Good tutorial, helps a person moving from Vegas to Resolve. Covers the important aspects of having only part of the video and multiple times needing the effect.
You fully deserve a comment from me, i looked all over the yt for an actual working method to track-blur stuff in davinci, and your vid is the only one ! Thank you Sir !
Instead of keyframing out the blur when it's not needed. You can click the frame button in the tracker window and just move it out of shot. Manually adding a keyframe to the tracked data.
thanks man. Need little bit more help. So i'm trying to blur Motorcycle number plate with Tracking in Color tab, during the tracking it sometimes loose number plate, so i key-stone right before that and manually move the tracker window (BOX) to new position and track again and place new keystone. However during this process, the previous tracking i did just before tracker lost, it's all messed up, it moved to new location that i manually did. Any tips here?? appreciate your work
You Sir are a f*cking Legend Ive spent 4hrs today trying to figure out how to do exactly what youre showing here through trial and error and other videos But only yours showed how to deal with mask going off the viewable area Thank you thank you thank you
This is killing me .... when the car moves i try to fix the box but it messes it's position from the beginning not from the key frame I want it to start
Blur still stays on screen.. Never goes away even with doing the exact method you showed.. I've literally done everything exact as you said. The blue just continues to stay on screen and the key points don't make it go away
I mange to figure out most of it by myself but, some of the parts you didnt explain well not anything bad but either they updated it or you changed something that I had to do differently
An alternative would be to place the play-head where it stopped to track properly, move one frame, select "Frame" (next to "Clip"), then put the power window outside the frame.
Bah, every time I have to deal with Resolve I fucking hate it. Doing simple things are so damn difficult. I literally just want to manually set tracking points because the auto tracker is shit. Edit: Found it. Set tracking to "Frame" instead of "Clip" and click the diamond below "Frame". If you want colour correction as well as blur, top right add a new corrector node and add your colour correction to that and hook up the green inputs/outputs to each other.
“We’re going to track forward. And there it goes.” Where’s the actual help? What buttons do I click? What are the steps? What did you do? I know it’s not your fault that I am watching the video on the iPhone, but if you’re expecting anybody to be able to see what you’re doing and just know what it is without seeing what you’re clicking on sorry I just I’m looking for helping this is exactly the subject I needed help on, but it was a useless video for me, as far as instruction goes and at the very very beginning, you had a couple of nodes up there and you said something like, “let’s get rid of those nodes.” how? why? what? What were they? How can you just delete nodes? That seems destructive. Off to try and find someone who will slow down for a relative newbie. This is only for people who already know exactly what they’re already doing.

How to colorize blur with car color? To reduce effect that something was even blured
Just what I needed to anonymize a name tag, thank you! Subscribe button pressed! (:0))
Damn good, thanks!
you are really amazing
for me global blend setting is the opposite. at 0 is no blur at 100 is 100% blur, so 0 is off and 100 is on. for you is the opposite why?
AWESOMENESS! LOVE IT. My videos just went up in AWESOMENESS!
