As a fellow Floridian & a homesteader with kids, I (we) thoroughly enjoy your efforts & content 👍🏼👍🏼
I love hearing that, what part of Florida? Thanks for watching!
@@chud327 west volusia/Deleon Springs/Astor/ National Forest area. (In the woods)👋🏼
I usually just say Deland to folks outside of Florida 😂
Spent 18 years in Fla. Had a blast in port Charlotte Fort Myers Punta gorda my old stomping grounds.
Looks like the power upgrade was what these flails should have had from the factory, nice work
So true and thanks for watching
Great job on the re-power. Those flail mowers are beasts! When you showed the flails it looked like they are the "L" shaped ones, you might see if "T" shaped ones are available when you need to change out the fails as I believe they are a bit heavier and might cut better.
Great tip and thanks for watching
Aren’t the tee just two L bolted to one spot?
Glad you was paying attention about 20 seconds in I seen an albino pygmy gator under that trailer. Almost got ya. Great repower and great vid as usual brother 👍.
Got to be on the look out, that thing is only going to get bigger. Thanks for watching.
Nice repower. Maybe you could rig up a way to offset the tongue when needed to mow closer to trees/fencing and keep the rider out of the way. I'm building a "pull behind" mower soon and I'm going to give it a shot.
Very good idea and good luck on your build. Thanks for watching
Gotta get me one of those……
Surprised how well it did.
I thought I saw one in Bryceville somewhere...where was that road...Chevy Rd, Dodge Rd, Nissan Rd...?🤣🤣
What the added HP and torque, that mower will mow anything and everything that the tractor can pull it through.
Pretty much and thanks for watching!!
Great job there Young Man 😎 great to see you reprupoe that flail mower also the Honda engine fit right in the 👍
I was very surprised on easy the swap went. Thanks for watching
@@chud327 👍😎
Oh man, you done mowed the cannabis down with that little beast of a machine.
Hope there is none out there, but you never know, a bird could have dropped some seeds. Thanks for watching
That thing looks awesome!
Agreed and thanks for watching
That thing looks awesome
Agreed and thanks for watching
wow that mower is badass!
I was surprised and how good it did and never tried to bog down. Thanks for watching
What was the biggest sapling you cut
Did you go over any low stumps?
Looks like the thing I need. 👍
Maybe 1" or like a 5 foot tall pine. I don't remember hitting any stumps. It was cool and thanks for watching!!
Can't beat a flail mower
first time I have ever used one, it was a blast. thanks for watching.
Momma has found a way to get the yard mowed. Get you a new toy
Very true and thanks for watching
Cool! Which way does the flail drum turn?
That I don't remember, should be able to tell from the pulleys on the side. Thanks for watching.
That's a smart idea for rough ground. Do the flails ever have to be sharpened?
They would be, but t I don’t know how often. Thanks for watching
flail mower eh? never heard of it. cant wait to see it run (1:20 deep
)
Hope you like and thanks for the comment
What size tires did you put on it? I have an old 80’s miller welder and they look like the perfect size.
I don't remember the exact size, but pretty much what is on front of a lot of riding mower would be close. thanks for watching.
hmm. seems to cut tall grass with the effectiveness of a rotory but with the nice even spread of a reel mower. can you adjust cut hight?
WOW. the more i watch the more i want one!
i cant believe a little 13horse can cut that wide, that tall, that fast!
Does that sweet as old truck run?
It does, would need carb, light, windshield and brake work to be road worthy... Thanks for watching
Now you need a riding mower hay baler...
That would be very cool and thanks for watching
@@chud327 If anyone can find one it would be you.
That would be awesome! Reminds me when we would load bails of hay…An old farmall in gear while we were stacking on the wagon.
I would have to have a kill switch up on the crafts man.
Good idea, remote electric start and throttle control would be nice too. and thanks for r watching.
Any advice for making a new lawn tractor from a 24hp vtwin and a cub-cadet?
I like to start with th better tires, good luck and thanks for watching
Day 26 and that’s pretty cool. I might have to do something like that on my mower
Sorry I never comment back to such a loyal viewer. Thanks X26 for watching.
Awesome.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!!
Just slow down your travel speed when in the heavy 'r vegetation, nice job on the re-power
yes and thanks for watching.
Nice !!!
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!!
I could really use one of those!
Thing works amazing! Thanks for watching
That’s what a flail mower is for
yes, thanks for watching.
I'm surprised it doesn't have a clutch to engage and disengage the blades.
Set it and forget it style
What size tires you have on that craftsman tractor
I think those are 19X7X8's, thanks for watching.
@@chud327 do they rub on the hood when turning ? What size are there rear tires ?
Badass man!
Thanks so much and thanks for watching.
T hammers or Y flails?
I think they were L shaped, but really can't remember. thanks for watching
What if you pulley swap the flail mower?
Would be a fun test and thanks for watching
Now that you have a more powerful engine do a pully swap on the engine 1" smaller to speed up the flails. Faster speeds equal better cut. 👍🇺🇸
That is a good idea and thanks for watching.
I'm sorry it's 1" bigger on engine must have had a brain fart while writing. 😁
That thing cuts better than a regular mower.
It does cut great!! Thanks for watching!!
Welcome I watch your videos on mud mowers also you do a great job on that.
@@nathanbynum9679 love hearing that, thanks again!!
No way im first! I got to one of those old fails
Well guess i wasnt first
Are you in Texas
Good guess, I am in Florida. Thanks for watching.
Safety 3rd...as we say in the military...lol
Funny and thanks for watching
How much are you selling it for
It was a friend, he sold for 1000$ and people were lining up to try to get it. Sorry, just seeing your message and thanks for the watch
that's a nice machine do you think it's nice
I think very nice, thanks for watching
Fix that truck up. Omg 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 10:25
Makes you wonder what you ever used before..
Yes and thanks for watching.
Thanks for the reply brother. 😁 been subbed for years. Keep it up!
I'll bet if you sharpen the blades it would eat everything.
For sure and thanks for the watch
Hi
Hi and thanks for watching
Pulley swap it
That would be cool and thanks for watching!!
👍👍💯💯🍦🍦
Thanks for watching
I’ll trade you a mud mower
I was actually working on that mower for a friend. thanks for watching.
That's really a testing.
Had to make sure it was good. I was impressed. Thanks for watching
This thing is amazing. Feel free to drop it off my house at 33415. 😁
Funny and thanks for watching
Maybe if you sharpen the blades it will cut a whole lot better
I was obviously thinking that too, but there were so many. I figured the owner could tackle that if he felt it was necessary. I still felt it was doing a great job. Thanks for watching!!
I need that mower to cut my grass :(
It did a great job and thanks for watching!!
