Elizabeth was a true diamond in the rough. Her legacy will eternally sparkle on all generations. Her style was unique, timeless and versatile. Her jewelry collection top notch, talent brilliant and heart priceless. She is and will always be a true humble and compassionate Queen. She was so loving to the hurting souls battling aides. She helped protect and flourish innocent children with her charitable events. I loved that she brought Christmas magic to Neverland back in the day. I believe she was Michael Jackson’s saving grace. He was such a lost and hurting soul. Miss them both but they have created a lasting imprint on my life.

On my way to college at the time in 1980 my boyfriend called me to let me know Elizabeth Taylor was filming on location at Union Station, Toronto Canada. ( Between Friends)
I left school and made my way to Front Street to see the most beautiful woman in the world.
She was just breath taking it’s been one of the most memorable moments of my life as I spent the whole afternoon watching them. Elizabeth and Carol Burnett finally at the end of shooting I ran to get some cheap flowers at the flower stand …it was a bit tacky, as she made her way to the Royal York Hotel across the street.
I will never forget her as I just turned 60. What beauty!

My biggest regret was never seeing her in person...
I do have a slight connection to her though... my grandfather's cousin, actor Keefe Brasselle was in a movie with Elizabeth... "A Place in the Sun"! This was the famous movie where she was with Montgomery Cliff, and became a star! 😎
I've seen the movie twice so far, and quite a thrill to watch Keefe in the same scenes with Elizabeth! Be sure to check out the movie and the credits.

Surprised how much I'm enjoying these clips! Oddly entertaining to see the life collection of someone so public & truly living her life, organized and valued - noticed no prices were mentioned, lol just as well, I'm sure the history adds twice if not more to the already pristine & vintage of the items that were already expensive.

When I was looking for a version of Jane Eyre to buy on DVD I specifically chose the 1944 version, Eliazbeth Taylor was a little girl in it, she was only in it for about 10 minutes, but I didn't care that Orson Welles was the main male character, I wanted Elizabeth Taylor. She was so beautiful.
