His main bodies of roles was from the 60s to the 80s although his first roles began in 56 until his last film in 2012, I personally view him more like the japanese Clint Eastwood as he was from the same generation as him although your comparisons also are pretty good.
Bro hell nah , actually ruined the reaction for me , the vibes ain’t scary at all she should be able to catch that already, I reckon she barely understood this whole episode and I’m not hating , just a criticism .
Ultimately, Dandadan is basically just a romantic comedy mixed with a shounen battle and with horror/ sci-fi. The manga is absolutely nuts, but the story stays grounded by focusing mostly on the characters themselves and their relationships with each other.
Ken Takakura is a representative actor of Japan, akin to Clint Eastwood in the United States. The line “I am an awkward fellow, after all” from a life insurance commercial became incredibly popular, to the point where almost everyone, young and old, knows it. If you’re interested, he appears in Ridley Scott’s “Black Rain,” which I recommend you watch.
I caught up with the manga in the days following the first episode and I kid you not, this genuinely climbed up to become one of my favorite series ever.
Ken Takakura is an very famous Japanese actor from the 60's to the early 2000's. It's basically like a present-day American girl having a crush on Clint Eastwood and fantasizing about him.
To get newbies into one piece have them watch the live action... it's a great intro into the fandom. I've personally gotten so many of my close friends and family in this past year through the live action 😅 several of which have almost caught up completely already
So, my favorite anime couple for the longest time has been Mai & Sakuta from Bunny Girl Senpai. Okurun & Momo are giving them a run for their money. Just great chemistry between the characters.
What did I say what did I say! The day started. Read the whole manga in a day And yes Ken Takakura is a famous Japanese actor. This was way better than I could ever expected.
After these first couple episodes I started reading the manga and the whole series is just non-stop like this episode which is amazing. Think of Ken Takakura as Japanese Clint Eastwood...
In Voice actors/actress , i recognize Luffy's voice actress for the Granny ghost , Frieza (DBZ) voice actor for one (or two) of the 3 aliens , Zoro voice actor for the third Alien.
You know what now that I really think about this is probably the most accurate portrayal of High School that I've seen in a tv show just really think on I'm pretty sure that most of us if not all of us grew up around psychopaths who dictated their actions based off of what their peers and girls think that said cursed super powers in exchange for my meat Hell no take them back!
4:46 Just a thought, if the one piece remake ever comes out it might be a good reaction for you guys. A retelling story for Prez and a new adventure for Cara
I hate saying this but the eng dub voice acting is just as stacked if not more so then the Japanese… they Rita from mighty morphing power rangers the voice turbo granny! I highly recommend then Eng dub I think it’s actually better then the Japanese….
Occult-kun(Demon Slayer:TANJIRO ) Turbo Granny(One Piece:LUFFY) By the way, Serpo the alien is One Piece:ZORO. The voice actors in this anime are amazing.
There is the info actual Dan da Dan is set in One-punch-man World or Mob psycho 100 i don't remember anymore. The Tunnle is actually based on a urban legend and you can see the same in mob psycho 100. "I am an awkward fellow, after all" is a sentence that Ken Takakura really in a movie said. Did Cara just say Kurwa? xD
It’s not set in the same universe as OPM or MP100. It’s not even the same mangaka so why would they be in the same universe? The haunted tunnel is just a real life urban legend just like everything else in this anime. Things like the Flatwoods Monster and even Turbo Granny herself are real urban legends.
@@RoflCannon6 Yesterday i found some comment about it and it was highly thumps up so i guess it could probably right. it doesnt need to be the same mangaka oO. The Mangaka was as an assistant working for someone i forget with 3 other and all 4 assistants actually now do there own creations.
@@fjoergynthe author used to be fujimoto assistant (csm) but no definitely not related to OPM or Mob 100. All these spirit and ghost are just common Japanese urban legend a lot of other horror/ghost anime with these same stuff just different names or way of portrayal
Mr. Ken Takakura. A man that other men look up to. He has won the Japan Academy Award for Best Actor four times. His 1977 award-winning work "The Yellow Handkerchief" is a beloved masterpiece. I'm glad to see the scenery of Hokkaido, Japan at that time. I also like his 1999 award-winning work "Poppoya / Railwayman." Poppoya ruclips.net/video/GvjrgDjOunw/видео.htmlsi=NvaRy2xvpyvcyVUR

ken takakura is a japanese actor. a legend himself. the main character is just have the same name
Just a kid with the name of a famous actor
The Clint Eastwood of japan :D
* A real life Japanese Actor, just to clarify. Of course has since passed away, he died in 2014.
Takakura Ken is a famous Japanese action star from the 80s. Basically the Japanese equivalent of David Hasselhoff or Sylvester Stallone.
His main bodies of roles was from the 60s to the 80s although his first roles began in 56 until his last film in 2012, I personally view him more like the japanese Clint Eastwood as he was from the same generation as him although your comparisons also are pretty good.
Most English speaking audience would have seen him in Mr. Baseball and recently in Bullet Train.
More like Japan's version of Clint Eastwood in my opinion.
I was laughing at Cara more than the show. Lol
I feel like Caras reaction is what the author was going for when he wrote the manga, and it's great watching her freak out 🤣
Bro hell nah , actually ruined the reaction for me , the vibes ain’t scary at all she should be able to catch that already, I reckon she barely understood this whole episode and I’m not hating , just a criticism .
@@A49926The vibes are absolutely scary, especially for what was happening to Momo.
Dan Da Dan is the kinda show you could even have a scene by scene description and you would still be surprised first watching this
Ultimately, Dandadan is basically just a romantic comedy mixed with a shounen battle and with horror/ sci-fi. The manga is absolutely nuts, but the story stays grounded by focusing mostly on the characters themselves and their relationships with each other.
WHAT THE FUCK IS A NORMAL PLOT?!?!
Heh, nuts

Craziest 1st episode for a anime 😂

Saaaame I started reading after few weeks ago and I’m up to date and it’s so goood
I read 168 chapters in two days and the rest today and I agree with you it is so freaking but I need more.
The writer/ illustrator for the DanDaDan manga [ Yukinobu Tatsu] was an assistant for the writer/illustrator of Chainsaw Man [Tatsuki Fujimoto].
Lol Cara killing me 🤣🤣🤣 she so scared
Prez. not only is the Granny Luffy, the Serpo Alien is Zoro.

I was wondering if Cara was going to watch it, cause she will love it. Specially the following arcs
If she's getting scared by this, imagine her watching dark gathering

Mieruko-chan maybe
This is literally the hub if it was animated and it’s only the first episode as well. Crazy 💀💀😭🤣😭😭

I seriously enjoy this anime. 13:45 My favorite moment from this episode. Possesed boy went straight for aliens weenies. 😂 Great reaction!😃
このお話は恋愛がベースなので、女性と男性がペアのリアクターさんをみるのがかなり楽しいです。

7:58 i just love that sound he makes xd
Given the reactions to this episode I would love to see you react to Dark Gathering. That show is amazing.
Turbo Granny moves way too fast. At least have the decency of taking the poor guy out for dinner before gobbling that wienie.
ガールフレンドさんは怖いのが苦手なんだ?( *´艸`)✨

Turbo Granny(One Piece:LUFFY)
By the way, Serpo the alien is One Piece:ZORO.

No one wants One Piece anyway, after a certain point the show turns into 50% filler.
I don't know why no one uses the Dub for DandaDan, it's actually damn good on par with Japanese
People wanna hear the Japanese VA mostly because of the prominent and well known VA from well known and loved shows. E.g. Tokyo Ghoul, One Piece etc
