Nah, the iso ult is already op, you can cancel multiple enemy ults and utility, moreover you can pop up your shield and have favourable gunfights. So the shortcomings are also valid that you need to ult from safe space or need a teammate to cover for you which is a valid trade off.
It’s not op at all. Kayo ult dose the same thing but dose it to more people and u not putting ur life at so much risk
@@saibotshawdow5090 nah, you are getting a favourable fight because you always generally ult with shield so unless you mess up, it's a win for you, meanwhile Kay/o is like a area control and you are never guaranteed a kill. Even though both are different types of agents if both players are equally good, iso will win every ukt fight with the shield which he will recharge and you don't need other teammates to risk to revive you, iso also forces a fight which Kayo doesn't
@@vitthalkudav4213 iso is not that favored where he wins every ult fight it’s 60-40 at best. And I mean it’s very meta that as an attacker u can run and right click iso before he able to move to one of the sides then take a fair 50/50. The idea of iso is alllllot more strong then he actually is. Especially considering that u can only really ult when ur team has numbers it’s practically a lost if u do it when ur down in numbers

His shield is just a massive problem and Im glad its being fixed. You can realistically have 5-7 shields per round if you are hitting your shots. Say you get 2 kills a round you will have 4 shields in that round alone but that 4th shield can be popped whenever you want instead of it being timed.
They could make it so that iso gets to choose which side of the ult he comes out on. That way in a 2v2 scenario a teammate could comm which side is safe to exit, and if enemies aren't diligent iso can take the risk and "entry" with his ult, similar to a yoru.
imagine if iso is able to cancel his ult while in it. thatd be kinda broken but would make his ult more valuable. Basically, before the shields drop in the ult... Iso has the ability to reject the "contract" and send both players back. U can suck someone in, then cancel it. You both come out at the same time of course but, you can buy time for your teammates to push. Buy time for the bomb plant, confuse enemy.. I think it could really work
I like this. I think majority of the players will still 1v1 inside so cancelling the contract doesnt hurt
I literally found this to be the most useful thing for me to do as of now on Iso as a new valorant player. My aim is quite bad and dueling is subpar so I went to main Iso for the shield, then I figured out I can use his ult to take someone completely out of the picture for at least a couple seconds and in one game that turned out clutch for a defuse. The power to take a good player off the field for a couple seconds is what I find best about his ultimate rn for me
If you are using your ult in a place where they can camp your body you are dumb.... his ult is not bad I don't know what Tenz is talking about.
He's talking about both teams tho it doesn't matter if your iso or the enemy team player if you win the iso Ult with less players left on your team the majority of the time your spawning back to people who have found where your spawning and its insta death with 0 counterplay options so it makes sense for him to say hide the pylons for both players to actually give the winner of the ult a chance instead of just dying right away
It's so annoying cause I get ulted I win the fight but the whole enemy team W keys through mid to kill me so I get pretty much punished for winning a fight off spawn because I'm stuck in a dumb ult. Or when abt to play retake I haven't made it to site yet I get ulted kill Iso and the enemy is in spawn and kills me once I come out. It's literally just a stupid design and frustrating for no reason.

I think knowing where and when to ult safely is part of the skill needed to be a good iso player. I agree that he needed to be nerfed after the recent buffs but I think nerfing both the recharge AND duration of the shield was a bit much and either of those nerfs alone would’ve sufficed.
One change i would recommend is to have the wall instant cast like a satchel or jet smoke that slows down after a few meters rather than going full speed on its entirety.
His ult is crazy good you’re setting your team up to take site if you snag someone and you shouldn’t win if you pop ur shield.
I agree on the ult thing, I wish only team mates could see where Iso ulted from. It especially sucks in a 1v2

i think the fix that I would personally do is add 1 more kill for the recharge and out of ult iso has a reyna invul to get out quickly if need be because right now the ult is garbage unless you have shield up and even if you do there is a chance you lose and when you come out u get camped. an ult is designed for teams to possibly alter the flow of a round or get a massive advantage in a game course. right now his ult seems like a very double edged sword.
his ult is very strong if you use it properly, there is no situation at all where his ult is “garbage” unless you’re just standing in the open and throwing it
@@kammatthews exactly, getting ppl off plant/defuse is huge, you can also remove a sentinel from an important chokepoint for your team to go in so even if you lose the duel, they can still pick up that kill easily, it's a great ult i dont know why ppl are downplaying it
I still rather his double tap can be taken out by utility like stuns since you're getting hit by something

@@phearstahh2245 no not just if you are a good aimer. You could lose way more than you win and it would still be good if you used it in the right circumstances.
I think the 12 sec shield is fair, but not being able to get a free shield again from 2 kills is kinda much… but then again I guess it refreshes on kills so its not gonna kill Iso
they shoulda made it so that the 2 eliminations to recharge the skill only counts if the shield is broken.

Big thing about Iso that I hate, he forces you into a 1v1 with no abilities but still has abilities active. He cancels ults and other abilities, why can Iso have a shield going into the duel? It gives the grabbed player almost no chance to win if the Iso has a shield going into the duel. Either abilities shouldn't be cancelled when you enter the duel, like Jett knives or Raze launcher, or every ability should be cancelled.
Because it’s his ult ? What’s the point if he has no advantage in his own ultimate. The fact he can get killed in his own ult is a big balancing factor.
