Love your enemies don't mean love the devils. Love has a vast dimension in its capabilities. You kill them so you stop their bad karma. That's also love. This happened because the european Christians aren't doing anything. Because the evil people knew that Christians won't do anything against it.

I am a United States citizen, and I live in the state of New York. I am a Christian. I did not watch the opening of the Olympics, but I did see a small segment of it to know what happened. I was absolutely appalled, but the word of God says in Galatians chapter 6 verse seven Do not be deceived. God will not be mocked whatever a man sows that shall he reap. At the same time. we are to pray for those that are not believers to come to know their Savior, Jesus, the Christ, the only God, their Creator. Also, He came and died and shed His blood for them just as He shed His blood for all of us, so my prayer is that everyone that was involved in this disgraceful act would be awakened to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and that they would repent and come into relationship with him as their personal Lord and Savior.
Thank you for your transparency. I don’t believe that anybody on this earth would think that this has to do with being French though I understand your concern. God bless you.

You notice: all the countries that have a strong Christian heritage, such as Russia, France, the USA, etc. - because of their Christian heritage, satan has a very particularly strong hatred for those countries and has been trying to ruin them as much as he can for centuries. English Christian here. The Olympics in my home are loved we sit with the programme to see what is been shown when and where and for two weeks we try and watch everything we can and because it was in France it was more or less on our time frame. We fully supported any country who got to host them it is an expensive thing to do now so given the host country support is essential. However since the opening ceremony my family has not watched one single thing. I am appalled not only by the attack on our country which we Brits are so angry about with the boats which as everyone knows is a significant movement in my country which cost the last government their political power they then decided to insult the Christians world wide. I have nothing against any French person but I do have a problem with who ever thought that doing that was a good idea. It was blasphemous rude and downright dangerous. @@Claire90409 According to the Gospel Of Rome or When I Was Growing Up Catholic, The Way The Sisters and Brothers Taught was According To Trent, this condemnation of the Olympics is to earn salvation by good works and reduce time in Purgatory. It is earn one's way to Heaven. A legalistic, anathematizing, Treasury of Merits, outside the Church There Is No Salvation.
In 1510, Brother Martin was sent to Rome. He hiked there...about 700 miles through a severe
winter. He was enthusiastic about his trip to the Vatican. When he first saw the city, he dropped to his knees and said "Hail, holy city of Rome!" Rome--so rich in relics--was a holy supermarket of merits for pilgrims interested in getting to heaven without a detour through purgatory.
Most Christians believed they would go to heaven only if they did more good than evil. And most figured they'd fall short. So when they died, God would need to purge them of their excess sin.
They called this process purgatory and thought of it as thousands of years of misery. To reduce time in purgatory, many tried to pile up good works in this lifetime by venerating relics and doing penance. In Rome, Luther did his Church business. Then, like any earnest pilgrim--he spent his free time visiting relics.
Rather than earning salvation by fasting or doing good works...it's a free gift
to anyone who believes. As this concept of unearned grace took hold, Luther said, "I felt myself to have been born again."
In our Latin Bible, "repent" has come to mean "to do penance." But in the original Greek it
means "to change one's mind"--and that is what Jesus meant.
Jesus didn't ask for penance...works, deeds or rituals...he asks for a simple change of heart. Salvation is not earned by pilgrimages to Rome, veneration of relics, or Masses attended. We need only Jesus Christ. Jesus paid for our sins. Salvation is a gift from God."
The more Martin read the Bible, the more conflict he found between salvation through faith and the Church's salvation through rituals and good works. He kept returning to Romans 3:28:
"A man is justified by faith"...for emphasis, Martin added, "and faith alone." he rejected the idea that Christians must earn salvation through good works.
The Lutheran movement introduced two essential changes: First, salvation is a gift from God--we're saved by our faith--not by good works or sacraments

So let me get this right; you are now totally intolerant of any criticisms of your religion. Unfortunately, most religions to one degree or another are, and have always been, intolerant of other competing ideas. Islam, for instance, will try to kill you for leaving their loving religion. The christian Catholics of Spain exhibited more than a tad of intolerance during the Spanish Inquisition; one of the main reasons that, at the age of 16, I realized I was an atheist. That way, I can easily tolerate any of these fairy tales that purport to be the "real religion with the one and only god.... etc., etc...
I have found that one of the hallmarks of a religious person is their inability to laugh at themselves, and they of course need to congregate in groups because no single person would possibly believe the concepts of any religion on their own and thus needs to be surrounded and supported by similar minded "believers" in order to buy into that fairytale.
So, if you are hurt by the "mocking" of christians, well, welcome to the club; I've been mocked by many religionists throughout my life for my tolerant views - and I still keep chuckling at the professed tolerance of these hypocrites. I don't see this changing anytime soon. I just sincerely hope our world doesn't enter another era of the "dark ages" when religious intolerance reigns supreme.

It is also noticeable that only Christianity was singled out for insult and ridicule. The reason is that it is actually intended politically, to undermine and weaken western society and institutions. Christianity is seen as underpinning western values, and is therefore a target. Other religions, especially Islam, are seen as useful tools to undermine western society, and so these are either left alone, or ‘celebrated’ or where needed, excused.

I thought the “Last Supper” scene from the opening ceremony was distasteful. They could have just had the fashion show part with the drag queens and it would have been fine. That way they could have still been inclusive without mocking the religion of millions of people.
