts bake and then I watched your video - never thought about adding chutney. You are right, this is a normal autumn meal, but the weather reminds me of autumn and not summer.
Luke, you have been a huge inspiration to me when I stopped eating meat. Now I'm more pescatarian. You have also been inspiring me to use up all of the stuff I have in the fridge and freezer before I buy more. I love how you make your weekly recipes so diverse, not the same thing every week. Those little gem lettuces I bought a lot as they were reduced to 26p for those double packs. We use a lot of lettuce, these are great for healthy wrap too. 👍👍👍👍😁

I’ve been a pescatarian for a few years now but I know what you mean about missing the taste of meat. I like Quorn nuggets because they remind me of chicken. I also miss the taste of beef and bacon x
I’ve heard that pizza steels are better than pizza stones. I used to use a pizza stone when I made frozen pizza … not that I switched to making my own fresh pizza!
@@LukeCatleugh well if you have a pizza oven, then you don’t need a stone or steel. Do you know Alton Brown? He had a show on the Food Network maybe in the late ’90s (He was cuter when he started). But he added some science to cooking. Well there’s a guy who is a bit similar on RUclips now called Adam Ragusia. I believe he gives recipes in both metric and imperial.
Ahh this system does rely a lot on tryst😂 sometimes you can get random re-scans at the end and a member of staff comes to scan 10 items at random to check you have scanned them all❤
Crazy that you can freeze pizza dough and then you can thaw it and it will still proof after it had been frozen. I would have thought that the yeast would die if frozen. I’ve wondered if frozen yogurt still had active cultures ?
Ahh no not at all❤ if you freeze it after it’s had a prove, it just lets the yeast rest. The warm temperature just wakes it back up. Kinda like putting it to sleep after a long nap😂

Ahh I do try to make recipes with minimal washing up. Honestly having no dish washer makes me cook like that haha!

Love how you scan the food then bag it then pay later. What would happen if you forget to scan something does it beep on the way out?
