    It's not all down to the tyre it's more to do with your throttle control, braking control and weight distribution.

      Vita Cola you could because they wouldn't make a tyre which would be that wide to touch the frame

    I’m running Michelin Starcross soft on the back and the same medium tire on the front, very big improvement compared to the standard CST tires.

      @@shapezmotronicaudio1332 dont suppose you have a link where you purchased them from. Did you fit heavy duty inner tubes too If so can you give details too as I am finding it hard to locate these. Cheers

      Ross Webster i,m from Holland and i got them from a tire webshop, i also run Michelin moto cross 4 mm heavy duty inner tubes, good combo 👍🏻

      @@shapezmotronicaudio1332 I'm in scotland so should get them here. I have been looking at 75 width tyres.. Silly question but I have never bought inners tubes before. Do you buy the same size of inner tube as the tyre 🙃

      If you have at look at my night time videos you'll see its not brilliant, at best adequate and there is no main beam.

      Unusually the Sur Ron has the same size tyres front and back 3.00 x 19.
      If you look back in the early comments you should find where I bought them?

      No it has a road legal restriction to 28mph but in off road mode will do 49mph

      @@JohnC-iv8jo Because in Europe they are road registered as a Moped and therefore restricted to a maximum speed of 28mph, of course I only use full power mode off road officer !

    Good review on the Maxxis tire, where did you get them as I cannot find that size for my Sur Ron ?

      www.mandp.co.uk/maxxis-c186-300-19.html Note : They are not actually branded as Maxxis, they are branded by the parent company Cheng Shin Rubber Co. and made in Vietnam. Maxxis has been their European trading name since 1967 and they are the worlds largest manufacturer of bicycle and motorcycle tyres. I thought they'd sent me Chinese knock off's when the order arrived lol

      lots of e Bay sellers stock the tyre and unlike in USA some European sellers will ship to the USA search : Maxxis 3.00 x 19 C186 Universal Trail Tyre

    This is the off road model as it’s going faster than 15.5mph , so how can it be road legal ? Only asking as I have the same and I don’t want shit off of old bill lol , thanks 😊

      There are two versions, the road legal one has lights, indicators and a number plate holder and is registered as a moped. Max speed on thd road 28mph officer. Obviously you also need a licence and insurance.
      The off road version isnt legal on the road.

    Can these bikes get muddy?? Can u wash them like normal bikes and how many miles of off road riding before the battery dies?

      Very Muddy and very wet I've ridden mine down a river ! Range depends on how hard you ride it, I ride my flat out and probably average 35 miles off road. In Eco mode max 28mph I've seen 45 miles.

      No rim locks. and I'm running the tyres at a low 8psi for grip, but I've never had an tyre slip issues.

    You can cut the speed restriction off and the top speed will be 60mph

      Yes but it's more than fast enough off road and more speed = less range.

      Seriously, i mean like I don’t mean to be disrespectful to the guy, but that’s not steep, he has next to no control, and I could get my mountain bike up their quicker than he took the sur.
      That tyre is based upon a classic trials tyre’ and is NOT at all suitable for what is is doing - not one bit!! He really hasn’t got the first clue.
      All he needed to do with the other tyres was let the pressure down, maybe fit a bead lock or two and learn how to ride properly.
      He could learn a lot from watching some RUclips videos.

    What miles u getting from ur type of riding on and off road ?

      I must average about 35 miles with it being winter -1c this morning. I keep meaning to do a test of how far it goes flat out on the road, I'd guess about 25 miles?

      Yes the wheels are exactly the same size front and back

      Up hill 42mph (68kph), on the flat 46mph (74kph), down hill or with a good tail wind 48/49mph (79kph). Today I hit a max of 47mph on the road.

      Indeed but the CST are borderline lethal on the road
