One of my all-time favorite movies from the 80s. Criminally underrated.
Gotta check it out...never heard of this movie till now. Criminally underrated is my type of movie 👉💯👈
This was one of those films that got lost in the fog of time. I didn't recognize the title at first but as soon I saw Patrick Dempsey in the sombrero it all came rushing back.
Absolutely LOVE this movie. F*ck I miss the 80's!!!
Crazy bro I completely forgot about this movie my brother and I used to watch it all the time as well !!! Man, he just brought back memories
One of my favorites growing up
Sweet bro. I'll have to check this out. And what's up with the 80s and their cartoon intros. One Crazy Summer comes to mind. :)
Awesome job!
Thank you!!
Either the people that let you in to all them places to film are the nicest, or you have a great personality that let you in like you’re one of the biggest Hollywood film maker. You rock bro!
Another great job Kurt
Hey Kurt! How are you doing? Hope all is well. I just got done watching this. I was getting ready to ask for you to do this film. It's like you read my. Thanks again. Keep posting awesome videos. #Kurt #80slife #filmlocations
YOU deserve millions of likes and views my friend
I love this movie!!!!!🍿🍿👍🥰 Nancy Valen was also in one of my favorite 80's movie " The Heavenly Kid" I would absolutely love it if you would vlog that film, it's SO underrated! I don't think that anyone else has...🙂
Excellent Kurt. I still love this movie.
when i was a pizza delivery driver in the 90's, i was always hoping an order of extra anchovies would be ordered
Should have been extra sausage.
@@garibaldi54😂😂😂
Just another gem that made 1989 THAT year for movies. I cannot think of another year when so many memorable movies dropped. 89' was that "You just had to be there" year!
I've only relatively recently found you and have thoroughly enjoyed going through all your older videos.
One movie I'd LOVE to see a locations on would be *_SECRET ADMIRER_* with C. Thomas Howell, the iconic Fred Ward and 2 of the most gorgeous women of the 80s (and beyond, honestly): Lori Loughlin and Kelly Preston. Not to mention a supporting cast that you would've seen in just about every 80s movie worth a damn.
Again, your videos are amazing! The level of detail you look for is incredible when you match a location that's changed dramatically.
You, sir, rock!!
We're not worthy!!!!
Excellent work! One of my favorite comedies of the 80s!
Extra anchovies.
Loved this movie back in the day!

Thank you so much. That means a lot to me
This series is so great
Thank you
Another great video bro. Thanks again.
This is a great classic movie, another Patrick Dempsey gem. You did a great job with these filming locations. with a great attention to detail. This movie had a great cast that you touched on in the beginning, but Kate Jackson as Randy's mother, Robert Ginty as Randy's father, and the awesome Robert Picardo as the doctor. These combined with the rest of the cast made this an All-Star movie.
Great work Kurt that was fun
Thank you!!
Hell yea what weve been waiting for thanks Kurt u da man
My pleasure. Thank you!
Thank you so much for doing this one!! I watched Loverboy so many times growing up. It would be a tough one to ever get tired of. It’s really cool that you caught the hotel before it changed completely. Surprised it isn’t apartments
Thank you for watching. Yes, I caught the motel just in time... thankfully

Great movie!
Had my prom at the Mandalay in '89. Never knew at the time that Loverboy was filmed there.
Another great video, Kurt!!!
80's rocked 🤘🤘🤘🤘
You do great research.
And the bodybuilder is from the movie heartbreak ridge he was the marine Clint Eastwood beat up
Brilliant work Bro!! Thank you.
I totally forgot about this movie. It was great. Vic Tayback was great. He will always be Mel from Alice! Thanks for the trip down memory lane
This was great! went back and watched all of your other videos I missed the first time, Christmas Vacation, Beverly Hills Cop, Clueless, Karate Kid, Once Bitten, They Live, Can't Buy Me Love and all the others....Good stuff!! Keep up the good work... Check out "How I Got Into College" movie, 1989 filmed in California... Cult classic...
Thank you so much for checking out so many of my videos.
Just bought this movie on DVD since I couldn’t find it on any streaming services, such a fun movie to rewatch! Thanks for taking me to the filming locations - so cool!
I found your channel this weekend and I've been completely obsessed. From one 80s Socal kid to anotherThank you! I LOVE this movie. Did anyone ever wonder why the Rabbit convertible was parked in the driveway of the Bodek house when Tony dropped off the suit? Randy's Mom drove a Mercedes and the Dad a Bronco. We never saw Randy in a personal car and his Dad picked him up from college. Something that I've always wondered about watching this movie.
Great movie! RIP kirstie Alley
Thanks for the videos man!!! I love this movie
My pleasure. Thank you
Awesome looking t shirt 🎉
What a Valentine's Day treat! Love this movie! Nancy Valen was so hot!
Thanks for sharing all these locations. That's awesome man. Really enjoyed watching this. 80's rocks
Great video
Amazing how you managed to get any of those houses, also must have been a hassle persuading the businesses to let you film inside.
Nice touch with the inserted addresses! Cool video again dude.
By the way: Jenny is in Miami Vice twice in the first season. ;)
I wish Vic Tayback had time to make more comedies. His screaming gravely voice always made me laugh. Reminded me of Robert Loggia. Great video.
Love these videos!👍311xx
Thanks,I’m going to watch this Friday night 🇮🇪
You’re really good at matching the shots up!!
Amazing movie and thanks for doing the location shots so awesome.

If you ever make it to Vegas there is a famous location from the movie Cherry 2000 with a quarry pit...Lestor (Tim Thomerson) drops a guy into the pit strapped into an old van... that van is still there... you can walk right up to it.
Great movie thanx for the video bro.
My pleasure. Thank you
Ahhhhh - nice one!!
Nice work. Would you ever do a location video for "Real Genius" from 1985? Oops, scratch that, I just saw it in your past videos. I just recently discovered your page. Great job on that one too.
RIP Kirstia Alley.
This is awesome. Thank you

Here in Fallbrook ,California they have a Suzuki Samurai car club. lol! Grazzi pi la video, Salut Amicu!
The Embassy Suites in Oxnard, California. Home Town, I totally remember those pink sofas. We would jump the fence to swim in the pool. Good times. It's in an area of Oxnard called "The Shores "
Good job!
Thank you!
When Harry and Dr Palmer showed up at the personal trainer's house and they clicked up, i almost died from laughing, i love this movie.
excellent work! gongrats
I loved❤ this movie 🎥 very funny 😁
Now this was a Classic!! Glad you did this my man! Any chance you will do One Crazy Summer?
Oh and also The Gate 1 and 2!!
Wasn't One Crazy Summer filmed on the East Coast if it's set off of Rhode Island? Not an LA movie?
@@PouchMaster you're right about the east coast. Cape Cod, Massachusett. And also Martha's Vineyard.
@@blueghost4121 Yeah I was curious so I just looked it up. Nantucket is an Island about 30 miles from the coast of Rhode Island from the ferry at Woods Hole. So they never actually filmed anything in Nantucket? That's weird. Never went to Rhode Island, I guess it's the smallest state. I really liked One Crazy Summer. Bobcat Goldthwait's best role of all time! Where he's stuck in the Godzilla costume and can't get the head off and he's running around swearing and panicking lo!
@@PouchMaster 🤣🤣🤣🤣totally remember that scene!! It was that movie thar got played almost every weekend on cable.
I was a big fan of John Cusak back then.
My band Riddlin Kids based our first video on this movie about 20 years ago. Lol
Another kickass vid, Kurt. Was wondering if you'd get Randy's house, which I knew was in a gated community. I guess not.
A video regarding "The Hidden" filming locations would be well appreciated. Classic 80's L.A.
So funny that the Carrie Fisher you picked was not even really Carrie Fisher. LOL. That's the CG Carrie from Rogue One.
An early acting job for Dylan Walsh. Later in the great show Nip Tuck. 🙌
I remember this movie 🤠🤙🏼
Cool videos, I have a request for two movies locations, Heat and Constantine. Please do those
Thank you. One of those is already in the works. 🙂
I can’t believe I’ve never seen this movie. I remember it on the shelf at the video store in the 90’s. If I’d known Carrie Fisher was in it I definitely would’ve seen it
That blond boy is Rick from Eddie and the cruisers ,2
The order for Costa Mesa was so that he would have an excuse to be gone for work for so long without getting in trouble. So yeah, it makes total sense...for an 80s movie.
Love the vids. Wanted to know if you were a fan of (1980) The Hollywood Knights?
Cameletti became Cher’s bagel boyfriend aka Stallone lookalike after this movie. Suzuki Samari still rocks!
And Heavenly Kid
Definitely
You should make a video on( American Me ) filming location's
Do you know of any "Hollywood Knights" filming locations? That movie was on cable TV constantly in the early 80's! lol
Video might have to check a video out
Wonder if that's the same scenic area in Secret Admirer also?
