They won't sack him because he's only 8 games into trying to implement a brand new system. Everyone is forgetting that Jim has said that he and the board will be choosing the style of play, NOT the manager. That means ETH is only 8 games in to trying to make a new system for him and the players work. The board aren't silly enough to think that's enough time. Nobody is acknowledging this fact. They keep talking as if this is ETH's way of playing, when it's been categorically told to us by Jim himself that the manager will have no say in style of play. His job is purely to implement it.
