Thanks. One of the best reviews on the Osmo Action 3: I bought mine recently and it exceeded every expectation. I was astounded at it's Rock Steady function which makes it almost glide like a steadicam or a drone. The lush, rich colours were another surprise. One of the best gadgets I own.
@@eliteshinobeyt7004 Hello. The battery life runs up to about 160 minutes which is very good. The 'photos are very detailed and beautifully coloured, just like the iPhone: it has lush, rich colours. For close-up photographs the iPhone is better because it can pick more intricate details at a close distance and can adjust focus. There is no focus adjustment on the Osmo Action 3. I hope that answers your questions well. I love the camera.

It takes beautiful, detailed and colour-rich 'photographs, like the iPhone. But for close-up photographs the iPhone is better at sharper with detail. The iPhone has focus control, the Osmo Action 3 doesn't. Overall an amazing camera.

At night, the best way to maximise light into the sensor is to turn off stabilisation, shoot in 24 or 25 FPS and manually set your shutter speed to 1/25 or its lowest setting. This isn’t going to work well if you’re performing an action. It’s really just for mounted shots or vlogging. Hope this helps 🤘🏽

Actually I do think to view videos relating Beginners Guide for all action cameras can be VERY helpful….for beginners because you always do a bunch of remarks/reminders/beside comments/recommendations about VLOG/Points of View/Cinematic settings, Editing and so on, which do apply whatever the camera you have. 🙃In fact the presentation of your videos perfectly illustrates your mastery for the realization and the assembly of the videos and the insertion of an appropriate background sound and therefore of an optimal use of an action camera whatever the functionality. So I did start by reading some about DJI Osmo Action 3 and did realize this is also interesting to know about the others even if there is no need/desire to buy a new cam. Your analyze of the User Interface provided for DJI Action 3 did make me to think about revisiting some that one I have with the Gopro which is a good point actually. 😉

Very nice job in starting us out however maybe you should just show us how to turn it on and take some basic pictures and film. All those settings tend to confuse older people like me lol. Btw the plant to your right I was looking closely at it. Has it ever bloomed? I believe it’s in the family what we call NIGHT BLOOMING CERUS. Yes only blooms at night, only last for one night. The most I’ve ever had in one night was 22 on three different plants. My dad started them somewhere around 45 years ago.
Brilliant, Thank you mate. NB Question. A setting I cant find. On my action 1 I am able to set the camera to take a photo every 2 seconds. It works brilliantly on a selfie stick and gives you heep of photos to choose from. But no where in the Action 3 can I find this?? - Am I missing something ? Kindly help please

Hi Winston, I guess if you didn't pick up on any of the shots in this video being out of focus neither have we. From our experience the camera works just fine and as we'd expect from an action camera. No issues or problems that we've noticed from our end. Cheers
Very helpful video, but as a old technology challenged person, you might want to mention in order to make the Mimo editing work, you have to load the video clip files onto your phone... lol I know you young people would just say duh... but if you watch your video not knowing you'd think they were just there as soon as you connected the osmo 3 to the app. :) Or am i still confused ?

Hello. I am a total newbie to video cameras. I appreciate this video from you for beginners with the DJI Action 3. My husband bought my DJI for me this last Christmas and I've been too afraid to use it. I am an artist and want to use my DJI for filming my art/painting tutorials which will mostly consist of my camera following my hands working on my canvasses. Do you have any suggestions for settings of me painting in front of a large wall with canvas on it, or canvas sitting on a surface and one edge along the base of my wall easel? I've never shot a video of my painting practices in my life, I really need some help! This old lady is LOST. Thank you.

So when u do vlog obviously yr arms are extended out holding the extended arm , but you still look pretty close to the camera, do you zoom in?

That’s correct, save the clips first, download them from you osmo to you phone 👌🏽 easy

In regards to anti-flicker settings for both NSTC and PAL: According to a dji forum, “ 60hz is for the states and 50 for Europe.”

The new firmware upgrade has HDR. Would you recommend that setting for vlogging?

We don't recommend shooting with action cameras in low light, they're just not the best tool for the job
