Wow - Oscar Duran here. Just came across your channel and was pleasantly surprised to find a shout out on it for my build. Much appreciated. I've been going over your videos. Surprised I haven't come across your channel before. You've done a great job. You have a new fan. Keep it up.
Oh WOOOOOW BRO, you just saved me $250!! I saw this online (the metal version) from a fitness equipment website a few years ago and have been contemplating buying. Now I KNOW I'm going to build this.
That 2x4 stand, but in the middle and leg it swivel. You could add another layer of 2x4 to the center one you have and fed a bolt through. Look at Titan seated calf raise machine for reference
UHMW plastic is held on by three sets of screws. I would be interested in hearing if the center set of screws begin to interact with the bar. If they do, an easy fix might be to use four sets of screws or to offset the middle set. Thank you for sharing! Stay safe.
Thanks! Yeah I thought about that. I used the countersink bit on the uhmw so the screws sit lower than the top of the uhmw. So far there’s no contact but I’ll watch to see if uhmw starts to wear down over time.
This is awesome! I love the final product! I’ve always wondered if there is a way to do chest supported tbar rows with a landmine. Do you think your bull dog pad would work for this?
@@KaizenDIYGym let me know if you come up with anything. I’ve always loved chest supported tbar rows at the gym and if I could find an easy diy way to do them at home that would be money! I honestly love all your content man! Keep up the awesome work
Can you still perform belt squats with the weight on the other side of the cross support or are your feet too far forward? With the way you were preforming them in the video, I feel like the weight is going to hit the supports your feet are on.

Awesome! Thanks for the kind words and for providing the inspiration for this video!
That grip tape seems like a must, but I dig the final look of it.
Thanks! I enjoy the feel of the grip tape but it might not be necessary for everyone.
Love the attention to detail to make it even more functional. 🙌🏽🔥
Thanks dude! This was a fun build!
This would be a good way to make t bar rows banded.
That’s a great idea!
Another fantastic DIY Project!
Much appreciated brother!
Great job, Kyle! Love it!
Thanks Mr Peej! I’m pretty happy with this one

Awesome, good to hear!
Sweet design! Foot print seems like it'd be a little big for a smaller home gym, but seems easy to tuck in a corner somewhere when not in use.
Yeah, it takes up space when laying flat, but can stand up on its side when not in use. Not too bad
This thumbnail is the goat of all thumbnails
Haha, I thought it was kinda corny but I’m glad it works! That photo session was fun.
@@KaizenDIYGym nah man it is straight 🔥🔥 just like your content! Keep up the great work!!
Love this! Adding to my list of things to make for my gym. Maybe I'll break out the landmine more often.
Same here. I had pretty much stopped using my landmine altogether. Now I use it all the time.
I actually used your DIY squat wedges on-top of DIY gym blocks for the exact same setup. Good stuff mate 👍
That sounds like a great way to combine pieces and save space!

Awesome, thanks!
Nice work!
Thanks man!
Cool build. With the cost of lumber I am going to have to make this a Christmas present build. Haha
Depends on how much lumber costs in your area. I made this out of scraps so it was free to me. If I bought everything it would be less than $50
@@KaizenDIYGym I live in CA where a sheet of OSB is $50
Yikes!

Great vid bro
Thanks dude!
You could also use this for weighted calf raises.
That’s true! I’ll have to give that a try!

A bulldog pad could work, it would need to be mounted to something. I’ve been milking over this trying to think of a way to make it chest supported.

Brilliant
Most guys won't build these DIY'S but it's great if they do 😉
I’m happy either way! Thanks for watching!
@@KaizenDIYGym ya cuz you have it to use LMAO
Nice!
Thanks!
perfect timing. I was looking at belt squats. Great idea. Another well crafted build. Where did you find the handle attachment for the barbell?
Perfect! Yeah it is great for belt squats. The attachment is $10 on Amazon. I put a link to it in the description, right at the top.
@@KaizenDIYGym thank you so much. You're a legend!
This design make sense for steel. Working with wood, I think I would rather make a box structure with some board reinforcement.
Got for it!
Do you feel extra support should be added under the middle of the crossboard where the barbell end will lay, under the piece of UHMW plastic?
I haven’t had the need but it wouldn’t be difficult to add

No, I’d have to rebuild a wider platform for that.
Nice setup. Where'd you buy the swivel joint for the landmine setup. Thanks.

What’s the angle on top of the 4x4?

Squatty potty 🤣
Gotta love multifunctional equipment!
