I understand chino not wanting to talking about "chi". It shows it affects him.
Maaan Deftones are the most laid back and real people to form a band... they've been my favorite for many years now! Chino and Abe are genuine!
Deftones and Slipknot are my 2 favorites. Man I would have loved to see them on tour together
Good job! I like how you did NOT ask about Chi...I completely feel Chino on that one. I think interviewers have to being something ELSE to the table aside from generic interview questions, especially on sensitive topics they are ALWAYS asked about!
it was funny that Chino didn't know the release date of Diamond Eyes... "2009", but it released May 4, 2010...That's what happens when you have as much they do under your belt. lol Can't wait for the rescheduled Deftones/Gojira tour. My tickets are eagerly waiting to know when theyre usable lol. It'll be my 50th deftones show and 3rd Gojira show to date. \m/
Deftones are respected all across the board
I knew Chino would say Digital Bath, I just knew it and I love it too!
Seeing them at Knotfest was my first time seeing them in Somerset!! It was an amazing experience all around
Right :o) Having worked closely with Chi's family since the accident to gather support and spread awareness about his condition, we generally try to keep it positive. To raise much needed funds to help with his care, it helps if people who care about him speak of him in public. That is all.

he didn't complain about it being an inconvenience. he said it's hard for them to talk about. would you want to be constantly reminded that your friend was in that state by interviewers when you probably already have it on the brain constantly?

Currently, this is my Deftones's album rankings. It's still not official since I hated some of the songs in their albums, and once I'll try the songs that I hated they might change my mind and probably the songs that I hated from a particular album will be my No. 1. Anyway, this is it:

LOL at these guys for being asked what questions they hate to be asked, but instead of just simply saying "I hate to be asked..." They just answer the questions that they say they hate to be asked, but were never actually asked in this interview.

There are thousands and thousands of people worldwide who love Chi. Chi helped to build this band and make it what it is today. It's a shame he has become an inconvenience to the band. Very inconsiderate of him to have TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) for almost 4 years after his horrific car accident in November 2008. I'm speechless now.
