Why I see the option of Motion Tracking but not allows me to activate it? I see it and click on it, but doesn't allow me to activate it.

I have a question as well, How can you add a transition on an effect that you put on a clip? For example I wanted to "fade" the 'water' effect onto a clip but I could only get the effect to "appear immediately" instead of slowly fading into it and could not figure out how to make it do that.

I have a question regarding Grouping ... I made a custom animation (using text and shapes) on 4 tracks and grouped it BUT there seem to be no way to save a Grouped section as a preset or custom animation for use in future projects ... ? I know that text animation made on one single track can be saved as a custom in Advance mode ... please help.

in filmora 12 there is nothing between quick split and crop and double clicking brings up colour

Hi Jackie, I have Filmora 13 (latest paid subscript) About the "elephant in the room"... can you tarck the image and use Filmora to crop and zoom? (Crop to center the image on some point in the frame, and zoom to resize the image so that it stays in the focal point and the outside frame is not bouncing around). Kind of like video stabilization.

Thanks, but if I put use motion capture on an object that is moving closer to the screen, the thing that I apply it to gets smaller as the object gets closer. What do I do?
Also if you have changed the speed of the video clip, motion tracking isn't available,so you have to motion track before changing speed of your video.

Very helpful thank you. Please could you answer a question ? How do you make the linked oject which is tracking , change size in propotion if the main video ( being tracked) moves further away from the screen or moves closer to the screen so the trracking object gets smaller or larger in propotion. CapCut editor can do this, but the tracking accuracy is much better in Filmora 12. I hope you will answer , as I find everyone else says "please ask a question" but no one ever actually answers a question. Thanks Jacky
I agree on this totally. It should not only change in size, but rotate in angle if the object does.

I followed these instructions and could not link a second element to the tracked object. Extremely frustrating. I wanted to attach a text element to an arrow that was tracking an object in the video. These instructions failed for the text link.
