Skipping mavuika to get another characters is not a mistake.
If you can't get two characters in a single banner or update because you can't guarantee two characters is not a mistake, just wait for mavuika's rerun.
Not everyone can farm 180 pulls or spend money in the game.
Skipping Citlali is not an Mistake aswell, I mean She's only good in Melt/frozen team, I know I know her shield and pyro/Hydro shred res is also Good, though Zhongli is better in Every Elements since He's Geo and can also Shred enemies Res, though Just pull for The characters you want And needed

It is mentioned in one of the 5.3 quests that there is a different element than the 7 present in Nod-Krai. I am guessing that is what Skirk will have cuz she sure as hell wont be using the vanilla stuff we have now. I'm guessing Quantum and Imaginary are coming to genshin

Tbh I'm still not pulling just not a fan of her design, gameplay or personality (which is as shallow as a puddle) and I could care less about the big dmg. I might pull for Skirk tho but for now the only characters that I don't have and I'm interested in are Xianyun and Yelan which I'm pretty sure Xianyun is going to be in 5.4. So I'm saving my guaranteed for her. But good luck to anyone trying to get Mauvika or Citilali!

shes extremely fun to play with imo , just riding around flying around and nuking enemies , this is what ive always wanted in genshin an actual "fun to play" character , although when it comes to her fighting style that might be boring for some people cause DONUTS but i dont really mind

I already have Arle, and like, 4 Pyro main DPS that I haven’t even bothered to build, even if she was an across the board XL replacement with similar application, or a Bennet replacement, I still might not pull her because of the stupid bike. It's not that i don't want Mavuika, it's just i have no team suitable for her. She only really works with Natlan characters, and i only have that one single free Kachina. Pulling for Mavuika means i cant use her properly yet, and then i'll be forced to pull for other natlan characters on their reruns too.

Should just let you know, unless you love Venti I wouldn't recommend getting him. He's pretty bad now aside from certain situations. He's great in monstadt but bad in Sumeru, Fontaine and Natlan.
If you need grouping Kazuha would be better plus he buffs. However if you want Venti just because you love his character ignore everything I just said and I hope you get him early.

Getting Arle now and Skirk in 5.7, Mavuikas optimal playstyle revolves around doing donuts inside Bennet's circle, which is about as fun as watching a paint dry. Don't care how overpowered she is if she isn't fun to use. She would be a nice addition as a sub dps, but that is not a priority right now.
I got her and regret, man I hate this game I just want genshin to go back to 1.6

Considering arleccinho as my main dps,furina,xilonen/kazuha,mauvika does a pretty good dmg with improper built.

I pulled her and her sig, I put her in one party with citlali and xilo with their sigs, bennet with mistsplitter, she managed to do 1.5M in scara weekly, but I still prefer arlecchino chevy team anytime unless hoyo decided to do another gimicky enemies that requires nightsoul mechanics.

There's something so disingenuous about ya'll calling the only character that feels different to play in Genshin to be "boring" then championing characters like arle, whose literal gameplay is to stand there doing normal and charged attacks as the embodiment of "fun". I get not liking mavuika's design or playstyle. But you don't get to be anti-flaming motorbike that flies, climb mountains, acts as speedboat and still be on the side of "fun". But who knows, maybe your idea of fun is being put to sleep so in that case, yeah, Arle is "fun".
By the time she gets rerun it will be time for Skirk bringing a new element in game

I know it sounds wierd to some but... The fact that she is an archon that is a main DPS makes her 100% skipable. She does not raise anyone else but herself like Furina, Nahida, Zhongli and even Raiden does (yes raiden is a dps but she is more of a battery/enabler to me)... Anyway they made her skipable so don't mind if I skipppp

You can easily save from today until 5.7 to get both . Or else you can get archon reruns more frequently then other characters.
How much primogems to save I have 800 ?
@David67_ If you are not pulling in this patch or in subsequent patches you can save upto 200 pulls until patch 5.7 which is 32000 primogems. If you think you are extremely unlucky then to get both characters you need 360 pulls which is 57600 primogems. Which will be difficult to save . Because they will not give you this much.

Alright many thoughts and a bit of a read, but hopefully this helps other people decide on the situatuon of pulling this archon.
Mavuika is NOT a game-changing character across the roster, especially if you have other 5* Natlan characters. She supports Natlan characters the most but that isn't always going to be the focus after all.
Mavuika is primarily DPS-focused, but pyro itself has always been at the forefront of being the element that has the most DPS characters in the game with the most DPS-forward reactions involved being Vaporize and Melt.
Hu Tao and Arlecchino for example haven't fallen off their thrones of doing what they do well. Klee, Yanfei and Yoimiya are nothing to scoff at either for being able to pull off decent damage. (Regardless of how you feel about gameplay they can do numbers if built well) Xiangling has essentially always been an amazing sub DPS. And the grass is green. These are very common facts that we know but sometimes need to be reminded of with gambling brains taking over.
With the kit we have seen, Mavuika has a high damage ceiling, but it is not a pull that changes your entire setups if you have any of these other characters.
The other archons (arguably not Venti though due to Kazuha and Sucrose) have been irreplaceable in what they provide. We can't say the same for Mavuika. The only new mechanic she brings is a self-serving one which is the complete omission from using particles to recharge. Otherwise she's just another pyro applicator and damage dealer.
The traversal factor is jack of all trades master of none scenario because she doesn't traverse as well in any specific category better than the other Natlan characters. Ironically she can't even make use of the Scion of the Canopy's gimmick when she's actually from that tribe. The longevity of the traversal immediately diminishes outside of Natlan as is anyway.
Is it better travel? Of course. They have to make it part of the reasons to pull her.
I think the reason to pull her is because she lengthens the duration of Nightsoul Burst for other Natlan characters. But that's an issue in itself, it only applies to Natlan characters.
Her utility doesn't help the roster across the board like other archons which is my main argument of maybe don't feel TOO bad if you're wavering on getting her.
They constricted the variety that can be used with her with only having a handful of characters to make use of her entire kit as a teammate.

Not to mention that the support she gives for exploration is only great in Natlan which we only have 1 more region of. She's still alright outside of it but nowhere close to what she is inside of Natlan
I see what you mean, but that only applies to people who have been playing for a while for the most part (like 1 year+ at least) since at this point, you will have had a lot of time to build characters you wanted. For newer players, she is basically a godsend. She can traverse, do big damage, work as a sub DPS, etc. She isn't essential by any means, but she can make the game way easier if you are an early game player.
Plus, for the most part, no limited character is essential or game-changing besides like 3 (Kazuha, Nahida, and Furina. Maybe Xilonen and Zhongli too). Genshin isn't about pulling for the best characters (kind of), but pulling for you favorite characters (unless your fav is cyro, then I'm sorry for you). If you like Mavuika, pull for Mavuika. If you don't like her, don't pull her.

Anyways Mavuika without natlan characters is Still useful and great, I used mono Pyro earlier and ((c0r1 Mavuika)) it's Great, Though the ult is Not full yet but You'll get it in a seconds since her elemental skill cooldown is pretty fast.

To me she is another single element melee damage dealer. Chasca was unique with multi elements, far range and being untouchable in the air from most enemies in game. I am waiting for the next unique damage dealer like that.

From taking a break since 3.6 I've had so much to play and catch up was able to pull her after just 7 pulls on the banner
I didn't save for chaska, barely got her at the end of her patch. I saved about two weeks for mavuika, got her at 21 pity with capturing radiance.

@@danieliacomi5411 3 months is being overdramatic. In 3 months you're able to get around 150 wishes when you're endgame and on a filler patch. And on the current patches around 200. Which is more then enough to guarantee a 5 star

During all of 5.2, I did a lot of exploration, and managed to get 100+ pulls before 5.3. And I actually planned on skipping Mavuika for later since I wanted Citlali more, who I got at 77 pity (+27 after losing 50/50 on Chasca since I wanted Ororon), but I realized I had 320 primos left, so i just did 2 pulls on Mavuika, and low and behold, I got her.
You assume that people who skip for her rerun will only have only the bare minimum amount of pulls.

So, then new characters from the next region (if Nod-Krai is considered a region) will also be teased. It is definitely a big trap, but that seems to have been the pattern for a while now. So, it is best to figure out who you truly want and who you’re willing to sacrifice, especially if you’re f2p. Don’t feel pressured to get someone or not get someone because of what people say. Look at your account, the characters you use, the characters you like, and the gameplay you enjoy to determine who to get.
(For instance, I got Citlali to buff Gaming and Chasca. I’ll get Xilonen to buff characters like Gaming and Lyney. I want Xianyun to buff Gaming and Xiao. I realize I really want characters for Gaming lol)

Considering I saved since fountaine and kept grinding for months before mavuika was even announced.. I used 41000 gems plus 25 interfates to pull for her and her weapon.. I did a few grinding afterwards but I still have 20000 gems left.. and still grinding.. I think I'll be fine to pull for that character when she arrives. Now for the rest of you guys.. motivate yourself.. grind and don't stop till you meet that goal!.

How is she? I pulled for her did 80 wishes and lost the 50/50 got qiqi who I have max constellated already and now idk what to do. I want citlali bc her design is so cute I like her character and she's cryo who I have the least amount of chars of.. but her gameplay is not good imo she doesn't do any DMG and her shield isn't very strong either so I just don't know what to do... Mavika seems like better choice gameplay wise for me due to me having xilonen chasca and Emilie and I have serpent spine and no character that takes her talent books but she will prolly come back is what I was thinking whereas citlali I have feeling will not. After using all my primos 120 wishes and now having to use my 40 wishes out of my saved star glitter idk what to do
@maddielovelee her main souce is support which she does from talents her shield is just for some interruption resistance as long as anyone triggers melt or frozen in the team she can debuff the enemies she doesn't needs to be the one to trigger them she can use natlan artifact set and thrilling tales for huge dmg boost too so she is just an absolute support
@@Cursed_sinner so I ended up after using up almost all my primos and star glitter wishing for citlali deciding that this wasn't good lol and I went for mavika at the very end getting her finally after 150 wishes.... It became clear that I did not even have enough primos to get mavika in her rerun bc Genshin is making me go 145-160 wishes every time no cap with the third time being exception which wouldn't even matter anyway since I would get the new pitt thing. They're wild man I miss when you could wish 40 win then 70 the next then 32 then 54 where it was actually random. I have never gone without doing 70+ wishes since inazuma it's so predictably depressing. Sorry for rant but yeah citlali is so cute but I knew she would be another shenhe, xilonen, nilou, lyney, xianyun character where I'm getting her for looks and then she sits collecting dust. I realize characters like Chasca and EMILIE are my favs recently bc they're so fun and good at quick DMG or great at giving me more teams for abyss. So I decided mavika and sadly skipped citlali 😭 I did wish my last 10 star glitters on her but I knew that wasn't gunna happen lol SMH

C2 Pyro traveller does what is needed for Mualani.
Tapped E has fast pyro application, has low AoE but synergizes with her since she has to gain stacks by coming into contact with enemies and at C2 any pyro-related reaction generates nightsoul points for him which makes him a way better off-field pyro applicator than XL.
So unless you really want another on-field pyro dps, Mavuika has no must-pull value like let's say, Nahida or Furina.

I have a feeling they’re going to give skirk the arlecchino treatment. Insane hype and build up, and when she releases she’ll be the best dps of her respective element until the archon with the same element releases. If you don’t know what element I’m referring to; cryo.
Honestly, Arlecchino is probably still the best considering how much easier she is to build for practically the same damage (Mavuika need specific teammates to work best while Arlecchino is really fine with basic teammates like Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Kazuha/Sucrose, etc.)
I just got mavuika and citlali, the exploration just got so much easier!!!! I literally just jump from mountain to mountain. As an enjoyer of exploration, mavuika just made it 99 times faster
That’s tough, but the good thing is I don’t have to choose because I’m planning to skip natlan characters altogether (except xilonen’s rerun as I skipped her for mavuika just to be disappointed with her restrictive kit) I just don’t like the restrictiveness of natlan characters.

Getting Mavuika is the best thing that could have happened to me. I wanted to pull for Nahida, but Diluc showed up instead, and I didn’t have enough to pull for her. However, I got Mavuika at early pity, and it brought back the joy of exploration I felt while playing with her.
I didn't care about Skirk, i really knew Skirk might be released in 5.7 with Mavuika, but for me i personally do wanna collect 7 Archons than non-Archons, that's the reasons why i skipped Arlecchino in 4.6, because Mavuika

Tevat is not the only world. There is a reason for a false sky, remember Khanriah was as advanced but was destroyed. It’s not shocking that there is a bike once you think about it a little more. How come a bike makes you double take but ruin guards, guns, high tech boats and aircraft’s don’t

I was thinking about waiting for mavuika rerun, and skirk will not change my mind. I don’t really care about meta, just characters I really like. I love furina and missed her 4.7 rerun, so I am planning to go all in for her banner (supposedly appearing in 5.4/5.5)

She is nowhere near as needed as people make her out to be. She's just big hit damage dealer who needs Natlan 5* stars to work. She's jusr a good dps but there are countless other good dps's in the game
