- A quick update on some of our late breeding racing pigeons. Check out that SILVER baby racing pigeon! Put in the comments your guess for the parents of the silver baby. Under normal circumstances I would not be breeding racing pigeons this late in the year, but we have a pressing matter that is pushing me to do so.

Hello Mr Robinson. Have you ever thought about getting some show type homers in your loft? A friend of mine gave his friend a few show type to help him get started in racing. He ended up winning 6 out of 8 races and placed 3rd and 4th in the other two. What do you think about the possibility of trying it?

His name is Rodney Hand, and he has been one of the best showman in the United States for a long time. He is 85 now and getting out of the sport, and im taking over everything from him. Once i get everything in order and get myself up to speed with things and learn his breeding patterns i could reach out to you and maybe send you a couple as an experiment?
All my feeders are made of wood. My biggest complaint is not feeling like I can really get them clean. As soon as I saw your's made of PVC, i was like "Duh; i should've thought of that!"

Hi Jamrs! I have several silvers, probably six young birds that will compete this fall in the Desert Wings Club. Their dam was my top performer last year.

In UK that's a mealy not a silver, a silver is something completely different a silver is the dilute of the blue bar.....
@@Dazob66 I’ve heard people use the term mealy quite a bit for ash-red birds but was not familiar with how “silver” was used in the UK. Thanks for sharing!

@@ausfuhrpramienjagar only a handful of club birds this year. Got 3 flying in a Utah club, 3 locally, 3 in WI. I’m personally not flying club this fall

@@kouchang13 Great question. Normally I’m done breeding by July. This year I’m breeding a few extra rounds off a few breeders that I will no longer have going forward.

How many late hatch rounds do you normally do? Just curious because im doing a few late round hatches too!
@@kenchi37 I’m normally done with all breeding beginning of July, but several of my main breeders will be breeding elsewhere starting in 2025 so I’m trying to squeeze out one or two extra late rounds.
