My mic refuses to work for voice memos or voice to text/ voice texts. Super frustrating and it also refuses to update to the latest firmware. Phone calls work fine though.

none of these worked for me. i tried using my brothers airpods and his mic worked yet mine still doesn’t
When im in call or something my mic isn’t working but when Im using the voice message my mic is working

What worked for me was toggling with which microphone my AirPods utilized. It was on automatic but I then defaulted to my left ear. Try it out!?
