@@isocuda true! Funny enough that was one of the biggest motivators for me to record and publish it. I wouldn’t bother if there was already a ton of similar ones.
Now we need you to do this same video with the other 20 mufflers 😂@@miatapov I'm waiting on my ND3 to arrive and have been debating the Racing Beat Sport/Race or the GWR Superstreet. Now I typically on NB's do RB Header, midpipe, and power pulse single tip. Which is a little bit of everything and fine for daily usage. I did have a GWR Roadstersport 4 midpipe and muffler with the RB Header on one of my NBs and I instantly hated it. Like diarrhea launched out of a trumpet 🎺 So there's plenty on the SSST and other variants, but this is the first ind depth comparison of the RB sport/race so it's greatly appreciated 👍
@@isocuda thanks for kinds words :D No promises, and no timeline, but I'll try to get at least some recording of GWR SSST on the same mic. That way it'll be somewhat apples-to-apples :)
Thank you for a terrific video. I had a Sport/Race on a previous 2016 Club, and will install another one on a 2024 Club that just arrived. Then and now, I chose it for the deep, non-raspy tone and lack of drone
i have this same back box as i wanted to get away from the 2 pipes. i love the exhause but i wanted a bit more "snarl" so ive then fitted a BBR decatt downpipes and a quick remapp to remove the pre catt code and it's brought the sound to how i wanted
As an ND2 owner with everything stock, I thought I’d have a chuckle listening to some boomy aftermarket exhaust. My bad. Now I’ve got to scrape up five hundred bucks!
There's a bit of buildup of low-frequencies on deccel in 1-2 gears around 2K RPM. RB themselves write about that "low RPM frequencies can be more pronounced in the 2000-1500 RPM range (especially noted in 2nd gear "parking lot" deceleration)". The only time when it is noticeable in a conscious way is 2nd gear slow crawl on highway next to a wall. I honestly cannot call that a drone. To me drone is a resonance when driving steady on highway/level street. I have not noticed that at all.
How loud is this in comparison to the stock exhaust. I installed an ISR muffler delete, basically a straight pipe and it was way too loud and boomy and my ears were ringing after every drive Is there much Drone and do your ears ring after you drive with this Muffler? I wonder how this compares to the Goodwin racing Roadster sport Super Street or race mufflers? By the way what road are you driving on looks incredible.
@@dougmaverick3287 Compared to stock: Racing Beat posted db measurements on their site for stock vs sport-race. For good-win racing: somewhere between super-q and super-street.
FINALLY the 3rd ever video of this muffler to ever be uploaded 😂

This has got to be the best RB exhaust video I have found.. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you for your kind words.
@@miatapov I actually bought one for my car lol. it was this or GWR but I am old school so the RB name goes a long way for me.

Performance increase noticed? Or just for the sound? Its more light than stock muffler?
@@tiagoferreira522 it is lighter on scales, that’s true. I have not noticed any performance difference TBH. I was going purely for sound.

Thanks very much for recording in such methodical manner. Any drone at all when the top is up?

@@miatapov thank you for your response. It’s very helpful. I’m going to order the Racing Beat for my new ND.
Nice vidéo mate, i have the same gear whining do u know if this is normal ? Thanks
Thnx :) I have mixed signals about whine. If it doesn't get louder then you should be ok. If it gets louder then talk to your dealer or a mechanic.
It's normal from diff gear box etc if it gets worse ie louder there's probably an issue , if in doubt get it checked out ,
Can you post a link on that muffler?

The car should have come that way from the factory. Sounds better than stock.
@@EchoSigma6 100%. The only time I heard stock exhaust was the 30 seconds on cold start. Otherwise it’s non-existent. That’s just sad on a sports car.
