Man I hope Larian add frame gen to bg3. It’s one of the games where the added latency even at a low base frame rate of 20-15 wouldn’t really matter because of its turn based nature.
@@lold6d2 it doesnt NEED 30fps to work, but you will want at least 30 for a responsive experience in faster games. BG3 is not a fast game so responsiveness isnt important
@@Legokillen51 Smoother visuals at the cost of high input letancy? no thank you, It barely works in spiderman, whereas you reach somewhere between 34-58fps in majority of the game. If you want frame generation from 25-27fps, it'll play super poorly and badly, no matter how slow game is, clicking an input and seeing it on screen after more than 150-250ms is awful. I wouldn't even play card games at such terms, I'm no FPS or input latency freak by any means, but that would feel JUST AWFUL. Most people would rather have stable frametime and "decent" input latency, than additional few FPS.
I wish you would have put settings used :( not like detailed but simple 60/40/30 fps lock and low/med/high settings. Even if it’s a mix of low/med it would give an idea. Either way I sincerely appreciate the video! Having all of these in one place is a godsend, thank you! And keep it up DW

Nope! You may want to check the channel for full videos to learn the settings for each game. You can always search a game on RUclips with Deck Wizard at the end to find my videos easily 😊
Well personally I played it for the first time ever a few months back when infrist got my steam deck, it ran great besides a few tinks I made in the beginning. But I beat it exclusively on the steam deck so yea it's good

Seeing Baldur's Gate 3's Act 3 run like that on Deck hurts my soul man.. Whole game runs great and then it just tanks :(
Why is that is not well optimized for steam deck? Or the game is too heavy for SD ?
@@clashwithron1008 Too heavy, hundreds of NPC in the 3rd act.

have windows on an SD card just to play Rainbow Six Siege, works great ngl. afaik, Valorant runs pretty well on Windows 10 on the deck.
Windows is going to destroy your SD card. Should never run an OS off an SD card. The read/writes will wear it out.
