How to Straight Bar Lace Nike® AIR - xp

Shoelaces are a useful accessory, capable of transforming a boring pair of sneakers or running shoes into something fresh and unique.
This shoe lacing tutorial, using our elastic shoelaces, is for Straight Bar Lacing. This lacing style will give you straight horizontal bars with no underlying diagonals, which looks neater plus relieves pressure on the top ridge of the foot.
This style works best on shoes with an EVEN (6 or 8) number of eyelet pairs like the one we have in this video. Notice we have 6 pairs of eyelets in our demo.
There are instruction and videos we will post to show you workarounds for shoes with an odd number (7 or 9) of eyelet pairs.
