  • Rishi Sunak has apologised again for leaving the D-Day commemorations early, declaring, “I just hope voters can find it in their hearts to forgive me”.
    (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News...)
    He brushed aside suggestions that he had thought about quitting, and insisted he was “energised” by the campaign.
    Labour's Sir Keir Starmer has been focusing on his party's childcare policy, telling reporters it was all “fully costed”.
    Ciaran Jenkins has been out on the campaign trail.

    We gone from a society where a family needed 1 bread winner in the household. We find ourselves in a position where 2 bread winners are needed just to cover the basic household costs. It's time people wake up and realise the system is broken

    • @hello150
      @hello150 3 месяца назад

      Whilst I agree the system is broken, what hasn't helped is the advance in technology and consumerism. When a family could survive with one breadwinner, they had one tv in the household and a radio etc. Now every member of the House has a smart phone, expensive trainers, smart watches, tvs in bedrooms etc.

    • @radroatch

      @@hello150 All those consumer goods are cheap following technological advancement. One bread winner was putting washing machines etc in they homes following the technological advancement of yesteryear, you know, when a family could afford a home.
      The problem has nothing to do with consumerism in material terms; the issue is the power the peddlers, conglomerates, have amassed debassing the social contract.

      @@radroatch I don't agree as whilst they are generally cheaper, we have more items that did not exist in the past, hence we spend more of our income on them. Not to mention the amount of choice and yearly updates that wasn't there previously.

Inflation is significantly more still with both rent and mortgages relative to wages. And the tax burden has been completely inverted. This is not even touching on the sky-rocketing recent inflation.

    We live under the yoke of a regime which appears to consider us - the British people - a mere obstacle, and a bitterly resented one at that. This regime will allow us no more opportunity for hope, comfort or fulfilment in our lives, than is necessary to keep us from mass disobedience while they manage us out of existence as an identifiable people. Globalism devalues a population, to the point of making it worthless. If mass immigration was banned a government would have an incentive to value the population which it ruled over. As it stands the endless flow of human capital allows that government to view the native stock with complete indifference, if not contempt.

    • @radroatch
      @radroatch 3 месяца назад

      Why blame immigration? The real problem is the transfer of wealth and power away from the majority, and the inverting of the tax burden onto them. Immigration policy might seem like an easier battle to accept, but it is not the actual problem and can never be the solution.

    • @Nick-kb6jd
      @Nick-kb6jd 3 месяца назад +1

      Very close to fascist rhetoric there. I only wander if you recognise it or not. Stop trying to fix complicated problems with simple "solutions". Get some class consciousness rather than race supremacy and you might get somewhere to figuring out who's really to blame. Who's got all the money we don't? Migrants? Ofc not.

They care about families because women are bullied out to work good mothers feed as nature i tended for a long time and you can't work if you do this.. expressed milk in bottles is not as good. Think of the poor children being deprived of their mothers are the first teachers and childcare is rubbish. There is a society Mothers at Home Matter.
