I would like to present the award of best bodybuilding podcast and podcast in general to the hoss on behalf of bodybuilders anonymous and the federation of youtube bodybuilding 💪💪💪 congrats fouad
Haha for real! I just finished the village one today before work! Now gotta start this on my lunch break now and finish tomorrow morning before training!
Matt hit the nail on the head you have been a bright spark in 2020 and have been a shining light in a dark year, the podcast has helped me through many tough and dark mornings through lockdown. Thankyou.
Gotta be honest matt really easy to understand about protocols training and dieting regimen .. 👌 and love how hoss throws questions exactly what would we ask from matt 💯 learned alot from this podcast 💪
phenomenal podcast! Def a Coach's segment would be awesome. getting to know these different coaches both their training philosophy and who they are personally. Solid stuff Fouad!
So good brother Matt talks so much sense and I love his attitude to keeping simple but so effective......and it was great for him to praise you for his final comment of the podcast 💪🏻
DUDE. My mind is blown by his statement about egg whites! I have been having really bad digestion problems this entire bulk and now I believe its from using egg whites! I had never used them in the past and then I stopped using them a week ago and my problems cleared up but I did not connect the dots until just now! fuck. Thank you Matt Jensen.
@@analogcrunch4716 your body cant properly digest either. heat denatures the egg protein and changes its structure so our body's can break it down easier. when you remove the cooking process, your body has a much tougher time to break down the complete raw egg protein
I love this shit! I could listen for hours to them talking about nutritional theory, anabolics, contest prep every time hoss puts up another podcast Im so excited.
Wish It was longer. Definitely can't wait to have him on again. A great guest suggestion is Aussie Pro Jake Nikolopoulos. He has a great story to tell!
Was at a seminar in 2000 with Kerry Kayes and Jon Hodgson. Blow up in the off season, no change at show time. Said the same about insulin then as you are now. Can’t believe people are still take it in 2021
What a great podcast. Nobody else comes close to delivering great content the way you do. I'm about to order me some Hostile t shirts to show and share my gratitude. Thank you Found.
Fouad's podcast is not just the very best podcast but what a quality education as well! Watch the podcast with Layne,,Brad Schoenfeld,Tuttle,Meadows and you will literally learn everything about bodybuilding you will ever need!
Dropping podcasts left and right. Gets me through work in the morning and ready for the gym at lunch. It’d be interesting to see Dr Mike Israetel, Matt mentioned him, on the podcast. He’s very intelligent and seems to get results but his training seems to be very different then typical pro (or even amateur) bodybuilders.
@@keenanbaldree6888 based on what? Personally I I don’t follow his training style because I don’t find it as enjoyable as others and have not stopped progressing on more traditional programs. That being said he’s like 5’6” and 220 lbs on stage so it obviously works reasonably well. He probably won’t ever be a pro or at a high level pro because of the way his body is put together. However, Jared Feather who trains with him and follows the same program style just won his classic pro card and will probably do very well because he’s got the genetics. Aside from his training everything else he seems to endorse is pretty much the same as every body builder, high protein with calorie deficit for weight loss, high carb lower fat moderate protein bulking, etc. Nothing crazy with any of that.
Dorian Yates said he used insulin only before his last competitive year (1997). He said he definitely put in more size but that he never thought it was quality size. Basically what yall were saying.
I love those highly informative podcasts with great trainers:) I hope to see some day Mike Israetel in your podcast. Yes, sometimes he's a bit cocky and like "I know better than anyone" but he's truly smart beast, we can't deny it. This guy knows how to combine advanced training and nutrition science with simply hard work. But for some beginners and not only beginners, his science may seem to be a bit to complicated.
Imagine getting to spend one entire 8 hour day with a journeyman pro bodybuilder like Fou, with 20 years experience in honing his craft. I would hit record and video every single minute for future reference and I would have so damn many questions that he would be counting the minutes until he got to the end of that 8 hours. LOL! 😁 You could cut so much time off of your learning curve if you could do that for just one day.
my reps to 3 is go and do 12-15 reps then the last 3 on a shoulder press i hold the weight low then push up and hold the weight high then back down low hold it for 3 reps
What's the best way to train when at home? Currently doing push pull legs off upper lower and training to failure on most sets. I have access to a pull up bar, resistance bands and a 20kgs of dumbell. Should I be training all sets to failure or still train with a 8-12 rep range as if I was at a gym?
Fouad, I havent taken a pre work out in 4 months and honestly I don't miss it. Im just over the caffeine and stims and think its more harmful than good. I do make my own intra workout. I mix amino acids, powdered Gatorade, and some dextrose. I love it but I thought about trying your bloodshot supp as a pre workout. Tell me why your product will improve my workouts. Thanks man. Love the podcast
You can identify failure based on rep cadence. If someone isn't stuck at the midrange of the last rep for 2-5 seconds, they had more to give. Only Scott Stevenson and Jordan Peters are nailing this on a consistent basis in their training videos. I'm not saying others don't, but it seems like sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't. It tends to vary. The goal of the set could also be different though.
I would like to present the award of best bodybuilding podcast and podcast in general to the hoss on behalf of bodybuilders anonymous and the federation of youtube bodybuilding 💪💪💪 congrats fouad

Nays one kababayan
Matt seems like the kinda guy that doesn't get asked to speak openly very often, but when he can, he's an open book. I heavily relate to that
Love hearing from different coaches. Great show, bro. I know two guys who have used him and loved him

Question did you try pasteurized liquid egg whites or are u cracking real eggs and removing yolks??
My Gorilla farts stopped stright away when I cut out egg whites.

Matt sounds like such down to earth and humble guy. Really enjoyed this one.
Love the part about wasting time on social media
I used insulin for 2 days and the lower back pumps were so bad I couldn't train. 1 set of leg extensions and my quads felt like they would pop
Your gift in interviewing others perfectly fits proverbs 20:5 ( Bible)
