Discord orbs??? Discord orbs were seen 4 times and eventually taken today!! They have been seen 56 times in 2022 and taken in 31 of 58 builds. Meaning a 53.45% use rate this year. My heart after watching Discord orbs getting passed 3 times....yikes. I hope you enjoyed the Moes James!
I know you’re tired of charged shield suggestions, but when I did charge shield with temporal shield it was a very fun run. It ended up being a 2.2 million run, which was my highest. I was able to kill scion before he fired his first shot not because my damage was high, but because he was THAT slow. So i think it’d be a fun vid🤷🏼♂️
I've been a stealth nerd since I started drifting. This version seems to be where I'll be breaking my top scores when I play next. I love the direction chimeric is taking it. I'm not all the way through yet, but you know you can strafe backwards and forwards, also? Another YT did a great strafe video. Backwards strafe is great for builds like Firefly
I think forwards strafe is to fast and would break stealth. For backwards though, there's no excuse. I'm not sure if forward strafe actually breaks stealth but it does give you more speed then sideways or backwards.
And here, we see the rare spycrab. It is not native, to this habitat, but once it did reach space, it found a place, to trive. While, in his original habitat, of the tf2 maps, it is now almost, hunted to extinction, here, in space, it cold establish a small, but loved population. And so, we once again see, live, finds a way.
Version 0.33.5 fixed Strafing Strikes not counting as "firing" for purposes of Stealth, Calibrate, and so forth so it's no longer "maximum busted". It was fun while it lasted. 😎
@@MsHojat The patch notes on the Nova Drift Discord say "Strafing Strikes uses a less exceptional firing method and tries to work traditionally with calibrate, stealth, siege, charged shot, etc" and "Strafing Strikes is now considered 'firing'", so I would assume it counts. I haven't tried using Strafing Strikes myself. This video is the first time I've seen it in action.
It is too bad that this got nerfed into the ground like this, however it might still be useful for builds that go heavy into energized shields since loosing all your rate of fire won't affect most other guns.
Repost to a more theme apropiate video. There are 2 Nova Drift builds that I NEEED you to see. 1st - Lightning Ninja. Specter - Blade - Reflect. With the new mod that makes the weapon deal de lightning, the blade is SPECTACULAR. It deals a lot of little instance of damage. So, that means a lot of lightning effects. I killed the new 100 wave boss BY ACCIDENT. 2nd-Nova Lance. Arquitect - Fire Lance - Bastion. With the new mod that you used for the last nova Drift video that makes shields big with charge AND rancor. The shield gets BIG. Like double your size and covers very well. BUT the lance gets THICK. Like. Whole screen right to left long.
I feel like AM Rounds working with Strafing Shot is probably an oversight, given how it specifically mentions only working with weapons fired by you while the whole point of Strafing shot is that it's not you doing the firing. It does work though, at least for now. Will be interesting to see if changes are made for the full patch.
I feel like the permanent hyperboost could make some really sick build with several solar hearts and flak/trishot given the flat damage boost of the solar heart combined with the improved RoF of the boost, while the regen boost offsets the self-damage.
Then we gotta find a way to optimize the upgrades taken to make sure we can actually reach 20 spare levels before outright dying. Pretty sick but pretty rough as well

I think it does actually. Doing a Battery run at time of reply, only got atarax + blast radius, and while with only the lvl 5 buff I was still shooting 4 projectiles, reaching lvl 10 gave me an extra projectile.
You need to have 10 defense upgrades to get last stand into the pool and on this build you never got that high. Also things like Aegis and Cleavland would be great on this build.
I see everyone talking charged shield for temporal, but can we get a call back to a true classic. Sword and board. The classic got a real boost with 2.0 super mods, and I know you guys have fun with it.
Yet another banger. But I have to ask if heavy caliber make sense for this build? I could see 1 or 2 helping slow the missles down but after 10 levels stockpiled it is a higher damage increase to hold a level rather than take HC. Not to mention it has no rate of fire decrease and would get you permaboost sooner which is a big boost to damage with 2x rate of fire.

As a Strafe Enjoyer (tm) i must ask; any reason you aren't using the forward strafe? It typically launches you farther and with this mod: gives most projectiles forward momentum
Arguments against "nerfing" this for stealth: 1. It's hella slow >V 2. It doesn't stop random damage from killing you (see this run) 3. The ship in the icon for the super mod is SPECIFICALLY the stealth body 4. The option for stealth mods and anti-stealth enemies now exists (so the stealth body is not specifically screwed by a true sight enemy) 5. ONE build (stealth/strafing strikes) that isn't even THAT great won't invoke a nerf. Now if everyone did it, and only this build (with variations), sure, but it's a "lol can't hit me loooool" build at best.
Stealth if fine but why was the build so stronger than usual?... most medium enemies took just 2-3 salvos before going boom... even the bosses went down so quick...
To bad you really can't experiment in this game to well if you don't go down select few paths with upgrades or even selecting the weapon you're fucked. Game could use more options

Firefly, 1 Rampage, Propulsive Munitions, maybe Vortex, buttfire, the other buttfire, Halo shield, tempest break, and regenerative shields. Add Hypermetabolism for spice.

Assault Drones, Terminal Directive, Burnout Reactors. Try this, it's remarkably effective.
Also: Carrier + Vital Bond to stretch it farther. CRAZY effective. Grab up Guardian Ally + Medicharge for longevity.

Yesterday I hit 3.7 million with a similar build using darts instead of salvo

Could you try a build with charge shield and amp to get much more damage with how amp works?
Now I wonder if that new smod works well with antimatter rounds, apotheosis, and displacement to fire shots with dmg muzzle from inside of enemies?

At base you get +250% weapon damage in stealth with the Spectre body, and Ataraxia increases that by quite a bit. It adds up fast! 😄
