@@calebwebster3575 As far as I know, the Giants History was updated in 2011 and that was the last one. The original Giants History went to the 2003 season and they just added '04-'11 to the already produced one. The last brand new ones were the Vikings and Dolphins in 2009. In 2012 they did a Dynasty Collection production with the 49ers Team of the 80s and Steelers Behind the Steel Curtain which are great, I have those posted on here too.
@@80sFootballCards I’ve been watching the ones you posted so far, I’m on the Redskins rn. My favorite part is learning about the early days of these teams tbh
The greatest chapters of Eagles history have come since this documentary was produced... but if they remake it, they need to keep the Harry Kalas part and add a different narrator for 2004 onward because HK is a Philadelphia legend and is irreplaceable... but maybe Ray Didinger could finish the next 20 years?
Watching this now, a week away from the Super Bowl I appreciate so much more the sacrifice of those players it took to get here. With that said, Jeffrey Lurie learned from the mistakes of the past and led us to greatness with a prime Howie Roseman. Thank you everyone. Even Chip dip Kelly
45:00 The Santa who the Eagles fans threw snowballs at wasn't the old guy that normally did it, as for some reason he had to cancel at the last moment. There was a young fan at the game who happened to be wearing a cheap Santa costume, so they asked him to stand in. That was the guy they threw snowballs at.
Indeed but everyone would associate the 46 defense with Buddy Ryan because of how dominant that bears defense was in the mid 80’s and the eagles for a few years when buddy was there as well
My 2 favorite things to note in this video: the Eagles elected to wear their away uniforms in the NFC championship vs DAL because of the superstition that the Cowboys played worse when wearing their blue jerseys, and the interview with former Philadelphia Inquirer journalist Bill Lyon…grew up reading his articles and truly thought the world of his writing
5 time NFL World Champions!! And the only team to win back to back Titles and pitch 2 straight shutouts!! I've been telling people that for years.. But, people always try to tell me that a Title before 1967 doesn't count because it's not a Super Bowl. Idiots!! Of course I tell them that the NFL started in 1920 not in 1967 when they changed the Title game to the SB. This year is NFL Championship 105 not 59. Who has the most Titles, answer, the Packers 13. We need to stop disrespecting the history of the league.. EAGLES 5 TIME NFL WORLD CHAMPIONS.. Spread the word!!
Vermeil's locker room sound like boo hoo me funeral 1:03. Just won the divison and everyone sitting their like all depressed !! No wonder Raiders kicked that butt in 1980.
That scene was from when they beat the Giants in the last week of 1978 to finish 9-7, the Eagles first winning season in 12 years. They weren't depressed and it definitely wasn't a funeral.
I love these complete team histories. And my first comment flag has been planted!
Me too! I wish they would keep making them and do every team. The last one they made was around 2010.
Agreed
@@80sFootballCardswho was the last team they made one for

Holy crap my recommended came through. It was warm outside last time I stumbled upon a gem. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅

Nothing has happened since this documentary that tops back to back titles. Keeping it a bean.
Super Bowl 52, and a model of consistency. These are the best years. Especially because those NFL titles dont hold weight these days.
Oh Lord how I wish for an extension of this history into the present (2025)
I have this on DVD when it came out. Always made me proud to watch it! And i loved how one year right after this ended, we went to the Super Bowl
Same here
The legendary voice of Harry Kalas 👌👌 Go Birds 🦅
Let's Go Eagles!🔥👋🏾💪🏾🦅

The Eagles and Rolling Rock beer. Institutions since 1933.🍻🦅
I want that 1960 framed picture shown being held by a fan at the vet at the end of this video
Buddy Ryan did not invent the 46 D, it was the brainchild of Neil ford Armstrong who won the 48 and 49 championships with the eagles.

Eagles nation
Like they got Harry Kalas to narrate this video before he passed in 2009...a Philly (or should we say Phillie?) institution.
@andrewpadaetz5549 Harry also did the Phillies history video which was done in 2009 months before his passing.
If you find any other documentaries that have Bucko in it can you post them please! He’s my great grandfather
Yea o.k. Jim they won 3 n.f.l. Championships before 1961; 1947 & 48 & 60.

There eere the Frankford Yellow jackets whitch wasnt to far from Holmesburg where i use to be a resident
In a remake, i think they spend a minute or two on riding dougie P until D Mac was ready.

When was the Last Time Dallas won a Super Bowl?
