Duraflex on ebay -- was $200 when I purchased. www.ebay.com/itm/291602452932
Honestly not too bad fitment wise, some prep/sanding but they look awesome now.

I have an evo8MR that I’ve just started upgrading. Sadly when I bought it it had an Airtrek engine in it so I’m currently just using that. Mods are s1 cams, 850cc fic injectors, aem 340lph pump, 5454 turbo. Would love to hear any feedback you have for a noob who doesn’t know the ABC of tuning and has gone and bought these parts

sounds like you have purchased mods to address the shortcomings of the airtrek (more aggressive cams, bigger turbo, fuel support etc.) That's awesome. I would go soft on timing during your peak torque window. Given that you have a bigger turbo with a more delayed boost onset compared to stock, it should be easier on your engine.

@@supercarmio thanks man. You wouldn’t happen to do any remote tuning would you? Lol. Also since you clearly have more knowledge than I do how much hp do you think is safe on a setup like this with a stock block. I drive her daily

@@MrZainJ Np! Nah I don't. I would keep the torque around 330-350 lb-ft. HP wise I'd say 350 whp would be a good spot. You'll definitely want to have some conservative timing -- I'm a fan of not pushing too hard in general on that area. Being conservative should limit the stress on your rods/rod bearings and engine overall.

@@supercarmio wow that’s a truck tonne. I was actually thinking of keeping her between 350-400hp so 300-350whp lol
