I like the performances here better. But the script for the movie in this scene better. It kind of annoys me that everything just so happened to work out for everybody all at the exact same time in this.

Camara Rhodes one of the things I found to be really bad about it was Tracy. The actress has no energy, cannot sing very well, and is annoying as all heck. I also hate who ever played Tracy’s mom. He is also annoying and cannot sing. One other thing. NONE of these actors have energy when it comes to dancing. It’s awful. That’s my opinion, though.
Camara Rhodes Even though I am not a fan of the Broadway version of Hairspray, I prefer the 2003 cast for it. The one with Matthew Morrison as Link. Now THAT cast was amazing. I also love the cast for Hairspray Live! which was done in 2016. That was amazing too. Two of the actresses that were in it were Kristen Chenoweth and Dove Cameron. They played Amber and Amber’s mom. I also loved the 2004 film version of Hairspray. That was awesome as well. Zac Effron was in it as Link and John Travolta played Edna Turnblad.
HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST ENERGETIC CAST I'VE WATCHED! PLUS THEIR VOICES ARE SO IMPACTFUL.
