Yeah this is the sound similar to the earlier Sabaton albums and we need that shit to make a comeback. Also glad you mentioned Civil war because they can also make some really good stuff in this style.
This lives rent free in my head since release. So looking forward to the album. But Joakim’s voice fits Sabaton and Sabaton want to evolve and not sound like old Sabaton I assume. I’m happy that Tommy is focusing on Majestica as now there is 2 great band that release music. Majestica is great live, saw them in May if guy get to see them you will have a blast. He jumped from Titantic to Bismarck as he did a whole concept album about Titanic as ReinXeed (Majestica's former name). It is a great album if you haven’t heard it. But listen in the right order not as it is on the album (record label screwed up).

I think the albums is recorded already since Tommy mentioned a while back that he didn't have time do a weekly Friday cover because Majestica were busy recording a new album (and very tight time limit to finish it)
This is million times better than Sabaton. This is powerful HardRock without schlager dynamics, like Sabaton. This is a good mix of HardRock, AOR and Metal 🤘
Hey guys, have you heard of the new band DAMPF? They are also from Sweden, and Tommy from Majestica was at least a part on the first album. Not sure about the second.
I am not entirely sure that Tommy wanted more room in Sabaton. But he’s a über creative person with immence workrate. So Tommy dropping out of Sabaton came natural.
