You basically answered my question as I was starting to ask it. I think my hair is long enough, but too uneven to try just yet. Love seeing this done in real time. I’ve been so curious. What would happen if you did use a mousse or some other product? I have only lived in the driest of dry climates and high altitude. I went to San Diego a few weeks ago and it was disastrous. I was putting in perm rods twice a day and had to carry a ponytail holder around. There has to be a anti-humidity spray that works. My family reunion is in Mississippi and my cousin who lives there told me - bring your bug repellent and your Afro. Not acceptable!
In my experience I've learned that any blown out style will not stand against humidity. But a wet set dried under a holder dryer with a good gel will last a bit longer.
Thank for sharing!! I'm late but not out I'm trying it and definitely using my Paul Mitchell's humidity serum. Will update you know I'm in Georgia seriously dangerous humidity on natural hair.❤❤❤
Hey beautiful, I saw this silk roller and ordered mine about a month ago. It was okay but I did not sleep good. I am a fan of the flexi rods for life! Great video though and I appreciate how you took the time to actually show the roll process. 🥰
This one looks tight with hard stuffing so probably hard to sleep, you should try our soft silk stuffed curler with a bow as well curling cross method not one way for better hold:)
Oh you look great, was my first time that I saw something different here in Italy.I order already from Amazon.I will try it soon Thanks for the video A nice quick style.
I mean, your timing couldn't be better. The ad just popped up in my Instagram and so I went straight to RUclips to search for (brand name) satin heatless curling set on natural hair. (Cause the site was clearly only showing people with hair NOT like mine. 😂) And here you are!!! Only 2 hours ago! So appreciate you 🙌🏽 And your hair is so pretty!!!
I've been wanting to try this but didn't want to waste my money on something else that didn't work, so thank you for the review.👍🏾 Now let me to see if it's in stock.🙆🏾♀️
I've seen it before but I was like nope not for me. But yours of course came out really good. Am I shocked no ma'am. I even like what you call fails lol
I can't say I did anything special to prevent it from being flat. But I have seen people use 2 rollers, one in the front and one in the back, and it has a fuller look with more curls.
I had no worries you are in your expertise zone. You know you are the rod guru..rod whisperer. I need help raising my hair she always act up when we go in public and here lately she has been acting up at home. Any pointers...lol can't wash and go can't rod I think I better try to master crochet styles probably going to be a fail but we shall see...lol
You didn’t sound like you liked it. But I think you should’ve had a smoother blow dry and maybe used a little cream to set the curls. But I think when she does it in her tutorials it’s on hair that is a few days old. I don’t think she ever does it on freshly washed blow dried hair. Yours was a puffy especially at the root.
The curls are beautiful, and definitely reminds me of how my flat twist out looks.
Oooh I wish my flat twists looked like this! Thank you!
I will say I get the absolute best curls when I use this product. Awesome heatless curls❤
Thank you so much!!
Potentially it can prevent damage from heat in the long run too. Ok am sold
Sold!! I'm all about less damage!
Thank you for doing this tutorial🙌🏽. I bought one about a month ago and have yet to use it😫. Yours came out great 💕
Thank you so much! Always nice to find a new quick style.
This result is amazing 🥰. The sheen and the bounce, it turned out great. I've seen so many people use this, but I haven't tried this.
I had to try it! I kept seeing it everywhere lol. Thank you!

That humidity be trying to take us out the game! 😂😂 How did it turn out??
Omg!!! It turned out great. Gorg!!!! I been failing at flexi rods, don’t give me a reason to buy this. I need simplicity in my life.
This is everything you need!! I just re-rolled it last night and it helps the style last longer

Anytime! I'm here to help! Thanks for watching! I'm doing a flexi rod set today myself!
Thanks for the video... Wanted to say how GORGEOUS your scarf was! Beautiful job on your hair!
Thank you so much!! I've kept that scarf for about 15 years lol
It looks great and so easy! No heat is on your hair is great!
It was easy and comfortable to sleep in too!
This one looks tight with hard stuffing so probably hard to sleep, you should try our soft silk stuffed curler with a bow as well curling cross method not one way for better hold:)
It’s cute!!! And only oil too? Cool
Ohhh I was skeptical when I first saw this product. I’m really nervous about this but I’ll give it a go

Nice results for a quick style 👏🏾
Thank you! Definitely quicker than a bunch of rollers.
I've seen it before but I was like nope not for me. But yours of course came out really good. Am I shocked no ma'am. I even like what you call fails lol

Thank you!@
Late to the party too, I just do this w a stretchy cotton head band tho.
I've seen people do that. How did it turn out?
Beautiful
Hello, that scarf looks good quality. Do you recall where you got it? Thanks.
A beauty supply store many years ago.
Easy 2 use nice result..😊
Thank you! It was definitely easy to catch on to.
So beautiful!!
Thank you!!
How long did it last? Did your curls fall?
I wrapped it again after the second day.
Please don't be ugly - girl!😂
Looks really soft. And yes, the back be gettin left behind literally.
lol!! Literally! It was really soft I was pleased. Thank you!
I wanna try it on an old twist out with setting lotion.
I wonder how it would turn out
You should try it! you never know! Thanks for watching!
See now…my roots definitely wouldn’t look like that! Lol
Lol!! Yes they would! It's all in the blow drying! You can do it!
Hers looked different because she had her haircut in layers. 9:55 I’m super late to the party, but better late than never!
I actually just got my hair cut in layers, but here I didn't have any cut layers. Better late than never is right!
or did you mean the girl who made this roller? It's late and I should be sleep lol!!
@@JasColoredCurls since you have the layers now, try it again! It should come out just like the other woman’s hair.
How do you keep it from being flat in the back?
I can't say I did anything special to prevent it from being flat. But I have seen people use 2 rollers, one in the front and one in the back, and it has a fuller look with more curls.

I was the twist out queen and did not know how to do a rod set. I eventually practiced and until I got it right. Acting up in public! 😂😂😂
@@JasColoredCurls 😳 there is no way that's true...lol your practice made you a guru...lol
@@jus-sayin it's true I promise!! Lol
So how long were you able to ware this style?
I kept it for a week. I would re-wrap it at night to keep the curls fresh
Rewatching this 🙂
Practice makes perfect! I recently tried it on straight hair, I probably should upload it! Thanks for watching.
🥰 GOOD JOB
Thank you so much!
Yassss😍
Thank you for watching!
Come on retro curls 💞💞💞💞

Thank you so much!!
Its the please dont be ugly prayer fa me 😂🎉🙏📿
😂😂😂😂
Wow!
Thank you so much!!
I bought it and tried still can’t figure out how to do it
I had to hold it in place pretty tightly the entire time to be successful. Keep trying!
Do these work on human hair weave?
Absolutely!! The company that makes this sells weave! 😉

It definitely was a little puffy
I did re-roll that night using a creme but it started making NY curls come back. I haven't taken it down yet though so we'll see.
I had one but threw it away, mine didn't bend well
Oh no! There was no way to fix it?
@@JasColoredCurls not sure but I'll have to buy another one, love the results you've gotten.
I don’t really care for the middle part. It will look cute with more hair to one side.
Thanks for the tip.
I just did a side part just for you on my Instagram 😁
Girl its not like hers cuz she had a silk press. This requires some heat manipulation before applying…either that or the cream crack
That is very true! Unfortunately I don't own flat irons.
