The Commandant Army War College Nigeria Major General IB Maina presided over the event, emphasizing the significance of the occasion and the pivotal roles the promoted officers would play in shaping the future of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
During the decoration process, each officer was called forward, their chest adorned with new insignia and badges representing their elevated ranks. The act of pinning the new badges symbolized not only a personal achievement for the officers but also a commitment to higher responsibilities and greater expectations.

You guys cannot stop insecurity in Nigeria and each time I turn around more and more new military "Generals" are decorated. Is this by merit, tribe, religion or what have you? I suspect that most is not by merit.

Who are those men and women in Non Military uniform joining to decorate them?
Their wives/spouses/son/daughters. A military senior decorates the rank while a family member, in most cases the wife helps in the dressing.
