I've had Ring doorbells in the past. Constantly having to take it apart to recharge the battery (more than once a week) was tiresome. If I use rechargeable D batteries, I can change the batteries without having to take the device apart. Are there other "over the door" doorcams available?
I like the full view of the remoplus... I live in an apartment and i don't think the ring has full ground view. Just recently, I've had two packages stolen from in front of my door. If a child were to crawl underneath the camera view, i would be able to see who stole the package. This over the door camera is perfect. I can see full view from ground to beyond adult height. I understand the view at night may not be perfect but the packages were stolen during the day. I'm definitely going to looking into buying two of these. One for the front door and one for the patio door.
Does anyone know if it's required by law to post the camera sticker? Is it like some type of privacy law for the perpetrator to be recorded without notice? Social media is full of that anyways.

Camera works great, but apartment door is difficult to close. Easy tradeoff for better security.

Would this doorcam work over a garage door?
Probably not bc of the wide ness between the opening going up. If ur garage door is always closed. No problem.
