Hello. Thanks for the video. Now I have an Ortofon 2m blue thinking about buying this Rega ND3. Would I notice a big difference, a big improvement of imaging and detail over the Ortofon?
I think comparing the Blue to the Nd3 it would sound better in terms of Rega's priorities (pace, rhythm and timing), however you may find what you like about the blue in terms of sound stage and resolution a bit lacking, the Nd5 would be significantly bigger in terms of difference and upgrade and in my opinion (remember just my opinion) even better than a Ortofon Black.
@@cubdukat so far so good, didn’t have any issues. It’s been a great cartridge for our customers. If we experience any we will let ya know. IGD can be very annoying.
@@joeyshifishop Definitely. That's why I tend to avoid bonded ellipticals, but Rega seems to do a pretty good job with theirs. I'm debating whether to go for the new Evo 2 or a Planar 2, but if Rega were to make that the stock cartridge, I could definitely be swayed :) My only other concern would be that it would have to be retipped like a moving coil cart.
I love the exact , I hope the nd7 will be like a super exact ;)
We are super excited to get it in!

@@joeyshifishop Thank you sir for your reply and opinion. I shall do some more homework!
How's it perform as far as IGD is concerned?
