Flail mowers don't chew up the grass like a rotary blade(s) mower does, so the cut grass blades are much longer, almost like hay. It just looks like there's grass not getting cut. Albeit, a flail mower doesn't leave that fresh cut look, more like a 2 day old mow. Where a flail mower is better than the rest is it is more efficient, you can cut more faster with the same HP. Also they don't throw anything out the sides, and you can cut the real long growth that rotary blades can't (with comparable horse power).

A bit underpowered for this job i would say but i like the simple and functional design.
It stood up well but you were skull dragging it at the end on that angle, the inside wheel was in the air.
