As far as Namor is concerned in the BP:WF movie, the Wakandans struck first blood when they “rescued” Shuri so killing the queen might have been extreme but in his eyes they instigated it
No, in that Marvel MCU Non-canon Spinoff.....the Blue Mexicans struck first blood by infiltrating the Wakandans land and telling the Wakandan Queen what to do. ("you have to give us that scientist so we can kill her and you have to join an alliance with us to war against the surface world) The Water-Mexicans started that shit when they abducted a member of the Wakandan Royal family holding her hostage unless the Wakandans do what they say......and that abomination is not the Real Prince Namor.

The scientist was responsible for detecting the vibranium which exposed their location to the surface dwellers, if anything, the arrangement presented by Namor is for their mutual benefit because Wakanda has tightened their grip on vibranium yet again. You’d be hard-pressed to even call what he did an infiltration since he appeared by himself as a messenger and to show good faith. I’m not saying what he did was right but I understand why he would demand for the scientist as a preventive measure

Namor is the guy who will go to war with the heroes one day and fight alongside them the next. Black Panther and Doom understand how to treat him best. One denied him any help when he dragged the carcass of his failure to their doorstep. The other shivved him and left him on an exploding planet.

Namor has a way of being Hostile towards everyone who messes with him. I can see him bringing Giganto in the MCU which leads to the monster attacking a City. This would lead to the United Nations declaring Namor as a Mutant which will lead to more Mutants popping up in Cities including Westchester, New York (where the X-mansion is located).

It would be a nerf if they straight up bested him but they had to use two different heroes and tactics to barely win. Like sure Namor is tough as hell, but every MCU person other than cap has been nerfed in a similar fashion.

Am not a marvel buff but my god. Namor was amazing in the movie, I like the backstory aswell. It all fit in so well. Replace Vibranium with gold or oil and you’ll see Namor’a point. We started off the movie with wakandan outposts being attacked. Also love the guy as an actor. He plays Caro Quintero in Narcos: Mexico.

Namor’s plan in Wakanda Forever was questionable
He claims to wage war on the world to protect his people
But most of the world didn’t even know he and his people existed
So he himself was pretty much endangering himself and his people
Yeah, it frustrated me that he put all the blame and waged war on Wakanda when the U.S. and France were the real agitators. I understand his thoughts, but it definitely could've been handled more diplomatically with a fellow super nation who didn't want war.

Namor has anger for thousands of years and won’t stop. Namor witnessed humanity’s evil and he wants to stop them from harming anyone else. But in the end if he goes through with it he will be no better than the conquistadors that conquered the surface of his mother’s home. Namor has to come out and reveal Talokan to the world because Earth has no tech nor the means to destroy them. Hopefully his darkness will end and earth will have a new protector to help the earth that has been damaged by the arrogant heroes’ decisions.

@@bp4162 It's more like he wouldn't have fought if Riri didn't find that vibranium underwater. Sure my guess is he was preparing for something inevitable, but held off for as long as possible as while he hates the surface dwellers he makes it clear he doesn't want to fight those he considers to be on equal footing. Plus, it's clear that even at the end of the movie he sees the potential silver lining that being spared gave him.

Wakanda Forevervwas a great movie. It was more drama, but the story was great. While there is still some things that is easy to see as political, they were more relative to the events that took place already and weren't forced.

I wonder if the comics are going to show someone trying to overthrow Namor and try to make peace with the land dwellers or kill him off cause his ambitions are worse than the hulk’s rage. Also why haven’t we see the original human torch in the animated cartoons or live action movies for that matter Cap should have talked about him by now and vision and ultron should have rebuilt him or find parts of him that is another marvel hero overlooked just like wonder man.
