honestly I'm pissed at myself for not hearing them til the Kojima e3 game trailer was released, but damn, I've literally taken the dive plummeting deep into "Low Roars" music since then and made sure I've heard each and every song and I'm utterly impressed. Fantastic music and a fantastic job. I'm grateful that I have been introduced to this amazing group.

That's why I love Kojima. He brings tracks from non mainstream bands and make us discover them. Same story with Nuclear in MG5. This why I consider him a genius. Unique.

I know your comment it's from 8 months ago but, I agree with you, if you follow him on twitter he often shows what he is listening to, and usually they are bands like this, not that popular. Great taste of music.
I'd say Mike Oldfield was pretty well known before Kojima worked with him, but I totally agree with you on Low Roar.
@@J.RomeroLuna Low roar was widely popular here in iceland before death stranding. Kojima heard their music just playing while in a store in here while doing research on the environment. I'm glad he used their music and made them popular in places like America also and all, but to act like they weren't popular before is not the case.
@@KatrinEgilsdottir When I wrote the comment I remember that when you searched Low Roar on RUclips most of the videos were under 100,000 views and when we are talking international music, in my opinion, it's fair to say that they were not THAT popular (as I said in my original comment). Gladly, that's no longer the case and now they get the recognition they deserved all along.
@@J.RomeroLuna 🤔 from your point of view i see it... but in my country they were already mainstream and one of the more popular bands on the radio at the time. About the only band more played at the time was Imagine Dragons. He heard them because they were very popular and everywhere at that time in our country. He didn't discover an unknown band or make them popular is all I am pointing out. He travelled to Iceland and when he did their popularity reached him, not the other way around. I am glad you found them tho regardless of how or why😁👍
Just because you hadn't heard them in your area yet doesn't mean they weren't that popular... on the contrary they were already a big hit.

Every time I hear this song, I wonder if he knew, or if he thought he would prevail. Heavy, heavy, beautiful stuff.
I went to his concert 5 years ago and one song he sang he sang acapella. that was magical. the crowd went still with amazement, rightfully so. great artist (even if first albums were better than the newest material)
This band is so unique. Kojima brought me here. This shit shoukd be number 1 not the junk that is pop music today.

I'm here because I've been listening to Low Roar ever since he made his first self titled album on his laptop and it had just a few thousand views on youtube. I fell in love ever since I listened to it and Low Roar means so much to me and my wife (and later on to my children), while a trailer might have brought you here, I come here to enjoy his music and feel truly alive.

My mate plays this song in discord all the time because he played death stranding but i just like the song that played i didnt know what it was attached to, does that mean I cant enjoy it as much? Hardly.
