I am obsessed with Dearmond pickups. I wish there was a comprehensive biography or documentary out there but just little snippets here and there. The story could be about as interesting as winding pickups but I'd be all over it. I have a dearmond on my cheap acoustic, and though my Harmophone (rebranded Magnatone 112) it sounds just like Scotty Moore's Gibson 285. I love it.
