Really enjoyed Joy and Sungjae’s run on the show for their chemistry and storyline. I think them leaning into “we became idols and trainees so young that we didn’t get to experience normal dating” story really humanized the experience of the show.

I always had a theory about this show: Every idol/ actor on WGM were already dating someone in real life. To cover it up, they put them on this show. To ease people into thinking their faves were dating in general.
This happened with the famous couple 'Khuntoria' (FX Victoria and 2PM Nickhun). He was actually dating SNSD Tiffany at the time he was on the show. Around 2010. Same with Clazziquai's Alex and actress Shin Ae. Right when the show ended, she got engaged to her real life partner.
@@solasluna192 Exactly, that's why I think the show was a pretty smart business deal for the agencies. Sadly the idols/actors didn't always get off that great because of the show

Why were people upset that the cast were dating in their real lives? And why were people calling it "cheating", like omg? I understand that it may have been promoted as a reality show, but it clearly isn't so I don't get why people were so sensitive about it.
The celebs sign a contract which says they aren't allowed to date IRL throughout the duration of the show being filmed/aired. This is commonly done on dating shows and reality shows so viewer immersion isn't broken
I was just thinking about this. This show is very much acting. You're not cheating if you're acting in a movie or TV show so how is this show any different?
because lots of kpop fans are emotionally immature teenagers who think idols belong to them. they don't understand boundaries like adults do/have too much time on their hands to spread rumors and hate online
Nah they feel "Cheated" because the celebs agree to be on the show with the premise that they're currently single. The whole point of the show is to paired them up with someone and begin a "fake marriage" with them. It's a reality tv show so obviously people would be upset if they find out it's not "real" and the cast is already dating someone irl.
Something people don’t know/forget about the first season of We Got Married is that Hyundon was already paired in a fake marriage before Taeyeon. His first “wife” on the show was closer to his age and he was SO MEAN to her constantly! He was always yelling and barking her around. Saori was only four years younger. People watching the show and the other “couples” felt bad for her. They basically ended the “marriage” early. Then he got paired with a 19/20 year old that was more famous (Taeyeon) and did a 180 degree turn. Suddenly he was all giddy about the show, actively participating more and wasn’t such a grouch.
@@brennathecatlover4360 Hyundon is actually kind of known to be rude and mean to people, He was a host on weekly Idol a few years ago, If you look at old episodes you'll see how mean and kind of abusive he is, one example is he hit Blackpink's Jennie so hard with the toy hammer she said she felt dizzy and her vision went dark.

I loved We Got Married but it really was the cause for so many fan wars & hate. I'm a Shawol & I was horrified by some people in my fandom, especially when Taemin & Naeun were featured
I will NEVER be over Taeun couple. This show will never be able to happily comeback when we have fans that send death threats to idols just cause they looked at each others for a millisecond
Literally watched it just for Solar and Eric. I loved them together. So sad that fans/antis had to be so toxic and hateful to ruin such a beautiful thing. I believe they could’ve really been good friends but they couldn’t even talk to each other anymore. It literally makes Eric visibly uncomfortable to talk about Solar and WGM.
It's really funny that people got mad at cue cards and scriptwriters. Every show, even documentaries, have script beats they have to hit to show the story of the program you are literally watching. Great video! Reality shows are fun, but when people take them to extreme levels it's really toxic.
I didn’t watch WGM but I remember that episode where Eric got so nervous even mentioning Solar on the podcast. They didn’t deserve the hate 😢. With that said, if MBC ever brought the show back, I’d suggest one of two changes: 1. Rebrand the show as a romcom (something that’s clearly scripted). Maybe turn it into a parody of the original but either way it’s clear from the start that the couples are not real (meaning no “cheating” scandals if a cast member is in a relationship with someone outside of the show and less backlash overall). Or 2. Just make the show about REAL celebrity couples. I would rather see k-celebs be happy in genuine relationships than in fake ones. I know that toxic kpop and kdrama stans aren’t ready for that but a girl can dream 😩.
I was aware of this show back in the day (Kpop fan since 09 babyyyy) but I never watched it. The concept was whatever to me (I'm an American, weird reality show concepts don't phase me anymore) but it really weirded me out how seriously everyone seemed to take the fake marriage. If you did a show with this concept in America, it would be pretty much understood from the jump that it was all fake and scripted and we're just here to have a fun time. I was not used to the kind of sincerity this show created around it. Idk if that says more about American culture than it does about We Got Married but it was weird all the same.
As far as the cheating allegations go, if the claims of the idols having to sign a essentially saying they aren’t dating someone are true, I wouldn’t be surprised if they got pressured to sign regardless. Whether it was MBC or their company, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to think that some idols were coerced into signing for financial reasons, publicity, or to not jeopardize they’re actual relationship or career.
In the case of joy and sungjae, i feel the fans of the couple in the program were so intense. It got to the point that i remember them linking a lot of btob and sungjae songs about their "relationship", or making comments about them even years after on their group lives. It was a little too much.
I was always pretty neutral with We Got Married. I'd watch some clips when there were idols I liked on the show but never bothered to watch the full-length episodes. But after Taemin and Naeun, I kind of started resenting WGM. Not because of the show itself but because of the hate they got during the period that they filmed. I was so scared that other idols would get the same treatment or worse if they went in the show. Anyway, I don't think this show would survive long with 4 gen idols.
I really liked Taemin and Naeun’s chemistry, and I was super sad to see them end early and get a lot of hate from anti-fans. There’s still Taeun shippers these days who post “proof” that they still like each other (or are secretly still dating) but have to avoid each other because of the anti-fans. But tbh all these proofs to me look like two people who had a bad falling out. I don’t understand how the fear of anti fans can last to this day, but from what Eric said, I guess it can last a long time.
I loved this show! Key and [I forgot her name. The beautiful Japanese model] was cute! Taemin and Nauen were cute too! Joy and Sungjae's. So many memories!
I enjoyed Taecyeon from 2PM and Taiwanese singer/actress Gui Gui’s season! There was a scene where they were having dinner with Taec’s bandmates and they were watching a kiss scene she previously did and everyone was freaking out lmao
tbh i miss WGM. i really love goguma couple & jokwon-gain. i don't think WGM now will be possible since more fans now are very protective with their idols. 😔 but i do miss & enjoy this show, wether it was scripted or not.
Tbh my fave couple was Yumi and JJY… which is where I fell in love with him. He was so unapologetically immature against a really sweet and tolerant Yumi. So, his scandal really shocked me. A close second is the First Love rship of Taemin & Naeun. omggggggg these two babies were the only couple I really wanted to date IRL. The show is obvs a variety show and only meant for entertainment, but only these two… I would sacrifice my rib cage for them.
One of my favorite couples was Song Jae rim and Kim so eun. I think the show could be done again because it was a fun concept but they would have to make it know that it’s fake and shouldn’t be taken seriously. I just genuinely liked watching them have fun
I actually really enjoyed this show in its earlier seasons. Mostly because for the interactions and how it gave a different look on idols dating and such. Ofc they aren’t actually dating but as someone said earlier, it was a good way for idols to experience “dating” since most of them never got the chance to. Unfortunately fans were being immature. But I think it was good at that time to have it. Now I don’t think it would work. I mean idols get bashed for just LOOKING at another idols direction. No way they are going to be hate free if they continue the show today.
Yonghwa and Seohyun are my favorites from the show! And as for a reboot or a similar type of show, I think it has potential to be successful as long as they try a different format. But hate from fans will always exist, because a lot of Kpop fans can't stand the idea of two idols dating each other.
My fave couple and the only reason why I watched it was Hong Jinyoung and Namgoong Min. I knew from watching all their episodes that the show followed a structure or basic script but I do believe that the reactions and decisions are all spontaneous or as real as the couple wanted it to be. I also watched a few of Jonghyun and Yura's episodes since they were paired almost at the same time as Jinyoung and Min. You can already sense that it was all business for Jonghyun, Yura tried to be more natural but she can only do so much. But they were still entertaining to watch compared to some couples or at least some participants who I found too contrived and were too "fake" for the lack of a better term. Ironically, almost all the couples who seemed to really hit it off on the show and who really had a potential to make it real after the show (like Solar and Eric/ Jinyoung and Min) ended up the exact opposite... no longer communicating and were not able to even build a casual friendship after they left the show. Would I be interested if ever they air this show again? Well I probably would watch if it featured a fave celeb of mine. Otherwise, nope. 😁 Edit: I recently have binged on all the episodes of Eric Nam and Solar. I also enjoyed it very much. They're not as bold or intense as Jinyoung and Min, and TBH theirs didn't feel like a marriage but more of 2 people starting to date, but I liked how their "relationship" flowed smoothly. They were one of the more "natural" pairings. And again, too bad the fans ruined it for them.
I'll lowkey miss that show Taeun 4 life, lol. But thanks god it's not around anymore, imagine the hate they got times 10x by today's standard. Side note, but I'm still baffled to this day that Nam Nation and MooMoo did that to each others faves, those are both so chilled fandoms, minding their business and never bothering someone. It's still unbelievable to me, even as someone who was around at that time.
Because the nam fandom didn't understand why solar wasn't smitten with their fav lmao. Everything died down but when eric revealed that Solar didn't give him her number(she changed numbers as soon as the show was over lmfaooo) and he couldn't contact her, his fans were mad and started saying sht about her.
I watched 3 couples. Yongseo, Solim and Sungjoy. For me it's just like normal drama with lesser script so I don't understand why fans were so mad. YongSeo were still friends after the show bec they were seen talking and mc-ing together. Solim too recently were seen hanging out at Japan. I'm not sure about SungJoy but I guess they are not awkward since they shoot cf together. I'm thankful some couple I watched are still friends bec most cast just pretend the show didn't happen to prevent hates.
I actually really liked this show, it introduced me to so many celebrities I might have otherwise not taken an interest to. So sad that toxic fans couldn’t see the fun in it. I personally would get super giddy seeing my bias be lovey dovey and romantic lol.
I started watching WGM before getting into fandom culture so it was pretty enjoyable for me (sans a few couples), my fav were Victoria and Nichkhun While I would love to see WGM comeback I doubt it will go over well in fan spaces so it's probably not for the best.
I used to watch WGM since the beginning. Of course, the concept is a bit odd but they all respect one another and this allows artist to interact with one another. Some are very hilarious. I wish fans didn't attack them. I was always wondering why Eric and Solar seemed to avoid talking about each other and scare to interact to the max. I missed the ep of why their ep ended so quick. They didn't even get so romantically so I'm suprised to hear that they got so much hate it crazy. Love all of these couples that mention. Ha! Of course Taeyeon would b better with another match but I guess she was so famous then it would be hard to cast and don't get hate. The fans becomes even more toxic now than why this type of show would never be able to make it if it debuted now.
I started watching this show on late 2014. The younger couples feels straight out of wattpad fanfic, it was pretty cringy. But I enjoyed watching the more mature couples. The mature couples feels more real, they "acted" like they were trying to build connection with their partner rather than catering to the imagination of their fans.
This show definitely would not be able to exist today. Fandoms were already a toxic ass mess, so imagine this with 4th gen fans. Especially since a lot 4th gen idols rn are minors
@@neb.9489 I mean I'm just saying that there's more than enough 18+ idols in 4th gen groups, so it can work. They won't be that dumb to add minors to the sho. It can work. Fans are just too obsessed now more than ever
Idk why we say 4th gen fans are too sensitive. Like the whole reason we don't have interacts like this today is because of the crazy reactions during the early generations.
key n arisa where so cute :(( also victoria n nichkhun :(( but taem n naeun will always be my fave ;; also that one with leeteuk, ide remember the girl i just know they where cute
I never cared for the show as I thought that it puts celebrities and very awkward and really stupid and dumb situations just to have the ppl judge them or criticize them if they do get married or in a relationship in the future..... It's like the return of Superman... I loved it first and thought innocently enough about it, but when you see the children running errands alone or crying because their parents played terrible jokes on them, Im gob- smacked and think it's cruel and only for ratings.
@@brennathecatlover4360 true but making kids cry for content isnt an admirable thing. return of superman was literally just about celebrity fathers actually spending time with their kids properly. donno how they lost such a simple plot.
It’s a reality show, a form of scripted entertainment, it’s not real, their not actually a couple or married so what does it matter if their dating someone else offscreen, now if the onscreen pair developed real feelings for each other then I see how them seeing someone else offscreen would be a problem but if there’s no feelings involved and their just doing what they have to for the show then I don’t see what there’s controversy about, I never took this show to heart or took it to be real but just saw it as cute entertainment so idk why their was so much controversy with it except the age difference thing I’d feel a bit uncomfortable with someone way older than me too but that’s about it
I got into kpop back in 2012 and I remember being sooooo confused about the show. I could not wrap my head around the concept but this makes me feel like rewatching bc those were the years I was a hard core kpop fan
I actually enjoyed the some episodes from the program, some couples were really cute and funny but I'll always have a special love for Khuntoria couple
My friend was a fan of the couple Sungjae and Joy so I tried watching it once in 2018. I really like Jin Young and Min together, they were realistic for me (they were awkward at first but became closer and closer as the show goes on). Sadly, I think this show caused the two of them to completely cut off each other. I wish they could stay even as casual friends but that’s selfish.
bro i got to know about this show like few minutes ago and was confused about the whole thing and i found this video which was posted almost an hour ago wahh!!!
This is my opinion about WGM. Many of these celebrities work together, see each other, support one another, born same year, friends, even was each other fans due to debuting, etc. This show I felt like it was a curse to many celebrities because due to the many expectations from the staffs and producers to the netizens and fans as well. This cause many celebrities to lose the friendship, the bond they slowly build with each other while working together.
I remember absolutely loving this show when it was on the air. It blows my mind that people can be so pressed about idols dating, especially when they were on WGM. Like cmon, be for real, it's a fake marriage, it's not that deep
When I first got into kpop/kdramas, Yonghwa (CNBLUE) would've probably been considered my ult bias; so, of course, I watched his WGM eps when I heard about it. It felt... odd to watch the eps. Like I was intruding on something private that was none of my business but also moments of feeling like "that didn't feel authentic". But, after a while, I just got used to it and viewed it like a kdrama that used a fictional version of a real person (like EXO's EXO Next Door)~^.^
We Got Married was great. i used to really enjoy it but it could never survive in the kpop world today. Kpop fans are so toxic now that they have destroyed just about everything fun about kpop. in a minute we won't have nothing left. This show was just for fun and should of been promoted that way and seen that way. people are weird. but i watched a lot of couples especially in the earlier days of WGM. it was fun as hell. this is way kpop 09-12 era is the best era. Social media wasn't crazy yet, we was still in the best era of kpop music, and everything was a vibe. even with the toxic crap that was going on then. the good outweighed the bad. Can't say the same now. Idols can't even make eye contact with the opposite sex.
I don't get why it's different now, idols would get hated on in 1st and 2nd gen and they would still interact and yet now 4th gen they act like they'll be caught in a scandal if they speak publicly to the opposite sex

I really dont get why eric and solar being problematic for the fans. Were eric doing something that wrong to solar? Were solar mistreating eric? No right? It's just stupid to hate on them. They were both respectful, being supportive to one and each other. There's literally no absolute reason to make a fuzz out of it.
My favourite couple was SiSo from season 4... they just absolutely charmed my socks off, especially the first 2/3rds of their episodes... that last two episodes they were on, you could already tell they knew it would end, and the vibe was off, but before that I really felt like I was watching them fall in love in real time... it was great!
The most unhinged couple on the show was Seo inyoung and Crown J. They were highly entertaining but also controversial too. If they were on the show today, Seo inyoung would definitely be cancelled.
There were numerous rumors at the ime(don’t know how realistic) that most participants were or queer or in relationships, so they might have been pressured into participating in the show. Honestly I only watched a few couples and it’s clear it was mostly scripted and definitely fake, just entertainment. I think most of the toxicity came from certain participants but mainly from the public and fans, like, cheating? 😂 it was just a show, not real dating
You forgot the early, very popular couple Leeteuk and Sora. It looked like Leeteuk fell in love with her on the show but she didn't reciprocate his feelings. Shortly afterward it was revealed that she was dating someone else, whom she may have already known during the show, but fans kept shipping them and kept hoping. When she broke up with her boyfriend several years later they were rumours that she was actually dating Leeteuk - and surprisingly this was confirmed by SM, but didn't seem to get much attention anymore outside die hard fans. Oddly nothing seems to have come of it and nothing was heard about it since. Btw, personally I don't care one way or another what idols do in their private lives, as long as they are happy it's fine with me. :)
I find it insane people want these celebrities in these fake marriages to be "faithful" to their pretend spouses....what? These people are psycho. I really feel for these idols that are mostly not allowed to date because of these crazies.
They also made things awkward for the idols as not all of them were trained actors and sometimes they we’re supposed to ad lib and kiss and do stuff since the show was like part scripted part unscripted and you could tell they weren’t always comfortable & plus it’s being filmed and cameras but they were very young some of them and felt pressured.
This is the problem, people don’t seem to understand the show is just that a show. It’s like acting. They aren’t actually dating each other or living together. They film it and make it seem like reality tv when it isn’t. No wonder young fans get confused. It’s not cheating if they have a relationship outside of the show because they understand it’s a job. Although perhaps real feelings could develop from spending time together.
I saw someone on twitter once talking about the possibility of a WGM type of show except instead of two celebrities being paired together, its a celebrity and their fan... and honestly that concept could either be extremely entertaining or extremely toxic, it could really go either way lmao
I miss Eric and Solar together. I hope the haters would just move on and let them be. They're so good together. So cute together. I really wish they could date in real life. I hope they get back to each other at some point.
i feel like this was peak korean entertainment industry behaviour , like "yeah we're fine with showing AND encouraging a couple of idols dating AS LONG AS we can broadcast it, but if they happen to date in real life we'll make their lives hell" like make it make sense. In my opinion a great reality show would be having a bunch of idols/actors/etc to send applications and then spin a roulette where a group of them (maybe 8-10 people) have to spend a week living together; just let them relax, drink, talk and get to know each other, after that week a new group of people is selected and so on, that would be fun to see.
Tbh wgm was cringy af. It was heavily scripted. Some (Irene * cough* solar) seemed like forced to do it. Most looked staged/not natural. Joy and sungjae were cute tho
It great show i watch gain with jokwon, really happy, yonghwa & seohyun. Great taemin with naeun. Great got to see their enjoy their time. I think is not script. Just direction like running man.
sucks that Yura and Jonghyun were pulled off right after fully getting comfortable with each other. especially since Nana and Jonghyun were always open about just being good friends.
someone should explain to me what is wrong with them dating outside the show since it’s not a dating show per se but a funzie show to enjoy watch a fake couple of idols getting married ? like it’s not Love is Blind or something like that where you go to find love… so I don’t understand. I know the dating culture there for idols is… something else but even so, why h@te on someone for dating outside of the show ? they ship them so much that they don’t want their dreams to be crushed or they want them to eventually fall in love during the show ? (I am not shading anyone, I genuinely want to understand if there is any answer to this 😅)
I think the show could be a really fun concept but I don’t understand why fans got mad ppl had actual relationships outside the show? The marriages aren’t actually real so it’s not cheating
I'm one of those who watched it since season 1. NGL at first i thought they're going to be a real couple (my first ship was Andy x Solbi) until i realized that it's just a show. variety at that.. because lots of kpop fans are emotionally immature teenagers who think idols belong to them. they don't understand boundaries like adults do/have too much time on their hands to spread rumors and hate online
@@melody3014 if you're an adult you wouldn't get upset about stuff like that because you have like a job and real problems
U know it could’ve been scripted too since most shows are
@@brennathecatlover4360 Hyundon is actually kind of known to be rude and mean to people, He was a host on weekly Idol a few years ago, If you look at old episodes you'll see how mean and kind of abusive he is, one example is he hit Blackpink's Jennie so hard with the toy hammer she said she felt dizzy and her vision went dark.

@@brennathecatlover4360 yeah, him being nice was scripted. Second gen fans know him to be very mean
The Taeyeon and Hyung Don pairing is so off-putting. I can't believe that they promoted it by showing her watching him as a young child. Gross.
I mean if she was uncomfortable she could’ve just left she wasn’t forced to join the show
@@brennathecatlover4360 She was a young woman in a contract… I don’t think SM would’ve cared if she was uncomfortable or not. They aren’t really known for treating their idols the best anyway…
I see something in her eyes everytime it gets brought up even now. Thankfully no one really brings it up.
Ikr Im still in disbelif of what I just watch 😭😭
I loved We Got Married but it really was the cause for so many fan wars & hate.
I'm a Shawol & I was horrified by some people in my fandom, especially when Taemin & Naeun were featured
I will NEVER be over Taeun couple.
This show will never be able to happily comeback when we have fans that send death threats to idols just cause they looked at each others for a millisecond
I agree. It was obvious that they loved each other.
I agree. there has to be some organization for the show. That does not mean that all of the scenes were fake or scripted.
I didn’t watch WGM but I remember that episode where Eric got so nervous even mentioning Solar on the podcast. They didn’t deserve the hate 😢. With that said, if MBC ever brought the show back, I’d suggest one of two changes:
1. Rebrand the show as a romcom (something that’s clearly scripted). Maybe turn it into a parody of the original but either way it’s clear from the start that the couples are not real (meaning no “cheating” scandals if a cast member is in a relationship with someone outside of the show and less backlash overall).
Or
2. Just make the show about REAL celebrity couples. I would rather see k-celebs be happy in genuine relationships than in fake ones. I know that toxic kpop and kdrama stans aren’t ready for that but a girl can dream 😩.
Totally agree with you about both cases❤
Her name was Yagi Arisa, iirc.
Loved this show though! The Seohyun and Yonghwa pairing was way too adorable!
Loved this show from this couple! At least after more than 10 years, they're still friendly to each other.
Khuntoria was hands down my favorite. The were on the show for almost a year i think.
Same here, I'm still hoping for a Khuntoria reunion.
I enjoyed Taecyeon from 2PM and Taiwanese singer/actress Gui Gui’s season! There was a scene where they were having dinner with Taec’s bandmates and they were watching a kiss scene she previously did and everyone was freaking out lmao
Omg I loved them! And when Hongki was serenading Mina, it was so cute!
My favorites were the fx and 2pm couple and mamamoo and Eric
tbh i miss WGM. i really love goguma couple & jokwon-gain. i don't think WGM now will be possible since more fans now are very protective with their idols.
Taemin regrets being on the show. For many years he had to tell people he and naeun never talked again or met.
I can imagine that he felt that way. She was such a sweet girl and did not deserve the toxic abuse from anti fans. They are full of jealousy.
Sungjae and Joy were my favorite. It was nice seeing them enjoy each other’s company. 😊
One of my favorite couples was Song Jae rim and Kim so eun. I think the show could be done again because it was a fun concept but they would have to make it know that it’s fake and shouldn’t be taken seriously. I just genuinely liked watching them have fun
I loved the show so much. I always looked forward to Saturday, it’s sad that it is not coming back
I actually really enjoyed this show in its earlier seasons.
Edit: I recently have binged on all the episodes of Eric Nam and Solar.
Did people think WGM was actually real?
People really complained it was scripted? Isn’t that the point?
I watched WGM since its first season. I still miss the show, it gives idols a chance to normalize dating.
My fav couple was Sunghwa and kwangee they were hilarious
Tbh, this show always creeped me out and was unsettling which is why I never watched it.
Same
I actually really liked this show, it introduced me to so many celebrities I might have otherwise not taken an interest to.
Taemin shinee and his partner is the best for me. i rewatch it again and again hahaa
Eric and Solar address the issues many times already to ask those fanatics and haters to stop
I'm sure they wouldn't put minors on there
@@LovelyKissess I know. That’s why I said it wouldn’t work now with 4th gen
Like the whole reason we don't have interacts like this today is because of the crazy reactions during the early generations.
if the management was focused on protecting the idols, i think it'd be really good in normalizing interactions/relationships within fanbases!
I watched WGM since from the very beginning. My favorite couple was the ssangchu couple. I still watch their clips to this day.
key n arisa where so cute :(( also victoria n nichkhun :(( but taem n naeun will always be my fave ;; also that one with leeteuk, ide remember the girl i just know they where cute
Me too..taemin and naeun is my favorite..
The kids are literally fine if u think them crying on camera shaking their real lives is abuse then u need to learn what that is😂
@@brennathecatlover4360 true but making kids cry for content isnt an admirable thing. return of superman was literally just about celebrity fathers actually spending time with their kids properly. donno how they lost such a simple plot.
It’s a reality show, a form of scripted entertainment, it’s not real, their not actually a couple or married so what does it matter if their dating someone else offscreen, now if the onscreen pair developed real feelings for each other then I see how them seeing someone else offscreen would be a problem but if there’s no feelings involved and their just doing what they have to for the show then I don’t see what there’s controversy about, I never took this show to heart or took it to be real but just saw it as cute entertainment so idk why their was so much controversy with it except the age difference thing I’d feel a bit uncomfortable with someone way older than me too but that’s about it
SOLAR & ERIC !!!
I feel so bad for the people who had to partake in this program ): The concept itself is just wrong.
THE HONEY COUPLE ♥
I miss We Got Married I Hope MBC entertainment Bring It Back
We Got Married was great. i used to really enjoy it but it could never survive in the kpop world today.
@@yohanedescends4683 Cancel culture is worse than the hate anyone got back then. Kids and narcissist are terrible these days and think the world and idols were made for them only
@@yohanedescends4683 Social media wasn't what it is today back than. idols could breath. just look at all the idols who have been kicked out of a group b/c of some random internet person talking about they was bullied, with NO proof. that sh*t wasn't happening in 2nd gen. The rage baiting is exhausting and its ALWAYS something. they didnt smile hard enough, bow low enough, walk like they care. Its ALWAYS something and it outweighs the good.
I really dont get why eric and solar being problematic for the fans. Were eric doing something that wrong to solar? Were solar mistreating eric? No right? It's just stupid to hate on them. They were both respectful, being supportive to one and each other. There's literally no absolute reason to make a fuzz out of it.
Jealous fans being delulu . I don't get why they're so angry when it's just a show .
My favourite pairing was kwanghee and sunhwa, they were hilarious!!
Solar and Eric Nam together is honestly the cutest but I think Solar's wife would have an issue with that.
3rd & 4th gen kpop fans could never handle shows like this!!! And this is exactly why I want it to come back
You forgot the early, very popular couple Leeteuk and Sora. :)
Terima kasih pada MBC we got married. Saya jadi mengenal Lee Taemin Shinee dan Son Naeun Apink 💚💖
Me too...and i love both of them..❤️❤️
I find it insane people want these celebrities in these fake marriages to be "faithful" to their pretend spouses....what?
These people are psycho. I really feel for these idols that are mostly not allowed to date because of these crazies.
Oh mheyn...i still remember first season of WGM and the OG couples 😅 i feel old
I'm sooo glad this show doesn't exist anymore 👍
They also made things awkward for the idols as not all of them were trained actors and sometimes they we’re supposed to ad lib and kiss and do stuff since the show was like part scripted part unscripted and you could tell they weren’t always comfortable & plus it’s being filmed and cameras but they were very young some of them and felt pressured.
I feel bad for lee joon and oh yeon seo 🥺❤️
KHUNTORIAAAAAAA
My favorite couple was def ANT Couple 🐜❤️
TY marriage was pure horror especially when they reenact her as a child.
It blows my mind how people would get upset over a fake show. They are never legally married.
I saw someone on twitter once talking about the possibility of a WGM type of show except instead of two celebrities being paired together, its a celebrity and their fan... and honestly that concept could either be extremely entertaining or extremely toxic, it could really go either way lmao
I volunteer as tribute to get Taemin. I’m not worried about anti fans I can fight 😂
Dude, It was a reality show. How could anyone think it was not scripted? Every reality show is scripted at least to a point.
I miss Eric and Solar together. I hope the haters would just move on and let them be. They're so good together. So cute together. I really wish they could date in real life. I hope they get back to each other at some point.
I love 2Young couple (Wooyoung and Seyoung)❤❤❤
i feel like this was peak korean entertainment industry behaviour , like "yeah we're fine with showing AND encouraging a couple of idols dating AS LONG AS we can broadcast it, but if they happen to date in real life we'll make their lives hell" like make it make sense.
For me I like song jae rim and Kim Seo Eun
They did Taeyeon dirty pairing her with Hyungdon. It was so awkward and uncomfortable to watch
I was heartbroken to what happened to Nick and Victoria . Lol. I was sooo dumbed then thinking that their relationship is real 🤔
Wooyoung & Seyoung and Eric & Solar were so cute tbh
Tbh wgm was cringy af. It was heavily scripted. Some (Irene * cough* solar) seemed like forced to do it. Most looked staged/not natural. Joy and sungjae were cute tho
It great show i watch gain with jokwon, really happy, yonghwa & seohyun. Great taemin with naeun. Great got to see their enjoy their time. I think is not script. Just direction like running man.
sucks that Yura and Jonghyun were pulled off right after fully getting comfortable with each other. especially since Nana and Jonghyun were always open about just being good friends.
This!! 😢
I understand that the age difference bothers you when the girl is between 18 and 20 years old, but 27?? I think that is exaggerating a bit.
someone should explain to me what is wrong with them dating outside the show since it’s not a dating show per se but a funzie show to enjoy watch a fake couple of idols getting married ? like it’s not Love is Blind or something like that where you go to find love… so I don’t understand. I know the dating culture there for idols is… something else but even so, why h@te on someone for dating outside of the show ? they ship them so much that they don’t want their dreams to be crushed or they want them to eventually fall in love during the show ? (I am not shading anyone, I genuinely want to understand if there is any answer to this 😅)
Favorite couple? I gots two!!!! Hwayobi and Hwanhee. Oh, and yonghwa and seohyun.
I think the show could be a really fun concept but I don’t understand why fans got mad ppl had actual relationships outside the show? The marriages aren’t actually real so it’s not cheating
The only couples that I watched were Adam and yonseo couple the only ones I could actually enjoy!
I'm one of those who watched it since season 1. NGL at first i thought they're going to be a real couple (my first ship was Andy x Solbi) until i realized that it's just a show. variety at that..
Since then, i only thought this show as one of dramas with real reactions. it's easier and more enjoyable to watch it with that mindset instead of expecting them to be real in the future and get angry when they're not.
p.s : my all time fav couple is Hong Jin Young & Nam Goong Min 😍
I really liked 2pm wooyoung and park seyoon. Their ending was probably the saddest.
