"Street Fighter II (ストリートファイターⅡ) is a sub-series in Capcom's Street Fighter franchise of competitive fighting games, originally released as coin-operated arcade games. The Street Fighter II series started with the original Street Fighter II game itself, released in 1991 as a sequel to Capcom's 1987 fighting game Street Fighter.
Street Fighter II - The World Warrior is the first iteration of the Street Fighter II series, released in March 1991. The game features all the basic features that would be carried over to subsequent Street Fighter II editions.
The very first home version produced by Capcom was the SNES version of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, released on June 10, 1992 in Japan and in July in North America. I like the World Warrior Music on the Snes, but the Music in the Turbo Version on the Snes sucks, there are so much Reverb that i got the Feeling that the Sound came from a Cola Can.
The Music from SSF2 (on any Plattform) sucks, i hate it.
For me the Best Music got the Original Arcade Version from SF2

I owned sfII on the snes. Even at a young age though I could tell it wasn't the same as the arcade, the sounds, music, animation quality was all a bit "off". Oh by the way, RIP coin op games.

This game so pure at it's finest the sound the graphics the only thing is that they made the other versions faster but what I don't like is that they changed the music a bit in the other versions and also Guile's face changed

What do you mean by "before its time"? Street Figher 2 WAS the very first game that made human-vs-human fighting gene popular. It was RIGHT ON TIME to DEFINE a new trend!

Listen, it's AHEAD of its time, not BEFORE. Something being before its time would imply that it was outdated upon release, which is obviously a negative.
My child hood lol. There's a Arcade about a hour from my house that has this. I had to take William (Guile) and get revenge for charlie again lol. Great game play.
The most annoying think is, that this video doesnt function on Street Fighter 2 on PSP. Bison makes different moves and I have no chance to defeat him with Guile. The same shit with Dhalsim. Regardless what all RUclips Vids tell us, with Guile and Dhalsim I cannot defeat Bison. With all other characters I kicked his ass 1000 times.

for Guile to create a sonic boom he would have to move his arms at 332 m/s or 1195 km/hr or 717 miles/hour. ... so basically we all need to keep working out to get to his level.

so whats up with the hyper fighting version? I think the difficulty there is higher then in the original sf
+VasaaL I actually played _Street Fighter II Turbo_ (aka _Hyper Fighting_) on the SNES, and all twelve of the characters that featured in this game were all in that, and they all had their abilities tinkered with to even things out a bit, with many characters even gaining new moves (most notably Chun-Li gaining a fireball attack).
Guile was one of the few characters that was toned down in _Turbo_, as he was a bit too powerful in the original _SFII_ seen in this video.

Question, Saito: Have you ever tried the double Sonic Boom Re-Dizzy combo, featured in "Mastering Great Combinations and Strategies?"
If not, I wouldn't be surprised. The timing of the inputs is INSANE! Charging, throwing a low medium punch, followed by an immediate Sonic Boom. After that, Charge again immediately, throw a heavy punch, then an immediate Sonic Boom, followed by a heavy backhand. Pull it off right, and say goodbye to half the opponent's health! It's DEADLY!

Why is the "normal" ending playing when you beat the game on the hardest difficulty without using any continues, and not the special one?
