    Nice video.
Almost convinced me to try foiling again
Seems like quite a gear dependant sport
Pretty cool that you can custom chop fins

Best thing is you don't really need the latest and greatest honestly. Just pick up any small to medium sized mid aspect foil a 1-3 strut 7m kite and you will probably have fun. I think Kite foiling is probably the least particular foil sport.

It's the standard length, not the short one.

What’s your weight? And at how many knot do you switch from the 9 to the 7?

I weigh 87KG. It depends if I'm riding with straps or not and how steady the wind is. I use the 9m up to about 12knots unstrapped and more if I'm strapped. If I'm unstrapped I like to use as small a kite as possible without having to constantly work it. If possible I will ride the 4m Boxer whenever I can unstrapped.

Which kite will you use in 5-7knts with this foil setup?

Honestly I probably don't foil in real 5-7knots. But the biggest kite I foil with normally is a 9m Naish Boxer. If I can't get going with that I don't really think foiling is that fun most times as I don't like playing it safe incase you can't relaunch (just my opinion). Boxer 9m probably still goes in around 8knots though.
