I realized later 😂😂 I gotta remember to check the freaking action log… wish the game made that card more clear that it was reason that was happening. But yeah I was just waiting for a sabo cause it was causing pain throughout the table! 😂
That was a really fun game. I had my chances and I’m not sure just what happened on my second Turmoil. Possibly something to do with Coffin Makers. The Commander should have been able to close the deal. Then there was the Marquise’s dominance play! Always fun. I thought that might distract the table enough for me to slip to the finish. I'm shocked the otters didn't attack the northern most bunny clearing on their final turn. Easy 6 points. Put two trade posts down and game over. Very entertaining game though!
3:30 definitely want to see these more! I prefer the live walkthoughs... it allows us to get into your mind and learn from the master hahaha. most people listen to/watch 1+ hours podcasts whilst doing other things.. I see this as different in one way: it's interesting!

Also if there is anyway you could help promote the kick starter and show it to more people me and the rest of the heroscape community would appreciate it! Love the video keep it up!
I must have misunderstood the WA but in physical play we’d always allow a revolt regardless if a base was already standing. We’d then just move the base (as if the revolutionaries relocated)
Yeah so you can only revolt if you have a base available :) that’s why usually I stray away from getting the 3rd base unless it makes a big difference (like stopping Birds from winning in this case).
54:00 I would’ve just moved one piece into the corner to stop cats from ruling it and then used the remaining actions to recruit move and mobilize to try and score, would that not have worked?
I didn't notice coffin makers was crafted as well but I figured that it was because of the card not a glitch. I am surprised that someone who says Root is their favorite board game didn't come to that conclusion as well LoL yup this was embarrassing ... Especially since he's also said coffin makers is like LOTB's favorite card to craft..I believe he said it in an exiles and partisans deck review
Haha it’s like you think I don’t read these comments. Just talk to me instead of in third person 😆 root is my favorite game. The digital adaption isn’t great at showing why interactions happen. It’s better now than it was then. That’s all I got to say. Also Coffin Makers is a very fun card.
@@db0ii it is available on many different platforms; Steam, Google Play, App Store, Nintendo Switch. As I understand it, it is cross-platform for all of them. I hope something suits you there ☺️
Root needs a leaderboard and some titles. The digital game needs a reason to play it. Like Risk or chess online gives you a ranking based on your win rate.
Why dont you create a serie of Videos called "strategy against Woodland aliance" and so on.... ? There are some factions that seems unconstantable..... I would like to hear your opinion!!

Yep. They already had a chance to close that way at the 1h mark, but only with two rolls of 3.
Then in the final round they really threw it.
