Great song. I was at a Beatles festival where there was a solo performer doing various songs on an acoustic guitar. He did this song - kept the guitar quite low,so was mainly his voice you hear. The audience joined in for the entire song - was really lovely. Great to have everyone join in,and know all the words, on what would not be one of their better known songs.
Good Man Stu*****😎. You kept the original key! I see it transposed too often because of The "Bb"! Yes lovely people... the B flat needs you! 🤣 Learn it! This was one of my early Beatles Covers. I learned the Bb specifically to keep the dignity of this beautiful song. As long as you keep them in the original key, I elect "Teacher's Choice". I know and love them all. Thanks 👍✌️🦋
Yeah, Bb is an important chord to know (I remember feeling flummoxed by the F shape on a guitar many many years ago...worth the struggle!) There were a number of votes for I Will so I went with it -- glad you're enjoying things & enjoy adding this lovely piece into your repertoire :-)
@@UkuleleZen ...I remember on one time you said, "they call it F for a reason"🤣 my stomach hurts typing this! Lol 😂 Back to the Bb. It's the 'Stu Bb Triplet'. I started with ukulele yoga, then random strumming, oh and a little finger picking, All while using the metronome. What a workout!!!. Still not 100% but a lot better than I used to be. My applause to you ☺️ It's a real challenge for some to keep my attention as long as you have. Every lesson you provide has such incredible value. I get more from you than when I studied at The Hartford Conservatory. You're an incredible blessing to all of us who share this ukulele world.😊
This is one of my favorites from the Beatles repertoire. Thank you for sharing the chords and Merry Christmas to you, you're the best! Greetings from Guatemala.
Just started the ukulele a month ago with a little guitar work 15 years ago and a wind instrument as a kid. Really enjoying your style and am working to learn it. You probably have posted or made a video of this but what's your musical background and how long have you been playing ukulele? Did you pick it up on your own? Do you play other instruments? Thanks.
Great session Stu, I love that song have been playing it for a while but looking forward to practising and working in your add ons into it. How about a finger picking version of “Julia” I think it follows on from “I will” on the white album

I love this song. Love the video. Thanks for the percussive part! I vote for a super sad, beautiful song: “For No One”.
The Long and Winding Road has always been a favorite of mine. This one is wonderful!!
That would be a great tune to do...need a lot of notes for those rich jazz chords Sir Paul used....

Stu, post-Beatles, I would love to learn a finger-picked version of "Never Die Young" by James Taylor.
Hmmm...interesting choice. I'll look into it -- JT's finger style is great...tricky to put onto 4 strings, but I'll see!
Cool🎶👏
And Your Bird can Sing
Hey Cathy! A great melody and song...always loved those harmonies on the guitar part :-)
@@UkuleleZen yes, the guitar harmonies are so cool!
My husband plays in a band that's been doing Beatles music for about 30 years. And they do it very well.
Can't Buy Me Love
Oooh! Great blues based rocker!!
It would be great if you could solo part, please.

Will you consider "I'm a loser" from Beatles For Sale please?
YES!
@@UkuleleZen I love the harmonies in that song and the mismatch between darkish lyrics & pace, bit like Help in that respect.
I adore this song. Another Beatles song that is so bittersweet but painfully beautiful!!
This is awesome!

Enjoy adding the extras to your playing…Julia is such a beautiful song 🙌
Drive my Car, Probably a lot simpler than "I Will"
Cool! Drive my car got a lot of those last month… I’m sure it will happen sometime… Plus, there are some awesome lead lines in there to learn 😃🎶🤙
I think Baby You Can Drive My Car would be fun.
I would LOVE to!
In My Life
YES!
All you need is love..if possible..
The Global Anthem! Someday, yes - a tutorial!
While my guitar gently weeps
I’d love to do a tutorial on that… Not the Jake version but the original Beatles key of A 🤙🎶😊
