At least for this course, New Season looks more alive with the lit up signage here and there. I noticed the color of the sky is a little bit more blue compared to the original one as well. Which makes it feel like its set at an earlier time before full sunset because of it.
Yeah, I think 2019's correct. I think it was cracked ages ago (the new season that is), but it's been kept private for ages - maybe so it's not getting released too soon whilst the bona fide arcade cabinet's still doing the rounds).
It’s awesome that SEGA continuously released updates over the course of three years for Daytona Championship USA (2017 - 2019). It shows that the team really cared about this game, even if its initial reception was mixed. While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, DCU is an awesome game that has provided some of the greatest experiences in an arcade, and I hope SEGA uses what they have as a basis for the next best thing for this franchise (Maybe a sequel with remastered tracks/cars from Daytona 2? One can hope).
FFB feels improved with this one compared to the original Championship USA release. I used to have some strange issues with my Fanatec wheel rocking back and forth on its own but not noticing it with this one as far as I can tell.
Nice, was wondering what the graphical differences were. Some nice touches to this track. Now you just need to do the same treatment with the other tracks!
@@SuperSZ Holy shit, SuperSZ - that's a blast from the past! How're you doing? The classic Hornet is in the game, but each track has specific cars and liveries attached, which vary depending on whether you choose MT or AT. The differences are purely cosmetic though, all the cars handle like the classic Hornet.
@MrThunderwing hey dude! I'm doing fine thankfully (I'm from Argentina, so we are currently under some major changes that will hopefuly be for the best). How are you doing? Thanks for your answer 😊. I'll try this game as soon as I get some time 😅
Nice video. I was wondering when you would make a side by side comparison. Got this edition now, and it seems easier to play. Live camera works well too. Keep up the good work MrThunderwing.
Great video comparison. Have you been able to successfully link 2 games together for multiplayer? I played around with files last night but could never get it to link up. Curious to know if others in the community had better luck with it.
I haven't. The only other PC I've got is my Barcade, which isn't powerful enough to just this. I believe other people have successfully got the old season networked up with no issues though
AL, I got hold of the NSE but when I run the game I get a Unsupported CRC". I have selected Daytona.exe as my executable in the TP UI. Any guesses what went wrong?
No idea I'm afraid, I've not come across that error before. Sounds like it might be something on your PC not playing nicely with it. Have you tried Googling what that error means? Might give you a bit more info to go on.
hello. what is ur system? screen is always freezing after choose course in my case on AMD+Radeon systems. if radeon is problem, i wanna change my GPU. it's trouble maker ;(
Hey mate just a heads up ive almost been hit with a copyright strike on these new edition daytona 3 videos , just watch your gmail space out if a warning report just incase strikes appear anytime like . !
One obvious thing I can think of is to check your antivirus isn't deleting stuff out of your game folder. I use Windows defender, and unless I specifically highlight the folder with all the Daytona stuff in as a 'rule exemption' it surreptitiously deletes essential things from it, thinking they're Trojan viruses (they're not). Something else to try is running Teknoparrot in Administrator mode. Super GTI always crashes on startup for me if I don't. If those don't work maybe try looking at your monitor settings, maybe try fiddling with resolution and the reshe rate, check you're definitely using your GPU and the PC's not defaulting to integrated on board graphics settings.
@@Leedleleedle101 Have you got the right input method selected for your controller in the TP UI? Xinput for a 360 pad (and I believe Xbox 1 one's) Dinput for literally everything else.

Hey bud! Yeah, the handling feels better. I put some info about it it in the description, here's what I said: The biggest gameplay improvement I noticed, and much more in-line with the old Model 2 game, was that the cars no longer lose tons of speed if you accidentally clip a wall. That's a big improvement! It makes the game feel much more authentically Daytona and improves the flow of gameplay - that was really only my biggest issue with the old season version of the game, which I otherwise thought was very close to how the Model 2 Game played. I haven't tried getting FFB working yet, which Boomslang, mentioned was a big improvement over the previous version of Championship USA.
