I noticed an error in the way you bag your greensoap bottle. wrapping it from the top causes the bottom of the bottle to touch the dental bids which become contaminated during the tattoo session. Personally, I bag it to the bottom… just my 2 cents.

Also another thing to consider (and before I say this just know that your setup and breakdown is closest to perfect that I have seen on RUclips). For your squirt bottle it would be more effective to bag it from the bottom. Like drop it in a sandwich bag, because if it is sitting on your table then the bottom of the bottle could potentially be a cross contamination risk for your clean table after you break down. When I set up I drop my soap bottle in a sandwich bag so that the bottom doesn’t actually touch the table. Then when I break down, I use a clean hand/dirty hand method and grab the top of the bottle with my clean hand and pull the dirty bag off with my dirty hand. Maybe I’m over thinking this but I just thought I’d point that out.

Newbie here. I used to work in a lab, and we are quite picky there, so maybe I am going too far. During the set up you touch with your gloves some bottles (and the box of the plastic wrap) which have been in a supermarkt or whatever, and may carry germs. Also I find a problem with the stencil. We clean the skin before applying the stencil, but the stencil has been in my drawing table or a printer or whatever, in any case no germ free. Should I worry about that, or just focus on not transfering any blood from one customer to the next?

Helloo 😊 I've been finding your channel super informative, I have a question. Most of the setup videos I've watched dont show anyone switching gloves during their setup, personally I've been going through 3/4 pairs of gloves at least when setting up, making sure I don't handle anything on the outside that is going to potentially touch a clients skin, so for example when you opened the disposable grip you handled the packet with your gloved hands and then handled the grip? Im super confused as to how that's not now contaminated? 🤔😬

I don’t change gloves during set up unless I have to touch something like my phone or something that has nothing to do with the tattooing process.

No mention of the importance of autoclaving metal reusable pen grips or using disposable pen grips. Cartridges are useless when you are handling and switching them during the tattoo process and laying them on contaminated tray. It causes ink and blood to get up inside of grip. Opti-cide is not a cold sterilization according to CDC. And all reuseable instruments such as grips should be steam autoclaved. A cold sterilization is for plastics and other items that can not with stand heat and it takes 3 -12 hours submerged in chemical.
