I have been vegan for 12 years, last summer I finally understood that I was ruining my health (IBS, teeth problems, tired all the time, hair loss...) These videos are really useful. Thank you so much from Italy ✨🙏
That's how I do it, when I'm hungry I eat. Sometimes it's two meals a day and some times it's just one. Very rarely is it three. It's always Carnivore!

Lee and Abs...the dream team. This is so interesting as my wife has been saying that its different for her on the carnivore diet being female. Thanks for raising the question. Very much appreciated
I prefer smaller meals, so I tend to eat 3 times per day. Sometimes I even tend to graze, which, I know, is frowned upon, but it feels satisfying. I'm fully carnivore. 🙂🥩🐟
People love being told good things about their bad habits. It's more profitable that way . Ditto the sponsorships no vegan is being bribed by big okra or big broccoli.
Wow, Lee... LOVE THIS GUY! He sounds like Dr. Chaffee with a lot better analogies, but they'd agree wholeheartedly on the answers to your questions. He's super easy to understand. GREAT STATEMENTS posed on your part, Lee! I loved this exchange! Sharing everywhere I can!
@kentcarnivore ...and @Dr_Abs ... I like the new look compared to the older videos on his channel. This new look makes him more handsome, and he has very nice, trustable eyes, which are said to be the window to the soul. People tend to believe what is said if the packaging is there as well. (I guess my QVC hosting days are showing LOL)... and my Dad was in sales, too. Truth... you need to sell yourself when you're selling a message. It's just part of the package. His analogies are so easy to follow... very well done. You found and featured a good one, Lee!
Hi Lee, thank you for this video, Dr Abs is so easy to understand the way he explains how our bodies work. I just had a stress test( having heart palpitations and sudden high blood pressure spikes)and passed really well ( 71 year old female) Every maker was good except and the Cardiologist and my new doctor wants me on Statins right away. Says I could have a stroke as my number was twice it should be (7) I am in Australia. Both are quite adamant that the Carnivore diet is only a fad. I tried to explain some facts I had learned but I was dismissed like a 10 year old school girl. I have only been doing this lifestyle for 9 weeks and yet to be one hundred percent daily but close. These doctors sure can scare you!!! Not doing the Statins by the way.i found this new doctor on The Low Carb Down Under website but she is definitely not a Carnivore fan, told me to stop with the saturated fats, no butter and only 2 eggs per week or I will have a heart attack. Hence all the tests I had, 24 hour blood pressure monitor, 24 hour heart halter monitor, kidney tests, stress test, all levels of results were good. I was Vegan for 6 years( yep I know how dumb that was ) I fell for the propaganda being a empath for the animals, and ended up with some issues, so trying to help myself now with this new lifestyle. Inflammation off the charts, Thank you for all you do Lee, appreciate you and your videos very much. Trying to learn as much as possible. Blessings from OZ.🤗
I hope you can come back and let us know how you're doing. I'm a little younger but had some scary chest pains followed by a stress test a long while ago, the doctors said I had no problems then. More recently one was trying to push statins on me too, thankfully I learned about those already.
My Cardiologist asked me how much Water I drink each day & my answer was that "I drink when I'm thirsty" and he rolled his eyes then proceeded to give me the quantity from his Text Book.
@@danielcohen24 Ran into old Neighbors yesterday, the Wife is a Nurse of +20 years. They were impressed with my weight loss so asked how,... As soon as I said Carnivore she asked, "How's your Cholesterol" lol,... They just can't fight the programming.
I love how Abs just tells it straight and gives his opinion on certain things but he is not dogmatic. He just says, this is what I think and why and leaves it there. So refreshing.
When people bring up the blood type diet in conversation, I ask to see their before and after picture as I show them mine (the one in my profile pic). The discussion never seems to go any further😂😂!
I love these presentations and save every one. Several years ago a friend's son drank 12 litres of water started fitting and ended up in hospital. He was tested for diabetes insipidus but it turned out he thought he had to drink lots as he read somewhere that it was good to do that and he depleted his electrolytes. Luckily he was discharged with no further issues and instructions not to excessively drink water.
The Doctor's "Liver" topic answer is EXACTLY what I say when people go on about Calories,... I ask them "what part of your Body counts the Calories" and they all laugh & call me names but NONE of the hundreds of them have given me an answer because they CAN'T ! Calories is a MEASUREMENT which your Brain has been taught but your Body does NOT know what a Calorie is or what 50 grams of Steak is or 1 cubic inch of Cheese is :)
I will say... there was a couple of times he spoke quite fast and the terms he used don't show up on closed captions/subtitles so I cannot research myself. Would be nice if you could add stuff into the footnotes/info if possible it'd be appreciated mate
After few years on strict animal based, restricting carbohydrates, I had to add some fruits and dairy daily. I think I was suffering from ketosis induced hypothyroidism and had to add glucose to correct it. I am still animal based, but adding fruits and some dairy has been a game changer. Adding more fat did not make a big difference. Now, no more heart palpitation, and feeling low energy since adding some carbs. I don't drink coffee and stay away from heavy workouts. listen to your body and make changes if needed.

Great post, as usual. I am sure that if he had more time he would have mentioned that ketone bodies have multiple actions. They are not "just fuels". Moreover, he talks about general health and mitochondrial health as separate entities. It is becoming increasingly clear that mitochondrial health is "health". Please know that when I am discussing diet with my patients (I'm a Rheumatologist), I always recommend your YT channel, because it is one of the best and so informative. Thanks for all your hard work.
Pushing everybody to drinking every day is just so annoying!! I have never been a big water drinker. I can go all day long when I just drink coffee plus one class of water and I dont feel thirsty at all! Like non, nothing. For me its seems so silly that I have to pressure myself to drink because somebody says , although my body does not require it.
To say there's no reason one meal would be more important than another is like saying "a calorie is a calorie." There are plenty of reasons. Circadian rhythm, metabolic changes by length of fast, activity levels by time of day, to name a few.
I eat when I'm hungry. I drink when I'm thirsty. I sleep when I'm tired. I wake up when I'm rested. I don't use an alarm clock. It isn't hard but all the "experts" make it seem like we couldn't possibly make it though a day without them telling us how to live. I like that no one here said "this is what you have to do".
RE men and women being effected differently on cv: I think cv has an enormous impact on our hormones, and just as hormones sort of define the difference between male and female, there is going to be a different effect on a man or a woman in terms of testosterone or oestrogen.
