Howdy Brock! Great idea for watering the pumpkin patch. Couple things that you might want to look at, if you haven't already. Does the pump require priming? Unless it is a self priming pump you won't get any suction. Second: is the pump collapsing the intake hose? Most garden hoses aren't designed for suction, so they won't have the rigidity to maintain their shape. Can't wait to see the final product! Thanks for sharing 🤠
I'm liking the new video content due to equipment issues. For me, i like the tractor videos and these small projects and reviews your doing, and with your dad in them thats icing on the cake👍🏻. You lost me with skid steer and sawmill, but to each their own. This type of project and/or tractor videos are money for me! I'm enjoying it. Thanks.
Living on farm and not gardening - doesn't make sense. I love your pumpkin story, very cute pumpkins already. I can recommend adding more veggies next year based on your family preferences. Hard to explain or justify veggie gardening from effort\money perspective, however feeling of satisfaction is amazing. For example, my wife gets amazing smile on her face when stepping home with basket full of tomatoes, zucchinis and cucumbers (I never saw same smile in the store or market). Her smile makes effort worth for me. :)
Great idea! My garden is also flourishing with pumpkins this year and I have at least 3 or 4 that are already 12" in size and growing. I might try to setup something similar. 👍
Hi Brock. Does your pump need a foot valve? My Dad used to wrap a couple of layers of fibreglass window screen around our foot valve to filter out debris.

Nice setup. The plants will enjoy the water.
Cow manure is the best! Your doing great! Thanks

Your pumpkin patch is looking great! 🎃

I like the hint in this video for something that might be coming up in the near future. Did anyone pickup on it?
As an added benefit pond water especially those with a good fish population has added nutrients
I’m curious if whatever you’re using to kill off the Lilly pads would effect the pumpkins? I hope not. Keep up the great content!
Any updates on the little pond soon?
Does it need to be primed?
That's what I was thinking...
Hi Brock. Does your pump need a foot valve?
My Dad used to wrap a couple of layers of fibreglass window screen around our foot valve to filter out debris.
It needs something. i’m going to get this set up working.
Your pump, probably just needs to be primed. Use a pail and see if it works!
WOW!!! How long does it take for a hose replacement on a Deere anyway??? Haven't seen ya use it in quite a while.
It took them a while to come get it. Hopefully I’ve got it back soon.
I wish you would fuse those battery cables, near the battery. A battery explosion is not pretty!
👀
That might not be a self priming pump.
Hey those pumps are not self priming the water in a camper is higher than the pump
You don't pull water. You push water...
