Lechonk's name actually doesn't come from French, it comes from Spanish! In Spanish a lechón is what a baby pig is called hence the fusion of it and chonk, though I understand why people would think it comes from French and I have to admit it sounds funnier when viewed as "the chonk"
The chonk, roasted pig and now baby pig. These are the names I have heard as the meaning.
That makes sense, since kalos in gen 6 Was france and gen 9 is spain
@@harikiranv8580 that's because roasted lechón is a very popular dish here in Spain
Thank you! I was looking for this comment :)
@@miguelbustiogarcia7629 lechón asado is popular in the Caribbean
“I hope he doesn’t become bipedal”
Fuecoco standing us his two feet already: “I’m sorry for the way I am”
Lol, right? I think he meant humanoid.
yea i thought that too, maybe hes talkin about sprigatito i know alot ppl dont want another bipedal cat
@@fraserodonnell7618 I didn't say it was our decision I just saw ppl reaction to the cat when they first announced it
@@fraserodonnell7618 okay whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@fraserodonnell7618 what are you guys talking about
The gauntlet is actually for hand to hand fighting, the gimmick in this game is that the trainers fight each other as well.
Source: trust me bro
Multiplayer live PVP but you can suplex your younger brother's pikachu
Kinda reminds me of the snag machine or whatever it’s called from colosseum
"Trust me bro"'s sourcing seems suspect...
Interesting tidbit about Koraidon and Miraidon: Korai means ancient in Japanese and Mirai means future in Japanese, as we can see reflected in their style. So there seems to be an old meets new theme going on in these games.
so thats why miraidon have rocket for his legs, hes from the future,
i wonder if this pokemon games is gonna have alpha pokemon as well
The professors are the same. Sada is from Spanish for past, "pasada;" and Turo is from Spanish for future, "futuro."
Futuristic bearded dragons... I love it!
“When the new meets the old it always ends the ancient ways. And as history told the old ways go out in a blaze.” - Sabaton- Shiroyama. Last stand of the Samurai vs Imperial forces
I'm glad someone pointed this out also Mirai is said "ME ' RYE" and Korai is said "KO ' RYE"
"Those are flowers, that's the flower pokemon called flower"
No, that was Flabebe! They are just really freaking small, because that is how big they are supposed to be!
I was watching the trailer back and I caught it! lol. they are TINY! I'm glad they reflected that in the overworld
@@AustinJohnPlays They are going to be hell! Imagine walking through the grass, hunting a Pokemon down, and then bump into a Flabebe without even noticing because they are smaller than the blades of grass. Hahaha
@@MarisaClardy That'd be hilarious, being ambushed like that. You know that those Pokémon are weak but you also don't want to constantly face them, making you be afraid of stepping into flower patches, where most normal people would like to be at.
Imagine if cosmoem is in the game it would be impossible to see
I came here to say this too.
There are actually pokemon in the background of the screenshot with the trainer, they’re flabebe. It’s pretty cool because it shows that pokemon will be to scale in this game, so I’m hoping we’ll have wailord, finally ascended to its true and final form
it did in the sword and shield dlc
But Quaxly and the other starters were the same height but on the website Quaxly is 1 foot 8 and the other two are 1 foot 4
@@micah9386 I think they mean like when you catch a wailord and let it out it’s smaller compared to how huge it was when you encounter it
@@micah9386 talking about wailord right? Cuz that was to scale but it was standing there doing nothing if I recall. I hope it's able to move around in and out of water in the wild and when walking with the player, if that is a mechanic!
They had to downscale it so it doesnt go out of bound when dynamaxing
Aren’t those Flabebe behind that one trainer?
The “kiosks” also look like Pokémon centers. Red in the middle for healing, Pokemart is the blue section on the left, but I’m not sure what the green section is.
Bet the green is the online portal.
They are, I double checked myself when I saw the trailer
Maybe the green is the clothes store
Wait...
Everyone is like, "Please, don't let Fuecoco be bipedal when it evolves"
But it's already bipedal.
Why wouldn't it stay that way?
Is this the same logic as keeping Sprigatito quadrapedal?
Because the cat Pokémon almost always wind up bipedal? Or because of Incineroar?
To be fair Serperior broke this already by turning from a bipedal snake into...an actual snake
Just fake complaints by fan. Something to complain about that they don’t actually care about
From what I’ve heard people like the look of their starter if it resembles more of a pet than a humanoid partner.
I can kinda see what they mean, even though my favorite starter is Blaziken which has been bipedal the entire time and later on actually humanoid lol
4 legs = affectionate pet you can cuddle
2 legs = if you want to cuddle it you’ll be branded as a furry
i think they meant to say sprigatito rather than fuecoco as he's a baby dinosaur/aligator.
Just occurred to me, with Scarlet having a "past" theme and Violet having a "future" theme, the colors correspond to redshift and blueshift. Redshift as we're moving away from the past and blueshift as we're moving toward the future.
*mindblown.gif
Moving away from the past and moving toward the future is the same thing
@@masterminer2338 technically not. One moves towards the present while one is moving away from the present
@@masterminer2338 Only in that they occur at the same time to the observer. But the direction you're looking is different.
Science
Koraidon - "korai" is Japanese for "ancient". Miraidon - "mirai" means "future". This proves even more the theory of Past/Future theme.
So it strengthens possible hisuian forms further to possibly show up
This basically confirmed it
someone pointed out even the professors names, Sada (pasada - spanish for past [feminine]) and Turo (futuro - spanish for future [masculine]). so pretty cool how they did it
@@austinmull8515 One if Scarlet gets the Hisuian forms natively while Violet gets the regular forms and you can trade? And to make is "fair" violet gets some Galarian/Alolan versions of mons while Scarlet only gets the original ones.
That’s right. Also you can see that by the clothes of the proffesors.
I feel like pawmi has a solid chance of evolving into something even more sick, and considering pikaclones usually dont evolve it would be cool if pawmi does
I have an theory that Pawmi would break this trends as it is show in the second trailer it is odd that they show us the pikaclone which the second usually shows early game new mons and is use in an early game rival and their usually have evolutions line
@@joshhallam6342 very true, and i feel like if we are ginn get it in one of the first areas then its gonn be the early electric type like yamoer and shinx
When I first saw Pawmi i was really hoping it was gonna go down the Bear route instead of mouse. Just looking at it gives me more bear vibes. Tho I do hope it becomes fire/electric
I sure hope he evolves. I'm not really big on using mons that don't evolve.
that would be a dope ass typing
The “orange crest” just made me realise we’re essentially getting Pokemon Orange and Purple but with better names
What’s even cooler than that to me is that with a lot of themes repeating and adding a few new features it’s like we are getting well overdue remakes scarlet is just a variant shade of red and violet being the variant of blue, even tho we had let’s go to cover those gens it’s dope to see it go back to colors
More like Orange and Grape. I'm sincerely considering nicknaming my Miraidon Welch's.
@@jacobbissey9311 Or maybe for Koraidon, you can nickname it Marmalade? As in like, orange jam?
(No wait, you're talking of the brand of jelly, not the actual jelly, jam, or any sweet jar of goodness, my bad...)
@@OddMoonlight I'd have to like orange flavored things. Perhaps Valencia, since that's a place that's been historically known to produce good oranges for centuries? I dunno, I don't usually nickname legendaries.
Also, fun fact, the color orange is actually named after the fruit, which is named after the tree, prior to that the color had some archaic name that means "red-yellow" (I forget the word itself).
Miraidon is definitely my legendary it looks so cool as a futuristic Pokémon. The scarlet legendary looks cool too but Miraidon just looks amazing and I love the colors.
Agreed
same. i prefer the futuristicness anyways as someone who loves science fiction.. so violet will be the way for me.. i was already incing towards it because i prefer grapes over oranges and the color purple is my favorite color but now it's a done deal
It will be hard to choose between the two, one looks like a Quetzalcoatl dragon, meanwhile the other one has a freaking jet pack for legs
I can't choose I just buy the double pack
I like both designs but miraidon looks cooler, but fighting type is my favorite type so im not sure what game I'm going to choose.
The professors' names and the legendaries make me think this game has a time travel element to it. Sada could be a nod to the spanish word for past ... pasado(a)... and Turo for the spanish word for future... futuro.
There ought to be some time shenaniganry since the game has Hisuian forms. Which would be a bit difficult to achieve since Hisui's become Sinnoh some time in the past, and those supposedly (but not 100% certainly since there was no official confirmation) either went extinct or changed to more modern mons.
Or it could be something more akin to Black and White. Tech versus culture
that seems about right the legendarys are literally called past and future. but i dont like that they broke the professors being named after trees stereotype
Que pasada
Yup. Past and future. There might be some time travel in this game
Both legendaries are going to be vehicles (Probably for the time travel stuff), that is why Koraidon has a big wheel on its chest (plus a semi-wheel on its tail), meanwhile, Miraidon looks futuristic speeder. SAVE THIS TWEET!!!
I feel like the legendaries are most definitely rideable. You guys have probably have already figured out Korai means ancient and Mirai means future in japanese and that they both look like vehicles with Koraidon looking like a motorcycle and Miraidon looking like a jet. In addition, both the legendaries having “raidon” in their name, similar to the words “ride on” meaning we might possibly be able to travel between time and space with these 2 legendaries in order to time travel.
It’s back to Austin John season! The closer we get to the games the more content we get from a great creator.
"Lackluster visuals and engaging gameplay" is the most on point description of Legends Arceus
Professor Turo from a looks perspective is quite literally just a younger looking Chairman Rose from Sword and Shield.
I also find it quite funny how Austin badly doesn't want Fuecoco to be bipedal when it evolves even though it already is bipedal.
Man, I'm gonna have to break a 25 year tradition. I've always gotten the "Blue" version. Blue, Silver, Sapphire, Pearl, Y, Moon, and Shield. But I'm really liking how Scarlet is looking, I prefer the more tribal styling over the futuristic.
1:40 - I actually heard that they're doing a thing where the levels of the Pokemon you battle against are going to be adjusted based on how far into the plot you've progressed (so maybe the number of Badges you have will dictate it). So in that manner, it wouldn't be inconceivable to see a lower level 8th 'Gym'. It also puts replayability through the roof, as you would have to start over multiple times to see the different setups that Trainers have at different stages of the game.
i hope this is true!
while it may be possible I doubt it because people have been making up rumors about level scaling since we first saw the wild area for sword and shield
I wouldn’t like the idea of having to restart your journey so much just to see the lesser versions of gym leader teams although i can see the appeal. I would prefer after the elite 4 all gyms get their “8th gym” set up unlocked so you get to see everyone’s full potential.
@@Michaelflexin I think the real problem would be restarting to see the stronger versions of their teams because the lesser versions would probably just be their current team minus a Pokemon here and there while the stronger has new Pokemon. I could also see them just changing the levels instead of changing Pokemon.
hopefully 8th gym doesn't equal to measly level 60s and upcaps the levels after that gym
Korai (古来) is another way of saying “ancient” or “from time immemorial” while Mirai (未来) means “future” in Japanese, so Koraidon and Miraidon represent past and future respectively, which is also why the professors look like that. Pretty cool!
Also the Professor's names Sado and Turo come from Pasado and Futuro in Spanish which mean Past and Future resectively
Regarding the names of the legendaries:
“Korai” roughly translates to “from time immemorial” or “for all of history”
Sound: ko-rye-don
And
“Mirai” means future.
Sound: me-rye-don
So both names end sounding like Ride-on and both look like Motorbikes?🤔
I’m curious. Maybe we have a small lizard legendary that can evolve into either future or past? The names are similar and designs are similar. Similarly to how cosmog can evolve into lunaala or solgaleo. Definitely going for future and past theme.
Called Imadon, presumably?
@@Kreacher3 I’m thinking there must be a Spanish translation for the “kor” and the “mir” because the aidon stem is the same.
@@huckinator korai is Japanese for past and Mirai is Japanese for future, thats likely it
@@huckinator If I'm not mistaken, the legendary names typically aren't translated from the Japanese, unlike most of the other names.
@@neppyneppynepu awesome! Thanks for the info! That totally makes sense
"I hope Fuecoco doesn't turn bipedal."
Austin, it's already bipedal.
NOOOO!!
I think he mixed it up with Sprigatito somehow, lol.
@@GoinGreninja he actually repeats that he doesn't want fuecoco to be bipedal later in the episode, so I don't think he did.
@@skyshack4194 Oh dear. Does he actually think that an already bipedal design isn't gonna stay bipedal? Wonder how that'd work but I don't think it's happening anyhow, so nice.
@@GoinGreninja yeah, I don't think he realizes.
I really wanna see the evo of sprigatito as an Iberian lynx or saber tooth on all fours on my team, I really like dark as a typing
I hope it gets fast and physical move pool and some new moves like saber strike, a grass equivalent of aqua jet, and a grass fang move ( seeing it use leaf blade with it's talons or tail would be sick too)
My guess is we’re going to be able to visit every city but we still have to do the gyms in order
ahhh that makes sense
I remember when people were leaking sword and shield and they said the legendary es were going to be twin snakes and have an Aztec feel. Makes me think they actually had some inside info
They leaked the wrong game's assets. I have a theory that SV will be a combination of all the pokemon games on Switch we've seen to date, having been partially developed alongside each. Snap graphics, SwSh free roam and overworld pokemon, the Time and Space theme of BDSP, Arceus open world and catching mechanic, etc.
It's probably because multiple things are in development at the same time and ideas get moved around, so people who have actual Intel will release info that may be true but not relevant for the newest game release.
Yeah wow they did have somethinf
I know for a fact that Mirai in Japanese means future. Korai probably means current day/ maybe past (let me know if you know which one it is). That means that the leaks that mentioned different timelines are probably credible
*Edit:
Korai means: From times past, ancient
Great video as always and I love the editing at 3.30 😂
I'm happy that there are still lots of Pokémon to discover that's what makes Pokémon my favorite franchise of all Time!
The thing I think I'm most excited for is the fact that we can play with friends. That way you're actually journeying with people rather than just playing on seperate save files. That was probably my favorite thing about Let's Go.
I don't think the group play will be on the game itself, I think it'll use the online and local connectivity to connect to other switches with other games to link up, so if you only have one switch amongst your group I don't think you'll be able to play together like you could in let's go.
I love lechonk. He needs protection.
Also miraidon might be the single best designed Pokemon I've ever seen
I think Miraidon looks sick but in my opinion I wouldn't say it's the best design. I think LECHONK deserves that reward XP
As a secondary legendaries it has a goated design like lugia and kyogre !!
Lechonk = Lechon = Delicious
His final evolution will be Lethicc
Because olive oil is heavily used in cooking, I wonder if Smoliv will get a grass/fire evo 👀
Austin: please don't turn fuecoco bipedal😭
Fuecoco: literally standing on 2 legs 😐
Fuecoco is already bipedal, Sprigatito is the one that needs to stay on all fours
@AndrewWithEase11 11 says a single person lol
Very happy about the character customization. Seemed like they listened to fans and added some much needed hairstyles for all types of people!
I appreciate your coverage so much, the stuff you're pointing out makes sense. I just watched several videos of people making some really weird reaches.
We basically had the starter evo typings confirmed.. Sprigatito is grass and dark due to using its aroma to make pokémon lose their will to battle, Fuecoco is fire and ghost due to the crack in its head leading to the sprouted flames in its head, also fuecoco seems to have more of a glow around him than the other pokémon shown, almost like a ghost? Finally Quaxly is water and fighting due to his strong legs allowing him to swim well and kick hard
Yup
To be honest, I get hyped every time there’s new Pokémon or Zelda also because that means new AustinJohn videos 🙌🏻 always a joy bud
Same!
Same
Yessir also can we talk about how Quaxly flashes his hair in the trailer
I hope there's a ghost type based off LaLorona like how Frostlass is based off the Yuki-Onna
I mean La llorona is mexican folklore not spanish, but who knows maybe GF will make it happen
Just realized congrats on 2 mil!
5:14 I feel like the glowing lines around the models give a super mario sunshine feel
(Also the over all game as well)
Clearly a past/future or tradition/innovation theme going on with these games.
Scarlet seems to be set in the "past", as clearly indicated by Professor Sada and her caveman outfit. Koraidon seems to be some sort of iguana/dragon with an Aztec God kinda design. Violet seems to be set in the "future", as clearly indicated by Professor Turo and his cybersuit outfit. Miraidon seems to be some sort of cybernetic dragon with the jets and whatnot.
One thing I haven't seen people point out is that both legendaries seem to have some sort of "bike tires" bulging out of their chests. I'm guessing these "tires" are important if the legendaries are ride Pokemon to the past and future respectively. It'd also be cool if they were actually the same Pokemon, just set in different times. Also, the last bit of the trailer has some sparkly, white animation with the Pokeball. I wouldn't be surprised if that's a nod to a potential 3rd legendary like Giratina and Rayquaza. Maybe since the box legendaries are past and future, it would be cool if the third legendary has to do with the "present."
Also regarding past and future, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that maybe Scarlet will have Hisuian Zoroark and Violet will have normal Zoroark to keep with the themes. So that's a potential version exclusive right there.
I think Nemona might wear purple in Scarlet and red in Violet. There are probably two rival schools in the starter town (one wears red, one wears purple). The main character in Scarlet is from the red school and the one in Violet is from the purple school. I think Nemona might be from the opposite school.
Not likely, if you look at the trailer she's wearing the same uniform as the player. More likely each game will essentially be a parallel world to eachother like Ruby and Sapphire. Only the difference being which professor set up the school.
Would be awesome if Sprig evolved into a four legged tiger with a Musketeer hat, but was able to use its plant like composition to transform its claws and arms into a saber to attack.
Smoliv's face is reminding Austin of Trapinch! Same eyes :P
Smoliv looks like an adrenaline orb i think is why it looks familiar lol
I have a wild theory that in scarlet you will start in older time and in violet you start in futuristic time and these 2 timelines clash throughout the game and then lets you roam freely across them like the reverse world in USUM
Good idea but it’s gonna take a while
@AndrewWithEase11 11 I mean yea pretty sure they wouldn't. But just imagine if they did.
I feel like it’ll be a more of a belief point story like b&w
Well, it kicks in battle with its strong legs. So water fighting confirmed for Quaxly.
Speedrunning this game is gonna be crazy, finding the most optimal gym battles for the pokemon near you... The possibilities will be endless.
PS: "Outside glow" in game titles is called "rim lighting"
From that quilfish shot, there's also a tire and tire treads, and the legendaries have a wheel and are vaguely motorcycle-y, put that in an open world, is there a chance we're getting something faster than a bike? Maybe a Monaco Grand Prix area?
Monaco is south of France though. However, there's a F1 track in Barcelona
@@lukasmihara ...close enough? I just wanna zoom around on a lizard motorcycle 😂
@@grlgoddess2 That'd be cool 🏍
@@grlgoddess2 I'm in love with you
Cool
Little Japanese lesson if someone's interested:
Koraidon → 古来 _korai_ = ancient / [coming] from old times
Miraidon → 未来 _mirai_ = future / time to come
1:57 I think those were Flabebe? Also congrats on 2 mil!
I like the subtle teases of other pokemon, the one scene show drifloon, hatereena(or however you spelled that), and applin on the side of a case. Then the trade also showed lavitar and bagon. That has me absolutely pumped
Also there is a regional variant of chewtle, or looks to be, it could be the lighting but possibly more regional variants
@@aruce9 nop
@@aruce9 No, that's just Chewtle. If it was a regional variant, they would've announced it as such.
Austin- weird theory- remember Ash Greninja from the anime- I’ve always thought that the bond phenomenon had been a gimmick from another region- and that ash’s froakie somehow had it. It would make sense for this region, because Spain is located near France- where Kalos is located. Just a thought- could be wrong. I think our ‘friend’ in this game is wearing a band similar to the one Clemont gave Ash in the anime. 🤷♂️
It would be neat if pokemon had battle bond forms. Would add context twas to why Ash's greninja had it instead of it just being randomly made for the anime.
2:00 in those honestly do look like Flabébé - they’re the right size for it, too.
Nice to see Austin pop back into our feeds for his biannual pokemon news related content lol
@1:58 you were right the first time Austin! Those are Flabebe, they're flower pokemon!
Thank you so much for covering this! I always go to your channel before the official every time! Do you think you'll do a playthrough of this game for the channel or only the normal tip/trick videos?
Also I'm naming my Lechock "Chancho" and we are gonna Nacho Libre those legendaries
9:40 IMO smolive has the face of the classic heartless from KH with the blank yellow eyes and zigzag mouth
I feel like Pawmi will evolve into an electric/fighting type. Its "paws" will evolve into fists and like Austin said in his other video, think it will resemble Gorochu
For the multiplayer, a part of me feels like it sounds too good to be true so I think like it’ll be like a type of wild area where we can toggle multiplayer and be around others but limited there
My guess is that the map will be broken down between several sub-regions and you might need to reconnect every time you enter a new sub-region, which will probably necessitate hitting up a pokemon center. I hope that's not the case, but it's what I expect from the description.
What Smoliv reminded me of is SUNKERN! The almost forgotten Pokémon
it said that quaxly uses strong kicks in battle so that’s almost like a confirmation of him turing into a water/fighting type
They are really embracing the concept of time. I remember in the reveal trailer we saw a clock turning its hands rapidly. Not to mention, the professors are no longer free based names. Sada as in pasada (feminine form of past) and Turo (as in futuro - future). Another would be the names of the legendaries. Miraidon or Mirai (future in Japanese) and korai (ancient or time honored). Looking forward to the release of the games
As always, a pleasure to hear Austin pronunciation on new and old Pokémon
I'm laughing extra about Lechonk because it derives from "Lechon" (a roasted whole pig) and chonk.
It's so weird seeing a pun on a pokemon near your language 🤣🤣
Hey there Austin! Love your content! I just wanted to mention that at 2:00 min where you say those are some Pokémon oh wait those are just flowers, but it looks like those are actually flabebe! so yeah you right that is the flower Pokémon but not called flower 😂! Can’t wait to watch more!
Best part of new Pokemon information: New Austin John Content!
I love the vibrant colors on the legends. I think I might go with the scarlet legend
I just get both games lol. I think I'll use Home as a way to get all three starters unless we don't need to like in Legends. 😇
"The flower pokemon, flower."
Idk looks a bit like flabebe for sure
i have a theory that the new gimmick is related to the whole past/future theme.
Like when you activate the ring, you can transform your pokemon into their future or past forms and even gaining new typings and moves
Austin had same reaction on 4:04 as me when i got the Smoliv name lol
Literally just watched the trailer reaction, now I'm here, Austin has such great work ethic
AJ thanks for being my “Pokédex”, you always have the best clarification for all the new Pokémon news.
0:38 IM MELTING!!! Omg omg omg I cant wait but I will if I have to ^_^
Lechonk is one of my favorite pokemon, it is so cute!
Koraidon is a motorcycle, and Miraidon is a jet. They'll be used as a mobile pokemon as well.
I honestly thought Pawmi was an alternate Stuffle lol.
I'm hoping Fuecoco goes with the monster in Spanish lore, that it's modeled after.
Also team Fuecoco show some love with a like. 😁
Side note, that I just saw.
"Korai", means past.
"Mirai", means future.
They're both motorcycles. Look at the pattern on Miraidon's throat sack; it's very distinctly a tire, but far more modern looking then Koraidon's
@@druidt8949 Yep. Koraidon seems to be based off of a heavy duty off-road motorcycle that's not the most technologically advanced while Miraidon is based off of a very futuristic looking hoverbike which is very advanced. It's so nice to see a combination of living creatures and vehicles like with Latios and Latias.
@@druidt8949 of course. Yet only Miraidon shows signs of being a jet. Even jets and other types of planes have wheels.
This could also be a fusion set of Pokémon too. At some point in the game, the past and present may have to merge. Like the Shiva sister do in Final Fantasy.
I'm so hyped for these games can't wait for more news whenever that will be
kind of dark, but Lechon is a roast pig dish common in the philippines and spanish speaking countries,
typically pigs are stuffed with lemongrass/star anise/other herbs before roasting to make the meat more fragrant, which explains Lechonk's pokedex diet desc of eating fragrant herbs
i can imagine fuecocos fire moving down its back as it evolves
Fuecoco is already bipedal. How can it turn into what it already is? I know you mean evolves, but that doesn't change that it is already bipedal.
Quaxly's 'hair' is supposed to be water, so that's why it's so shiny.
Not a lot of newcomers to the series? SWSH sold more than any other game in the series. There are always newcomers.
You were right at 1:59. Those were Flabébé's in the Background. Accurately sized by the looks of it. 👍🏼
Omg accurate to size flabebe are so cute and tiny!
austin mistakenly mistakes what he thought was a pokemon as a flower, when in reality it actually was a pokemon, flabebe! (although, most of the pokemon is a flower, and with the quality of the image, I think we can let this mistake slide)
@Austin John Plays Fuecoco is already bipedal why wouldn't it stay that way? Unless you were talking about Sprigatitto, in which case, I think at this point we all know it DEFINITELY WILL BE bipedal, becasue pokemon co.
3:24 he’s accent when pronouncing the Pokémon had me dying😂
In the crystal I see a fractured reflection of probably the 3rd legendary but it looks like a fusion of zekrom and lugia in the same fashion of the 2 other legendries from what I can make out. You can see part of its face towards the bottom right of the crystal.
I hope Lechonk evolves into Lechonkster.
Hey Austin, the characters and visuals look like the ones from new Pokémon snap. With the uncanny valley face and very non-Pokémon eyes with more slim realistic body proportions. I’ve seen a lot of people compare this games graphics to legends arceus or swsh but with the bright colors, Pokémon animations, and the textures it looks a lot more like new Pokémon snap to me than anything else. Might be an interesting video topic?
I hate these new animations, the boy looks like a five year old.
It was a pleasure meeting you today, Brother! I am definitely going to take advantage of the tips you gave me on starting a niche channel!! Now, I am enjoying the Tesla Autopilot tricks you showed me! 😂😂😂
Austin’s commentary brings me life
So I was looking up Aztec lore, and it seems like Koraidon and Miraidon are based on the Aztec serpent god of time, Quetzalcoatl. The reason I say this is beacuse Quetzalcoatl is feathered like koraidon, and can shapeshift (which i'm assuming Miraidon can do because the jett boosters make no sense otherwise lol). Also "Korai" is japanese for past, while "Mirai" is future.
Presentdon, if merged?
Fusion?
I think sprigatitos signature move will be something along the lines of “weed knead” and will lower opponent stats when used on them or will raise teammate stats when used on them. Similar to how pollen puff works
We need weed cat
7:56 You’ve got competition Tepig.
With that description of Quaxky I am now convinced that it’s final evo will be water/fighting with it’s signature move being the water equivalent of blaze kick
You can always count on Austin to add non-existent sounds, letters and syllables to words. It's not Ko-rai-A-don/Mi-rai-A-don. It's just plain Ko-rai-don and Mi-rai-don.
I thought he was doing Ko-ra-I-don/etc. but I agree it's unnecessary/incorrect.
Con's of reporting visual data in verbal format without a language guide, made even harder because it's hard to be sure which language they are leaning more towards sometimes- the Japanese original, the English localization, the Spanish inspiration, or something else entirely?
Can yall stop being weird the trailer came out today he obviously wouldn't be able to get it right yall will be okay wtf
