Stunning! I remember as a child, 5 or 6 years old, in the summer visiting my grandparents' cabin on the Mississippi we would see dragonflies everywhere and I was really scared of them because I thought they could breathe fire 😂 I was naive about the things my brother would get me to believe!

I like to say that Dragonflies are my spirit animal as I have loved them since I was a pre-teen (so a handful of years ago😈) and I recently acquired a Taxco Mexico dragonfly brooch that I fell in love with the second i saw it!! Plaque a jour. see through enamel. How very interesting. Thanx for the lesson. At first I didn’t appreciate them. Now I do. Bugs are not my forte . But I definitely like these dragon flies. You exhibited and explained them beautifully.

The French plique a jour enamel is so beautiful. It makes me sad that you lose some of the beauty when the pendant against your body. There's no way to get the light to shine through from the back. I'm searching for a pair of earrings. That way, the light can shine through .
