It seems to me that there is great agreement on most forums that a match should not decide whether a manager stays or is fired. (The exception is perhaps a 7-0 loss against the arch-rival). But all the same, we see that far too many accepted and believed that an FA Cup victory was enough for renewed confidence. I was conflicted in decision, but understand the choice they made for several reasons. Erik was surprisingly popular with fans, as well as Dan Ashworth and Omar Berrada were not in place when the decision about Erik ten Hag had to be made. I add the goodwill, but fail to see the point of keeping Erik ten Hag, he is the wrong person in the new regime, and only beats his own miserable records in the EPL. He must go, and a new man in. The first thing I look for in a new manager are qualities such as a good motivator and lots of charisma. A person who can speak for himself in a way that engages players and supporters. That's the first thing I look for. The football professional quality needed is the club's responsibility, and I think they have the right people to make a good choice. So, it doesn't worry me. Since May 2013, we've had five managers, roughly what Chelsea have in a couple of seasons. Real Madrid has had seven managers in the same period. You simply have to get over Sir Alex with his 24 years as manager, that is history, a good one. Ruud as temporary manager, and new for the summer? Same for me, I trust INEOS once again.

@@Caz_Utd I wish. Nah were buried in some writing. I am listening to the stream now and just heard Adam recommend Tuchel. You have to give him a good shake and make him snap out of it. There are not one player in PL that have not noticed what Frank have done with Brentford. At a certain level it´s not the last Pound you can earn that matters but that you can like, trust and respect the man in front of you wanting to do the best for both you and the TEAM you belong to. Did you SEE the last match between Brentford and Wolves? Such a joy to watch how they fight as a team and running the extra mile when a team mate make a mistake, like it happens to all, to try to correct it. Players coming to Brentford go UP in value and must have a wonderful feeling about their collective achievements. What Man U´s players NEED are someone that are likeable, speak clear, have a great eye for tactics related to the opponent at hand and that want the best results for the TEAM and thus also want to use players spear competences while working on improving their deficiencies in a partnership. I perceive Frank as someone that have both a vision and flexibility and ability to change strategies fast when faced with injuries etc. I watched their latest matches and you cannot even spot Ivan Toney have been sold. I think Man U´s players would see Thomas Frank as a chance for them all to positively transition while getting better and better results. May INEOS AND Adam see the light 😀
